I thought these would take the usual 10 hours between the two of them, but noooo, combined they took me about twenty-seven hours. This was largely because I wasn't just rendering the background, I was also rendering over thirty background people, each with their own unique styles.
Were these details necessary? Probably not, but as this comic is taking place in a bustling metropolis, I wanted to illustrate it as such. I just didn't expect it to take so much work, goodness.
The good news is that the rest of this chapter will be taking place in a hotel room so I won't have to worry about rendering so many people!
My goal is going to be to get a new page (or two) posted weekly. Waiting until a certain week to do all my rendering isn't cutting it--I want to get more pages out, but I also want to pace myself so I don't get so burnt out. I should be able to get the next page out next week, fingers crossed!

Good god! All this detail. All the people in the background have totally distinct looks, and there’s the outfits on the mannequins and the perspective! Each panel is like a little window I feel like I am looking through down a 3-dimensional street. It is so cool. And their expressions convey so much. I am very curious about their agreement and what Noct failed to do before and what Luna has in mind for Prompto!
