I'm sad as I type this, but unfortunately, it's around that time. I've loved this show so much. It's the best mix of comfort and cozy and drama (but not too much). But, all good things come to and end. 😢
In my New Year's post, I mentioned that I'd be replacing the next thing that ended with something that was a 30 minute or less (mostly) show. So, here's the options. This will start Tuesday, February 3 for Novel members and above and will come out every Tuesday and Thursday.
As per usual, I've enabled multiple choice options, so choose everything you like.

The team investigates the murder of an actress, Sharon, working on a musical who was killed the night before the opening of the show and thrown off a balcony.
Suspects include the director, producer, and cast members including those who wanted Sharon's job.
Her boyfriend tells the team that Sharon had been scared after she was mugged a few days ago and had suspected that someone from the musical was involved.
Jane identifies Miranda, in line to replace Sharon, as a cutthroat competitive person and she admits that she and a friend mugged Sharon to throw her off.
Using his skills of perception, Jane determines that senior actress, Diandra (Donna Murphy), is in fact Sharon's biological mother and they had reconnected. Diandra tells Jane and Lisbon that she is not an alcoholic, as people suspect her to be, but is suffering from multiple sclerosis and Sharon had gone to the room where she was killed to bring Diandra her medication.
Going through crime scene photos, Jane hatches a plan and recruits Agent JJ LaRoche to play a part in his act. LaRoche dresses like Hannover, the apparent sponsor of the play, till producer Dodge (Matt Servitto) vehemently protests confirming Jane's suspicion that there never was a Hannover.
Dodge confesses that he had put all his money into the musical and Sharon walked in on him dressing up as Hannover and was going to blow his cover so he killed her.
Jane gets a call from the hospital that Lennon is awake. Agent Bob Kirkland asks Lennon if he recognises him and Lennon says he doesn't. Kirkland kills Lennon by injecting air into his IV and tells Jane that Lennon never said a word.

Hello, hello. Happy Sunday.
I'm shocked that I got everything out on time last week. It was kind of a crazy week and I was out of the house a lot (well, for me). But we did it!
This week we end S1 and start S2 of Beauty & the Beast. Why is this show so good? And it's getting better as it goes on!
We're also jumping back into Stranger Things this week. I remember, literally, nothing. But Dan wanted to watch the final season (he quit halfway through season 3) and caught himself up. So he's a fountain of useful information. He only watched the first two episodes of S5 though. He decided he needed to rewatch the whole thing, so now he's about halfway through S1. But, the point is, he can answer whatever questions I have (which are many) before we dive back in.
Sadly, Hart of Dixie is almost over. So, we'll need to replace that. I've got a poll scheduled to come out Tuesday. I'm looking for shows around 30 minutes or less. They do not have to be sitcoms (but they can be). I'm just looking for one shorter show a week. The poll currently has about a dozen things on it I want to see. But, if you comment on shorter things you want to see, I'll add them. The replacement will be for Novel members and above.
Thank you to those of you who encouraged me to get a Kindle. I bought it for myself for my birthday last year. I cannot stop reading. It's just so easy. My goal this year is to read 100 books. I've already read 7 this year. How did I ever live without it? I won't bore you with all 7, but there was one 5 star among them. Maeve Fly. If you like weird, fucked up shit (and I do), this will scratch that itch for you.
I also read a book I HATED. I'M SO MAD I SPENT A DAY READING IT. If you value your sanity, do not read Behind Her Eyes. The only downside to the Kindle is that I couldn't chuck it across the room when I finished the book. Fuck you authors who decide the book needs a twist and the 'twist' is that we've changed genres in last 20 pages of the book. Okay. I'm done now.
I'm trying to decide if I should watch Heated Rivalry (for my own enjoyment, not to react to). But, I haven't read the books yet. I've read The Shots You Take by Rachel Reid (which was goddamn delightful), and my far share of other hockey romance (but none were as good as that one), and I fucking love hockey. It's my favorite sport. So, for those of you who have watched/read, is it cool if I watch without reading first? Dan did give me three books for Christmas (all of which I'd already read) that need to be returned. So, should I just exchange them for the series, or just plow ahead with the show and read whenever I get to it? I cannot decide. It's driving me batty. Lol. Someone make the decision for me. Please.
It's been snowing off and on here for the past two days. The perfect kind of snow. The kind that sticks to trees and grass, but not the street. Everything is white and pretty, but it isn't really inconveniencing anything. Dan and I spent way too long yesterday watching a cardinal sitting in a snowy tree. Fuck, we're getting old.
I guess we'll leave it at that. Don't forget to put 30 minute shows in the comments. And enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Hello, hello.
Here's the movie poll. If you missed it, I'm now doing two movie reactions per month for Book Stack and above members. Here are the offerings for this month.
I'll be watching the 2 movies that rate highest. The first will be posted Saturday, January 24, and the second will be posted the following Saturday, the 31st.
I've set this so you can choose multiple options, so have at it.

Gabe reveals a big secret to Cat: he knows about Muirfield.
Vincent is wary of anything he says.
J.T. and Vincent find a new hideaway.
****I'm so torn. I feel like I should trust Gabe, but just the way he talks and acts, feels very aggressive to me and it's hard to trust or believe him. Also, how does this girl (who has also, apparently, been subjected to Muirfield) have access to computer hacking and crime scene photos? Seems suspicious. That said, I'm dying for more backstory on Gabe now. Plus, how the hell are Vincent and J.T. managing to stay in this mansion?!? Caroline moves to Dallas with Alaric and the twins.
Valerie locates an anti-magic bar in New Orleans, "St. James Infirmary" where Stefan must hide (as Rayna's sword will not be able to trace him there).
At the bar, Stefan meets Klaus. He eventually finds out that Stefan is there hiding from Rayna and is furious. He asks Stefan to leave, and Stefan forgets his phone. Klaus gets to talk with Caroline, finally agreeing to protect Stefan and does so.
While on the run, both Nora and Mary Louise are tranquilized and captured by men who work for "The Armory".
Meanwhile, Bonnie and Damon meet Enzo at a supernatural museum-like organization named "The Armory", who are desperate to lock up Rayna. Enzo works for them as they are giving him information about his family. He wants to know Stefan's location in order to lure Rayna in.
Damon adamantly keeps his brother's location a secret after getting warned about the organization's dubious past from Valerie. An equally adamant Enzo tranquilizes Damon and knocks out Bonnie (it is shown that, somehow, Enzo makes Bonnie immune to magic).
Damon finds himself locked in with a comatose Tyler who will soon transition into a werewolf because it is a full moon. Bonnie takes desperate measures to save Damon from being bitten. Damon struggles with Tyler, who makes him realize that "people around him are always dying in order to save him and it must stop". Taking it to heart, Damon advises Bonnie to not open the cell as she could die.
Undeterred, Bonnie manages to open the cell, only to get her skull bashed by Tyler who runs away after a fight.
Damon sees that she is not healing with his blood and gets her hospitalized. As he talks to an unconscious Bonnie, he says that he is deeply hurt to have put her and Stefan's lives in danger, both of whom tried to save him.
This makes him think that it would be best to take himself out of the equation as to no longer bother his loved ones, and it will all end tomorrow.
This episode begins a crossover with The Originals that concludes on "A Streetcar Named Desire".
Flash forward: Caroline and the twins have come to meet Klaus at the same bar that Stefan was hiding. A waitress informs her that it has been three years since Klaus has disappeared.

Hello, hello. Happy Sunday (at least where I am).
So. I had a perfectly, perfect week. 5 reactions a day is the perfect amount for me. I managed to clean my apartment, get some reading done (holy hell did I HATE the ending of Behind Her Eyes- but I loved Maeve Fly), and take a couple of walks. Sounds great, right?
Well, now it's this week. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday which is my entire day (we only have one car, so I need to go with Dan to work and then take his car- also my OBGYN is almost an hour from my house). Cool, though. Got it all under control. Just now, I got a text from a friend of mine who told me he is moving 5700 miles away. On Wednesday. So I'm going to meet up with him tomorrow. You understand.
All that said, everything that is supposed to come out this week, will. Some stuff might trickle into Saturday, but it will all come out this week.
Also, I have to apologize for Beauty & the Beast. It got removed from Amazon and the only place I could watch it for free was CW. This means, we are bombarded with commercials. I remember when I was a kid, commercials were set before important moments. That is still the case, but it totally breaks my flow. By the time the show is back, I've spend 4 minutes scrolling on my phone and I've forgotten what's happening. 😳
We finish S1 and start S2 of Siren this week. I'm so curious! I don't want to spoil anything, but maybe I was right??!?
We also finish S2 of Ginny & Georgia and start S3. This show is so, crazily, intense! It doesn't seem like it would be, but it totally is.
9-1-1 picks back up this week too. I know other stuff as happened since, but I cannot stop thinking about that stupid blow up pumpkin. 🤣
I'm not a Bills fan. But. I kind of want to be after the last few minutes of their game today, right?
If you haven't left movie suggestions, leave them now. I'm putting up the poll early this week (I've got some things I want to watch too). The top two spots are the two movies I'm reacting to for Book Stack this month! (If you left them last week, they are already in).
