I learned it was the late Frank Frazetta's birthday February 9th so I decided to try and paint a Frazetta girl for a change. Not exactly, but at least leaning upon that type. Actually a total remake, extended a lot too, from a painting quite long ago. It takes a lot of time but it's fun, so no harm done 😁 I'm too lazy to go and find the original but it's still in my Deviant art galleries if you're interested in seeing the difference.

Well, there's a page on insta and twitter (monstersholdingb*tches) that has inspired me a couple of times with classic and vintage Beauty and the Beast stuff (remember the Minotaur?) and, despite of being deleted many times, it still comes back every time for 10 years this year. That inspired me once more, to do this celebratory painting.

Ha, as if that theme would ever get old 😁The appeal for me are posture and expressions though. That's actually the reason why I do a lot of beauty and the beast themed stuff as well. That will never get old for me. It gets more defined and even subtle the more I paint it, although many won't see beyond the obvious in any scene. Many do though. Especially here. Lovely when pictures turn out like I intended. This has been in my to-do folder forever and I did not like how it went. Even though it went in multiple directions over time. It lacked spontaneity and playfulness. It was too serious and too static. Now, computers can do that for a scene when they're too conspicuous, but it's much more appealing if they are not that dominant. I finally managed to make something lovely of it (in my perception that is). If you'd look at the original, you would pr...

I only noticed, when posting it first, that I forgot to censor the painting in the back. The backbum so to speak. It just didn't occur to me that that could be against the rules too. But I tracked back, added the jeans and saved it all again in time. Don't I hate that...Yes I do. 😊

Anyway, it was just a rough sketch, to prevent me from forgetting the setup, the blonde was not in there at all yet, but here she is, photobombing like a pro.

Found this one amongst the pile of what I was able to save from the computercrash and thought it was a shame that I didn't finish it. So I did. There's no noode version though which might be the reason why I never finished it in the first place. So, no public version as that's no different from this one, but with more conspicuous text in the extra creditbar. There is an exclusive LARGE version though for higher Tiers!
