MERCH MAKINGS: More Sonic goods!

Hey, guys! I've got more drafts for upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog goods! Folks have asked if I was planning on a Tails charm, so naturally he's next up on the queue! He'll be available alongside Modern!Sonic, Modern!Knuckles, and Shadow sometime in June.

MERCH MAKINGS: Older Noctis + Older Prompto charm

It's finally complete--the Older Noct/OlderProm charm! This will be a compliment to the previous Noct/Prompto charm I released way back in 2019 and will be a tie-in to the upcoming comic shorts about the two (more on that in a future post as I'm having to rearrange my work schedule *again*)!

I'm currently trying to decide how I want this charm to be done. Do I want double-sided clear acrylic, or do I want a sparkly charm like the previous Noct/Prom charm?

PROGRESS-ISH REPORT, 4/10

So, things have taken a bit of a turn in Really Real Life, and it's definitely going to affect my work schedule for the time being. So, what's the haps? Well, here goes:

My day job has been increasing hours all across the board, and we are also dealing with employee shortages. This means I'm working longer days, and more of them. MERCH MAKINGS: Noct and Prom (30yo version)!

Okay, so after seeing the enthusiasm and response to the resissue of a Noctis and Prompto charm I released in 2019, I'm going through with a design for the both of them at 30! I couldn't resist...!

More details will be coming soon. My goal is to have these go into production sometime in mid-April, with the finished product dropping by May!

Sketch Drop 01

So, I've decided to make it a point to share sketches more often--I haven't forgotten that I promised to collect some of my faves and provide a download for y'all! I'll post about that in the next progress report!

I have a strange obsession with drawing pretty beardy boys and flowers lately. I reallly wanted to share this sketch publicly, but am gonna keep it under wraps until a later time.

MERCH UPDATE: KIRYU STANDEE (COMPLETE SAMPLE!)

Hey, guys! So, I hadn't paid attention to the tracking on the Kiryu standee and SUPRISE; he showed up yesterday! I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with how he turned out! The standee is done up with an LED light, and you can either insert 3 AA Batteries or connect a USB to a battery pack or whatever power source you prefer! The USB cord is a bit short, so I'd say batteries are the way to go.

SURPRISE! I was going to post a progress report about the upcoming Sonic merch, buuuut decided it'd be more fun to spring it on you guys! As you can see, I've wasted no time cooking up a few designs! These will be available as stickers, while running Sonic, Shadow, and Classic!Sonic and Classic!Tails will also be made into charms!

PROGRESS REPORT: 2/20/21

Hey, guys~! It's time for me to updated y'all on what's going on and what content is in the works!

*First and foremost, work on Bandit Revolver has resumed and I am working on rendering the next batch of pages! They should begin dropping in a week. Episode 2 will be closing out, and we'll be starting Episode 3!

*More characters will be shown for Pretty Fierce sometime in early-ish March (between the 6-12).

MERCH MAKINGS: KIRYU KAZUMA STANDEE

Okay, okay, so I couldn't wait to reveal this draft too--another piece of merch I'm working on is a Kiryu Kazuma acrylic standee--that lights up. I thought about "Heat Mode" and thought how cool it would be for that effect to carry over in a piece of merch! So I'm going to work on such a piece! It will be available in limited quantities due to cost, but hopefully the end result will look really cool! I'll share the finished artwork when it's finished!

MERCH MAKINGS: Noctis Standee Draft

Hey, lovelies! So, my day job threw some pocket change at me as "thanks" for making their corporate overlords money, so I've decided to say "screw it!" and make a tiiiiiiny bit of merch! Holy shit, I underestimated these pages.

I thought these would take the usual 10 hours between the two of them, but noooo, combined they took me about twenty-seven hours. This was largely because I wasn't just rendering the background, I was also rendering over thirty background people, each with their own unique styles.

PRETTY FIERCE: NEW CHALLENGERS

Hey, lovelies! It's been a hot minute since the last update about my original comic in the works, "Pretty Fierce", but I have that update I promised in the form of two new characters to join the roster!

First up we have Diana Ren/Ren Jinghua, a frontwoman for a feminist punk rock band and heads up one of the two rivaling street gangs in the story. She is aggressively protective of the people who work in the "seedier" parts of town, and yes, she fights in high heels. ^^;
