The painting with Velma and Daphne reminded me of that classic Ghostbusters. And behold, it was on TV shortly after. So, why not do a scene from that? I was not really trying to stay too close to the original or do a real portrait of Ms Weaver. I just wanted to do that scene with Sigourney Weaver on the roof but with better make up and better resolution. Because, the make up was overdone and the pics online weren't that good either. Well, it's old of course.

What can I say; it's scorching out there. I had a complex scene in mind with a lot of other people but they all got heat stroke and have been hauled to the emergency room. So, this is how it is. She's a trooper though. Sunblock factor 300 and just a cool personality. She only has to eat that ice cream faster next time.

Especially if she's in my field anyway. I could avoid that if I wanted to, because I can paint pretty much every imaginary person in pretty much any situation really, but I feel I should at least give it a shot. Now, I don't know who nicked the bench but what are friends for. And it doesn't even look off to me. It is pretty difficult to store the music sheets this way, as they're usually found under the seat,  but the playing is secured at least.

Maybe I should do a Grand Piano thing again... ?

Like with many other images I do, Nurse Hatchet didn't want to come alone either. I can tell you already, there will be more. Problem is that group paintings take a while longer than single portraits. But it's nice to have a group of nursess over, so I myself don't mind. I just made more coffee, tea and sandwiches. 😊

One painting rarely comes alone, in case you're new or hadn't noticed yet. And here's another virtuoso at it. The benefits of working digital by the way. In oil I would have to repaint the piano too. Now it's just on a separate layer and it does only need some adjusting.
