Finally, the result of more than two weeks of painting! I wasn't sure until the last moment how it would all look after gluing, but the result exceeded all my expectations! It turned out great! It remains only to find a good place somewhere on the street for a photo shoot, I just don't have a good light at home - the photos are not quite a natural color.

I'll probably finish with her, that's enough. I've done a bunch of draft frames from different angles and with different things. It remains only to wait for full-fledged frames with good quality. And yes, I made a kind of "reptile device", not that I'm an expert, I looked at all sorts of pictures on the Internet and made a kind of collective image of the "device". Even created my own "snake dick shader" haha) Still based on the collective image of everything that happens on the Internet but without frills.
I will make at least three versions of the model for printing, it is clear that they will include, I think. Only one thing does not please me - in which printer will the version without clothes fit at all? It is clear that the dress will help to cut it into details and print it without visible seams, but I couldn't think of anything for the naked version. There was an idea to make the transition from the body to the tail like the little mermaid from that old Disney cartoon, but it will look at least strange.

The stand was made using an acrylic circle that I found at a local online store. This helped me out quite well, and now for this lady the wind are not a hindrance! I hope she gets to the addressee safe and sound.
This version of the stand was inspired by anime figures, which are often equipped with just such a base. And if it seems that in my version it is scratched and muddy, then no. Just on the side of the stones, I did not remove the protective film, so as not to scratch anything ahead of time.

AI "art" often comes across to me in the feed, usually I don't really like such works, they are all of the same type and no longer impress, more annoying. But this work of the gloomy genius who compiled the prompt for the robot directly hooked me. There is everything: a pony, snake, bat and all this with big breasts and maybe something else. Everything is almost ready. The wire and hot glue was removed, the varnish was applied. One problem, I got one bow mixed up. Here is lonely sad near the tail. And the one I painted is needed for the next figure with talkative kirins... That's why I was thinking why is it different :D

I had to wash off almost all the paint from the body, but with the right approach, I managed to achieve a good transition from one color to another without paint streaks. Most of the parts are ready for varnishing, only the largest parts remain. Can't wait to put it all together!

Didn't like the transition between two light colors? Solvent in your hands and go! In general, the problem lay in the visible paint strokes from the brush. This can only be seen with a bright contrasting light from certain angles, but it bothered my eyes so much that I can't look at it, so I decided to partially wash off the paint and redo it. The solution is simple, use a mask for light colors and an airbrush. The dark color is more concealable and requires fewer layers to overlap. Therefore, on a dark transition, this effect with volumetric paint strokes is not visible. This will be a lesson to me.

Finally, the preparation for printing is complete! About 48 million polygons, 830 individual parts of the project were combined into 76 parts for printing. It took some time, some little things were changed to optimize printing. The model turned out to be large, the total height is 32.5 centimeters. Celestia herself is about 23-25 centimeters tall (if she stood straight). Here are 4 variants of the model, they differ only in the number of clothes on the character.
And so, am I happy with the project? I'm not sure, but I think if it's really printed, beautifully colored stones, vines and metal parts, use small artificial leaves and flowers for decoration, it may look impressive.

After spending half a day baking textures, I came up with a much more profitable strategy for rendering. Why would I waste hours of time on something that won't be noticeable on redner? I do the video more as a kind of presentation of the model. So let the procedural shader create all the details and this allowed me to reduce the time to render one frame for animation to 1 minute! Of course, I will make clearer renderings of individual angles, but this quality is enough for video. Making a print model out of it will be something else adventure. It will be necessary to somehow divide this huge stand into parts, while preserving the vine. Of course, the leaves will not be included in the final result, since I think it's too much for 3D printing. It can easily be replaced with fake leaves for dioramas or something similar

Yeah, I went into complicated models very much. It takes a lot of time, and I don't even hope that the result will be worth it. Many little things have not been done here yet, it is necessary to work out the body, fires, hair and so on. I would like to make beautiful camera animations with different angles, but due to the large number of polygons, rendering takes a lot of time, even despite my actions with the optimization of the model grid.
It remains only to do retopology and bake maps of normals and heights, I don't really want to do this, but for a beautiful and fast picture I will have to.

The optimization was done for a reason, the model contains almost 13 million triangles, which is almost on the verge for comfortable work on my PC. Rendering a ten-second video took 11 hours, versus 7-10 days without optimization

Perhaps my first conscious creation and use of normal maps and depth maps for image visualization. It looks worse than when rendering the original highly polygonal model, but it really saves time and computing resources. For example, one picture without optimization with high quality would take about two hours for a highly polygonal model, versus 10 minutes for an optimized model with depth maps.
