Weekly Sketch

Hi everyone.

I'm a little late with my first post of the year, my apologies. I've been out and about for other reasons (I'm already seriously considering buying a portable tabletl).

Anyway, here are some black and white contrast practice I did about values and contrast. They were supposed to be quick sketches, but I always end up obsessing over what to cover with black and what not to.

I hope you like them. Also I'll be posting the first poll of the year this week, and I hope to continue finishing or recycling sketches and ideas that I never got around to completing (so they can at least serve as practice).

This month I'm interested in making a drawing with multiple characters from the same show/game (like what I did with Cynthia's drawing) to create a short story.

I added a less obscure version because I couldn't decide which one to post, so I'm adding that extra one. The second one is a sketch I posted before I redrew for this.

I'll post the rest of the winners in a second post, hopefully around this week. However, they'll be somewhat simpler drawings. Perhaps I'll do this poll format a little more oftenor maybe some poll with already made characters to continue their story.

Some may notice that I haven't been posting my own character drawings, and that's because I've been taking that time for the past couple of months to practice drawing again, specifically anatomy and shading, back to the basics. So I don't think my drawing level is bad, but I've felt like taking it a bit further.

Anyway, I'd like to fill that gap with more fanarts and other things that are quicker to finish if I don't have time to post something more complex every month.

Here are my picks. I don't know if only 2 or 3 people liked the comments, but thank you because I used it as a reference for choosing them. XD

This time, since there are more characters, as the title says, multiple choice is enabled, but I would ask that you only vote for the ones you like the most, since I'll only choose them with the most votes.

Whoever has the most votes will be the one whose drawing I'll make the most detailed, and after that, I'll choose a few more characters; as always, I'm not sure how many.

If all goes well, I plan to do something similar next month.

I'm finishing the drawing of Quency, basing it a bit on her animatic. I have a couple more sketches, but I'm saving them for a post where I'll post some backlog of work. I hope you like it.

Well, I have to say I had a hard time finding game characters I wanted to draw. I'll probably ask you for help next month, as I hope to be a little more free next month.

Also, next week I hope to update with more drawings.

I chose the ones I thought were the most popular and haven't made a full drawing for them yet. Just choose the design that you think is prettiest.

With Guard Pearl again.

She tends to be quite unfair to the prisoners, although she sees it as justified, but to anyone other than herself it's seen as simple abuse of authority.

There were some extra images between this one and the previous one, and the one before the previous one, so the order may not be linear.

Thank you so much for the suggestions in the last post. In the end, I chose these slightly different characters to add variety of styles. Most of them have also been requested several times, so I decided to take that into account as well.
