hey all. i keep saying i hope to get back on track, and then i do for like a week, and then i fall off again and can't get back in the mindset to say "back on track" again for quite a while. i've been thinking about why this might be the case, and i have some ideas.

i mean, aside from depression lol, because that's been a constant for the past year and a bit. though that is the starting point and probably catalyst for all of this.

it's 8PM EST and i'm just waking up. i woke up earlier at 11am to the sound of horrendous construction and as soon as it ended i fell back asleep and my alarm (noon) didn't go off at all.

currently i'm trying to figure out the best approach to things, as tomorrow i'm out for lunch with my parents, and i'll probably be dead asleep after that.

new year, new stream schedule!

hey all! happy new year! let's get right to it now that i'm settling back in after taking a few days off for new years celebrations (and recovery)

the new plan is to have streams rotate, but always at 6PM EST! a number of people have mentioned that Sundays aren't the best choice, so i figured i'd shift it around a bit now. i hope to have them every week as well as long as my health stays on the up and up!

this week's stream is on Tuesday at 6PM EST! then the week after, it will be Wednes...

here's a render of the album (EP?) so far. i'll probably add another track or two. it also includes a sketch from "2014-CURRENT", which will probably be swapped out for something else - i had forgotten i was putting it on this release when i added it to the "2014-CURRENT" tracklist. whooooops.

anyways, enjoy this so far, unless you wanna wait for the album and not spoil yourself.

also, the album title may change upon release, as this isn't quite as much of a concept piece as i thought it...

"Melancholy Passing Into Mania" WIP

started work on this a couple days ago, did some more work in today's stream. coming along well! still work to be done on this one.

i had started this one thinking "TQBF and Klippa would be interesting" - the Klippa doesn't come across as well as i had hoped (half-time percussion and kick drum retriggers standing in for a wonky lowpass filtered bassline) but i still think it's pretty cool. not sure who i'll attribute it to at this point. maybe i'll just leave it as TQBF and Klippa and let peop...
