I've scheduled the next one to be on the 29th at 5:30pm EST. Let me know if we need to change the time.
We are reading Moon Knight vol. 1 by Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey! One of my personal favorite comic book runs in recent years. The first issue might throw you off a bit, but everything else is really solid stuff. Super quick and easy to read, with lots of action and a ton of beautiful art!

So I know we briefly discussed having the Moon Knight CBC tomorrow, but it totally slipped my mind. Is there any way we could push it back a week to either the 28th or 29th?

You guys voted, and you wanted to see a video about who killed Batman's parents. Well, HERE IT IS!!!
It's also our first sponsored video, so please let me know what you think about all that. Keep in mind that it was my first time doing a sponsored thing where I had to stick to a script they sent over, so it was a little weird reading someone's words that weren't my own. Hopefully future deals will allow me to have more free reign over what I say. But this was the first deal, so I pr...

It's just you and me today! Let's sit down and discuss the convoluted history about how NerdSync got started.
Listen to stories ranging from a middle school experience that made me dislike gamers, the many failed attempts at other podcasts and YouTube channels that came before, and the time we got to interview the world's greatest extra, Jesse Heiman!
Also, please don't look up LMNohComedy on YouTube. Not reverse psychology. I genuinely don't want that stuff to be v...

In case you haven't heard me talk about this before, NerdSync is (potentially) getting sponsors. I just wanted to clear the air about what that means and how that affects you. Give it a listen, and let me know if you have any questions in the comments!

She-Hulk has been breaking the fourth wall ever since John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk run from the late 80s and early 90s. But what does it mean to break the fourth wall, and what can we learn from ancient philosopher Plato's allegory of the cave? Let's find out!

We saw FOX's latest failure at a Fantastic Four film that foreshadows a familiarly fruitless franchise for Marvel's First Family that left us feeling fairly forlorn. But seriously, it wasn't good.
That being said, we're not here to hate on it for an hour of your life. Instead, we humbly offer our suggestions and ideas for how to craft a good Fantastic Four movie.
Should it be live-action or animated? Should it take place in modern day or in the past? Who should the ...

I was hoping to get this up sooner for you all, but it's still over 12 hours in advance. So that's something!
Anyway, this is a pretty science-heavy episode about the Fantastic Four. I hope you enjoy it!
And feel free to comment on the actual YouTube video so you can make everyone else jealous that you got to see it first. Haha

Seriously though, it was one of the best times of my entire life, and I can't wait to go back next year! HUGE thanks to Ricky and Chris Prime for helping us through our first VidCon. And a big thanks to DEFY for making us feel welcome in their VIP lounge.

Hey, we should probably plan for this to be a thing soon. Sorry I basically missed this month. VidCon took a lot out of me. But that must means that we'll be doing two CBCs in August! The first one will be The Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes. Here's the synopsis:
"In PRELUDES & NOCTURNES, an occultist attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life traps her younger brother Dream instead. After his seventy-year imprisonment and eventual escape, Dream, also known as Morph...

Remember when Marvel Studios had first announced that they were planning on making an Ant-Man movie? Remember how weird and kind of lame that sounded to most people? Well, Marvel's marketing of the film has been using some interesting psychological techniques to try and get you on board to watch this movie. And you know, it probably worked!
Tie-Ins are quick and snappy videos that take a look at some fun facts and concepts surrounding comics!

Hank Pym was a founding member of the Avengers as the Marvel superhero, Ant-Man, but most fans might know him as the guy who beat his wife, Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp. Behind the scenes, however, Ant-Man was never intended to become that abusive husband. That infamous moment in the character's history was a complete accident!

It all leads up to the final debate about the comics themselves. Who will win? Who will lose? Will our opinions even matter at all? Probably not!

One of the most recurring debates between comics fans is what character is or isn't a shameless rip-off of another character. Whether it's Marvel vs. DC or vice versa, people can always find some way to attack or defend characters from either side. But honestly, does it even matter? Today, we're taking a look at what it truly means to be "original" and how everything was inspired by something that came before it. So, is it really a big deal when one publisher steals from another?
