So where were the girls headed in the December comic?
Originally they were headed to a New Years Party (which is why no Gwen, she can’t drink) but my wife said “You drew them in all black?! They look like they’re heading to a funeral!” and that idea was too silly to me not to use it.

This comic is based on a suggestion by Lygot!
the idea was for Ronnie to come across a sleeping girl in a library and strip her with scissors… the ghost hunt stuff was my idea to make to seasonal, hope it doesn’t detract too much!
I had to break this into two parts, sorry all the actual nudity is coming later but hopefully the sapphic crush stuff helps a little… OH! This comic is taking place concurrently with the Shrimp Heist story!

A ridiculous comic about Emily and Sierra being too warm, based on the recent heat wave in the Bay Area where is was 120 degrees one week then pouring rain the next (and now back to being too hot.)

When I was drawing the girls in their cavegirl costumes it occurred to me if I gave Emily, Ronnie, and Sierra instruments it’d be like a fun ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ homage…
for some reason I decided I needed to try to animate it…
I’ll probably get around to Sierra and Ronnie (and maybe even Gwen too) too someday, but I need to start on this month comic before I noodle around more on time sink side projects… but still for being first real animation in 17 years, not ...

(I also think this might be the first time I mentioned the ride share driver girl’s name is “Vanessa Peach” and the glasses wearing fellow’s full name is “Seymour Butte”… their social handles make a little more sense if I explain that…)

Gwen and Sierra get Cave girl costumes to match Emily and Ronnie’s from the last update. Your choice of Sierra with or without War paint! I didn’t realize until I finished how similar Gwen’s pose was to the cookie pajamas one, I’ll have to do better next time.

When I was working on Sierra my wife said “she looks like should have a ring of flowers around her!” so that’s the origin of that design element!
