The next chapter is written but I am fixing some errors. When I first described Thayle's sword I called it glitteroot. First of all I should have named it glitter root. Secondly at some point I started callling it silver rain which was mean to be a sword for Lilly. This just shows how tired I am sometimes while I write. The room was quiet except for the muffled snores of a giant spider sleeping on a pillow. Heather stared at the ceiling, silently scolding herself for eating so many sweets before bed. She tried to convince herself the dream was just that a dream, but she knew it wasn't. Nothing that was happening was at random; instead, it seemed carefully crafted to draw her in. Next Dragon knight

I am 2600 words into the next chapter. I had a great nights sleep, and I have but one other task to do today that isn't writing.  So I am hopeful it will be out later today.

I have decided to share what I have now as a teaser. It is 100% unedited. This is my rough draft before I fix the 200 mistakes I will find later, but I like what it says and how it ends and wanted to share it.  I expect this chapter to swell to closer to 7k words by the time I am done. “That was harder than it needed to be,” Heather sighed as she slumped to the floor in the workshop.  

They spent the better part of a day dragging Legeis's armor through the swamps. Every pest hidden in the mist made an appearance, including a giant crab thing with four claws. As before I am running behind. I am further along than I expected to be, but I will probably be a day late posting the next chapter.  I also managed to get a terrible sliver in one of my fingers and now its painful to type with it. I still manage to type 1800 words, but it hurts.

DKP 5-33 A truth and a lie

Thayle walked boldly down the lane heading for the gates of the city. She decided not to wear her armor or robes of station, and instead slip in unnoticed in a plain dress. She carried her gear in her pack but hoped there would be no need to display them so soon.

Sorry for the delays. The chapter is written fully and through my first couple of editing passes. I am hoping to have it up in a few hours, but every time I say that something comes up and I can't work on it. 

Anyway, its nearly a 10k chapter with a lot of foreshadowing. I like this one much better than the last one, though the last one really help set up a moment in this one.

So I am about 25% done writing the new chapter. I have goals I need to meet for this one, and some conflict to setup.

I will get this up as soon as I can. I am writing in twenty minute runs and taking breaks to let my wrist soothe. It's working but I like to write in long mad dashes of nonstop typing. Anyway, it's coming, sorry for the delay.

Chapter is fully written, I am beginning the clean up of it now. 2-3 hour is my guess, provided I don't take a break to rest my wrists. My wife had a wonderful idea of soaking my hands in water and epsom salts. She added some drops of lavender oil, and some other things as well. I have to say my wrists feel MUCH better now. I have been typing for hours and not feeling the strain until very recently. My left wrist still doesn't like to carry heavy loads, but that doesn't impede typing.  <...

Sorry I haven't gotten Heather up yet. I had today off work so I decided to rest my wrist the days leading up to today and do all the writing today. Dragon knight chapter- Delay

I am sure most of you are aware I shot myself with a nailgun and damaged my left wrist. As of right now I have most of my control back and I wrote 6k words today on the dragon knight. However, I don't expect to be finished with it for another day. So The chapter is delayed, but only for a short while.

 Too bad too, because it is full of Sarah secrets. I have been looking forward to this chapter for awhile now, it marks a turning point in the story.

Heather opened heavy eyes to a dark room. Her vision felt unfocused and slowly came together until she was looking up at red curtains. The only sound in the room was a gentle shrill snore from Webster lying by her feet. A foggy mind labored to remember what happened, how had she gotten here? Her muscles felt slow to respond, almost delayed, as she sat up and looked about a very unfamiliar bedroom.

I was injured st work today and have temporarily lost the use of my left hand.  
Heather is written and I am in the editing but it's going much slower.

Thayle took a deep breath as Sarah headed away from camp, soaring through the sky on mighty wings.  Doubts and worries plagued her mind, reminding her of how delicate the situation was.  Sorry I posted to wrong version of the chapter, and I meant to save it as a draft not publish it.  That chapter has a story line in it I don't want to use. I tend to write my chapters by allowing myself to go where I feel it would go, but that was written to explore an idea I am not going to use. The meeting went on for hours as Gersius organized his command structure. Gams was his second in command and would oversee the day to day operations of the army. He would also organize the forces into fighting units according to how Gersius planned to use them. Alright, some heads up. I am nervous about this chapter, so before I spend hours editing it and cleaning it up, I wanted some feedback. I am going to post it here for you to read and would love to know if this is too sharp a shift in tone, or if it feels right to explore these sorts of things. I will rewrite the chapter if people think this is to dramatic a shift in tone, or you have other issues with it. If people like it I will clean it up and repost it with the proper edits.

So, I am working on a Heather chapter and I see an open door for Quinny and Frank to have a discussion about relationships. Heather looked down in a panic, the fear of falling gripping her heart. The pit was so deep her friends and minions vanished from sight, and soon even the sound of their cries were gone. It was two hours past their usual stopping point when the keep finally came into view. Gersius felt relief to know they would soon be safe, and the grumbling could finally end. As they approached the walls, they passed burn piles, where the bandersooks were stacked and set ablaze. Many still smoldered in the evening light, throwing foul plumes of smoke into the air.
