Some new developments, and an extra

I have been looking at the feedback gotten so far, and one thing that seems to be a common complaint is robotic movements of the characters. So I've taken a step toward fixing that. I can't guarantee it'll be immediate or even any good, but I feel it's worth the attempt.

I honestly thought it had been longer, but turns out the last one was mid-april, so 4 months isn't the worst. Hey, Prequel hasn't updated since december!

Final stretch!

Like literally. That's the character animation now all wrapped up for this episode, and the final scene animated and going to render in the next few minutes. All that's left to do is complete the earlier SFX shot then do the edit and we're there! And to be fair, most of the edit is already done. I build it up as it goes along. All it needs is a few passes over to see if there's anywhere it can be trimmed or improved. Fingers crossed there's no need for pickup shots.

Apologies for the lack of updates or anything really in the past fortnight. Things have been kind of busy or just not working out.

Update 10/6/21 - stuff is doing

So, that was a couple of weeks...

My plan was to take a week away and just take some time relaxing and getting in some good biking. That is really not what happened. First up, on the monday morning, I got the van all tidied and ready to go. Packed bikes, had my trip planned. Computer issues and time off

Quick one, not sure how long the computer will stay alive this time.

Think I might have gone a bit over the top with the last batch of rendering, and the RAM on my PC seems to be dying and bluescreening my pc every few minutes. Will be ordering replacement RAM.

On the bright side, I'm away biking for a few days anyway, so I wasn't going to be getting any work done for most of this next week, so that works well.

Next side-project voting

Following on from the last vote, I've made a couple of concept animations, as well as the last Efa imageset to see what I should concentrate on next.

Dargon suggested some things, but also mentioned solo animations with any of the characters. I kind of like the idea of showing off the newer models for Kyn and Efa, and I quite enjoyed doing Efas Zero-G imageset, and would quite like to turn it into an animation as well.

Similarly, I could have paired Efa and Kyn, but nobody request...
