OIL POLL CHOICES- its big boy szn

been dying to paint a bigger guy in oil so all bigger guys this time around!

None of these are finished drawings, PLEASE choose the one that is not necessarily rendered and painted the best, but which one you maybe like the pose best in and the lighting scenario! They are not all rendered to the same quality, some being better than others.

I will ensure that whatever that gets chosen will be done to the best of my ability which I feel some of these thumbnails don...

I havent drawn an avian anthro in many years, and I think this is only my second time ever doing one, I really like ospreys so I chose to do an osprey! I might make an osprey anthro character in the future.

I hope you guys like her! I need to do some more female characters here and there :3

This will be my last big oil painting for awhile, i want to practice on a bit smaller of canvases (not super small just probably 9x12 and 11x14 inches ranges, maybe more 8x10s as well) and i think painting so big all the time is making me feel a little burnt out on oil which i dont want to feel lol

Wanted to draw one of my favorite birds if I was gonna do an anthro, ospreys are an animal I see and default to calling she for some reason so… lady :3

Royal Lounge final (not varnished) (day 8)

welp after picking at this all day i think im gonna call it done and move onto the next thing, better pics when i can varnish when its dry!

a lotta new faces so figure i mention varnishing makes it so the light hits the surface evenly (no streaks or ugly glare) and also restores blacks and very dark darks to their original state (darks dry lighter with oil and catch light baaad)

Oil kitty Day 6 WIP

Another 9 hour painting day and im DONE for the night lol but since i got through most the tiny details i got a lot done since i can use big brushes for less important stuff…. He might be done even tomorrow but thats if i rlllly push myself i think so two days perhaps we will see

Knocked out some of the hardest things (Face and that particular hand) so happy about that, nothing like spending hours on a hand 😂 only other thing im worried about nailing is the hookah but im sure ill figure it out
