Windows 10 has died an ignominious death.

I killed it. The bastard froze on me for the last time. Spent the day reinstalling Windows 7. And gee, Photoshop CC actually works on this machine. I need to tweak all my settings but so far so good, no freezing or crashing or lagging.

08-12-18 Update

I spend a lot of time noodling on my work and not communicating about my work, which I need to do more of, especially for my Patrons.

I've been suffering some excruciating anxiety lately. This is not terribly unsual; it's a thing I've had since my earliest of 20's and it has never been so bad as the few years after it started. So, while not debilitating, it's slowed me down slightly.

What kicked this off? No idea. I have a hunch, actually, that it ratcheted up on account of a spe...

Punchbot and the First Pancake

So I'm going to start making sketchbooks, but I had to get some pretty hefty equipment. Here's the first one, which isn't great, but I was just experiencing how to do it. I still need to get some washi tape for borders and a paper cutter for nice edges on the paper. 

Toonish Human and Quickyote

Semi-realistic human head for comic drawing and such. The eyes are bigger than a normal human's.

Lastly, the wolf quickly tweaked for coyote features: bigger eyes, bigger ears, pointier and more narrow snout. 

Lion Sketches

Kinda boring but a necessary part of learning. @____@  Now, these are copyrighted images off of Google which I wouldn't use for anything but quick practice stuff. It's technically illegal for me to post them (It's legal to USE them so long as they aren't published or sold in anyway) but generally photographers don't mind the quick studies as they are unsalable and done for the purpose of learning. Kind of like how posting fanart is technically illegal but most companies usually don't mind.&...

I made something for myself for painting ref if I need a super specific angle. It's not PERFECT but it's something and I can fill in the gaps with photo refs

Winter Photoshoot day

I was out today gathering photos. As all of you probably know, it's been cold as balls up here in the northeast and a lot of the waterways are frozen enough to walk on.  I was hoping to get some baller photos of our Chapman Falls at the Devil's Hopyard but there was too much snow for a lot of great ice feature. Tree shadow on snow is one of my fav visual elements, though, so I got lots of those. Maybe some icy paintings in the future?? *eyebrow waggles*

Windows 10 is the literal worst. I have wasted over 48 of my personal hours fighting with this awful OS, trying to get ANY of the old intuos drivers not to crash the pen, etc. Every time I think it's fixed some shitty little update comes along that screws everything up again. Gonna try to get 7 come hell or high water. @_@
