spent the entire day today redoing the left face over and over and over and over until i was happy with it lmao..... its not perfect but its a lot better than the previous WIPs (first two are from todays most recent work)

Our new one is tea kitty! Less choices this time around but stronger ideas. im trying to work on my lighting and colors more. i still havent reached a realism that I yearn for but I think im getting there. So ive scrapped all previous thumbnails and im back to the drawing board. Ive managed to redo best in show in the meantime, our first choice.
there will be 4 choices as usual next month ...

I missed day 1’s WIPs… here is day 3 and day 2 though!
this one especially is gonna look a lot better when varnished, blacks are very streaky and catch lighting weirdly until then 💔 so i will leave a weird angled pic with each wip for this one haha

Today kicked my ass tho, redid the neck like 30 times. Only just got to the shoulder so gonna work on that more tomorrow. Might try and start the other ones face tomorrow as well.
