winter blues

hey all, thought i'd post here since i haven't much lately. it's been a very emotionally challenging winter for both internal and external reasons and i'm doing everything i can to power through it. getting all the Mx5 CDs out was a pretty huge undertaking for me right now, but it's finally out of the way.

i started an EP project, Monarch of Death Rave II, but had it immediately fall by the wayside as any urge to make particularly aggressive music disappeared as quickly as it came to be...

quick update on Mx25!

hey all - the track list for the MEGAx5 5th anniversary edition (aka MEGAx25) has been finalized! not gonna reveal it quite yet, but it'll just be a week or so until i have the promo vid worked out and orders go live! at that point, downloads for all tiers will be available as well.

cost will be $25 (not incl. shipping) as each CD is a handmade mucked-up art project. you can see what it might look like (each one will be completely different) here:

Demon's Nightmare REV.B0013 THE MUSIC AND SOUND

an updated version of the 悪魔の悪夢 / Demon's Nightmare soundtrack. this revision of the soundtrack is patreon exclusive. it's in MP3 format in an attached ZIP.

i've also attached "uLSOUND_files.zip," which contains all of the music in its native Impulse Tracker format. you can open them in OpenMPT or Impulse Tracker or whatever you want.

darius halley - highbeams in the forest fog

this one's about to hit YouTube (probably in a few minutes)

been feeling the need to knock out something laid-back and vibey and can't stop thinking about racing games. the chord-based synth line in this one came first, and the rest of the tune formed fairly effortlessly around it, really focusing the vague mental image i had brewing.
