Yesterday I felt like death and I didn’t get much done I’m afraid, but today I was a little better and managed to get started on a sketchbook. It turned out pretty ok... coulda been better and the next one will be. It took all damned day too.  ._. Projects like this always take longer than they seem!

Silly Birthday Doodles

I'm back!!

Technically I got back the evening before last but oh man, yesterday I was dead dead dead.

Eurofurence was good! I sold everything in the art show and though a few pieces went for below the price I was hoping (I priced low because I don't want to lug it home) the overall show was very good. I made 400$ for the charity and that made me feel pretty swell. :P  

After that I traveled around the Alps a little. Got some very good reference photos so expect some more paintings feat...

EF SKETCHES

I’m such a fool and always forget to document my sketches at con. Here are the ones I took pictures of to send over telegram. Which I think is the majority but there are ten or so missing. 

Because I am going to Eurofurence I am pausing September Billing

I would have paused August but I was too late. So this month is going to be a little sparse with me going to Germany for two weeks, but I'll pause September even though I'll be back on schedule to make up for it.

I delivered her digital badge and she said she had really hoped for a traditional one, so I made another. And then she told me she hated icecream XD  So I changed it into a giantass cupcake!  She's gonna bring me delicious Belgium chocolate and beer for the extra badge :9

I see we can do multiple images in a post now! That's great. That helps me a lot. I often have a lot of little junk sketches that are kind of a pain to stick in one image but I feel bad peppering all of you with notifications.

While it is technically illegal for me to publish these online or otherwise, photographers typically don't mind when artists use them for very fast practice like this. Detailed references where you're trying to sell the images is typically where you run into trouble.

Wolf Practice and then it gets weird

I spent most of today working on some commissions (nothing really to show yet except maybe linework) and once I was done with that I took a little time out for practice. Here are some of the stages. Playing with markings is my absolute favorite and that is invariably what happens.  :P

After Eurofurence I'm going to take a big break from cons and just work on my art for its own sake and uploading to Patreon. I know Jasiri likes the spotty cats. What else would you guys like to see?

I'm here in Washington!

I got in the day before yesterday and spent a day getting the animals set up and getting supplies and so on. My things are arriving via truck tomorrow so I will be set up this coming week. I've got a lot of EF art to make for the show and a few commissions to finish before then, so more stuff is coming soon. I still have some backlogged art scheduled to be uploaded over the week so the patreon well won't go dry while I'm setting things up.

Washington is super cool! The drivers are insan...
