Wizard Zine V1 free download

In an effort to have NEW! EXCITING! things to sell at ECCC this year, I'm going hog wild on minicomics and zines. The first one I put together is a collection of all the wizard designs and doodles I've done over the past two or so years, just in case people don't feel like buying 12 whole stickers or small prints. Now they're all together for easy browsing! 

I'm attaching a free download of the zine for all my patrons. Thanks so much for kicking off 2023 with me! :)

RR Sketch Zine: character page

I'll be going to Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) in Seattle this year, but unfortunately the RR Chapter 1 books won't be printed in time for the convention like I'd hoped. So to make up for it, I'm collecting all the supplementary RR art that I've made in the past few years and smushing it all together into a zine! It will be 32 pages worth of sketches, doodles, and illustrations featuring these bozos.

February sticker design

It's that time again! I came up with TWO wizard stickers last month, so I think I'm going to try for a new fish sticker in February! I'm torn between a few options, so please pick your favorite! 

The Pirhana is a cool fish with neat colors and fun teeth! 

The Arapaima is huge and has an interesting red speckling pattern.

Wizard Barn Party: pgs 11-12

This comic was 100% an excuse for me to draw all my favorite things (trees, bushes, more trees, wizards, barns, etc). 

I had a bit of a hard time making the pencils TOO finished and then just REDRAWING THEM AGAIN BUT SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT for inks. It was a very inefficient process but I was just kind of vibing with this project and drawing the things I like! In the future I want pages and projects to happen QUICKER, which probably means I have to stop being so finicky with my art!&nb...

RR Sketches: January 27

Some saucy alien dudes to close out the month! I'm going to be starting work on Chapter 2 next month, and I also have ANOTHER short porn comic featuring different characters in the works as well. That one will be fantasy-themed rather than sci-fi! Evil wizards fucking! YAY!!! 

By the end of 2023 I'm hoping to have something like 90?? pages worth of porn comics finished! Exciting!!

January Wizard #2

A little Valentines wizard! Thank you all so much for your helpful input! I decided to go with F because I liked the idea of softer color-hold wings. Lately I've been trying to get more in touch with this deep, repressed urge to draw extremely cute things. 

Hope this does well at the Valentine's Market! And I hope all of you are having a not-so-dreary January (if possible.) 

Now that I've got some new stickers under my belt I'll be switching back to more RR sketches, so ...

January wizard #2: Which is your favorite??

Hey, is this a BONUS January wizard?? I hope so! I just applied to a local Valentines Day craft fair on a whim and got accepted, so I'm trying to make something sweet and pink to sell. I don't have any pink wizards yet, so...here we are! 

My partner Gannon and I have been in a heavy debate all night over which of these is our favorite, so I thought I'd open it up to outside opinions. Which do you like most? Your feedback is greatly appreciated! :)

We're BACK in January!

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for sticking with me through the "Great Patreon Pause of 2022". As a reminder, I needed to basically stop everything I was doing in order to finish the graphic novel I'd been working on with Ngozi (of Check! Please) for the past few years. The good news is: I ACTUALLY DID THAT! Aside from the normal production process (edits, cover art, etc) all the pages are inked, colored, lettered and ready to go!

Patreon currently on Pause!

Hey everyone! And anyone checking out my page for the first time! 

Last month I paused Patreon so I could focus on finishing up the RR Kickstarter and the graphic novel I've been working on for the past few years. I'm extending the pause through September, and possibly October. Current patrons won't be charged during this time! If you're a new prospective patron looking to pledge, I'd advise waiting a few months until I sort out all this work and have a better idea of my deadlines!...

Softball GN inking update!

RR KICKSTARTER IN JUNE!! (exact dates TBD)

Hey, EXCITING NEWS, EVERYONE! We finally [more or less] have a date for the RR Chapter 1 Kickstarter! I'm pushing VERY HARD for it to happen on June 6th, but the following week, June 13th, is the contingency plan if we need a little more time. Still not sure if it'll be running for 30 or 32 days (which would make the end date July 8th), but like I said, this is ABOUT when the KS will be running. ...

I haven't had much time to draw stuff outside of comics and RR promo recently, so these were really nice to work on! Maybe I'll do some fruit babies in the future??

Veggie Radish baby

Sorry if you're extremely versed in radish varieties, but I decided to mix things up a bit. Normal red radishes are pure red little balls, but there's another kind that's more oblong that fades to white at the bottom. I thought it would be cuter to mix the round shape and the white tummy. NOT A BIG DEAL, this is our little secret, don't tell any farmers.

Some (most??) of you might know that my partner Gannon is a drag queen and we put a lot of time and effort into making looks for miss Vanity Chastain, but I haven't really mentioned that I'm ALSO dipping my toes into drag! I'm going for more Funny Cartoon Alien Man than pure Drag King aesthetic, but I think it still counts???? His name is Dr. Bug 👽🐜✨.
