hey all! thought i'd chime in with some updates, since january is a pretty quiet month aside from some merch stuff.
this week the regular edition of Monarch of Death Rave should be up for order along with the beginning of BANDETTO vinyl preorders! MODR regular edition is $15+shipping, BANDETTO vinyl is $25+shipping.
MODR stuff will go out the week following orders, and the BANDETTO vinyl production will start 1-2 months after preorders. after that it takes about 6-8 weeks to get them mad...

you can find a ZIP attached to this post full of FLAC files for you to play with. i'll be interested to hear what you come up with! there's a ton of stuff in this one. there are a couple parts (the synth prog section and the breakbeat part towards the end) which do not have resources available and were used in their rendered forms. the rest is all in there though.
all audio is at 194 BPM.

here are some more mockups - going to go with transparent vinyl w/ orange splatter. i think it looks pretty fun and drives home the "pool toy" style. as you can see, there are a couple different approximations of how the splatter will look. there's no telling until it's done - that's the fun of splatter, every record will look a little different. it's also very hard to make mockup images of!

anyways: what it says on the tin! ERGOSPHERE and caractere difficile are getting beautiful CD releases to match with FRAMEDRAG's second print run - it's also getting another run. but there's more to it: ERGOSPHERE and caractere difficile got brand new masters. the stereo field is a bit wider, the bass frequencies are rounded out, the highs are really opened up, and the dynamic range has been restored quite a bit overall...

here's something fun - stepcharts for all of Monarch of Death Rave. songs have been trimmed down to 1:30ish because that's the specs i stick to. each chart has all 5 difficulties filled out - beginner, light, standard, heavy, and expert/oni. the expert/oni are all in the 11ish range, but the heavy charts were the ones written first, and the rest were modeled around those. as with all my charts, these are designed for pad play. keyboard is fine, but you're missing out on all the actual fun of the...
