More Bunnies (originals)

Any excuse to paint bunnies like this is a good excuse, Right? Well, here they are.

They would be frolicking in the fields too, if it weren't for those heels. It's impossible to frolic in the fields with stiletto's on. So...
I usually don't do high heels in meadows just for that reason but finding bunnies like this there is practically impossible anyway, so why not heels too? :D

Lets keep it simple for a change I thought. Lets try a portrait again of that Dutch actress, Anna Drijver, because the first time did not turn out as I hoped. I even used a photo I found on the web as close reference this time, which I usually only do with commissions when it's required. I usually just use photography by others as guidelines, to see how the face is constructed and make something completely new from it. If you'd google her you'd find the head shot I used for this easily though...

I had to really get to it to get this ready for the first of April. I thought I'd start the month with a real party. It's really beautiful weather at the moment and spring and friskiness is in the air, so what better day for this. Tomorrow it'll get less perfect, colder and  wetter so we're going to enjoy the day. Snacks anyone? :)

The original was probably the first woman of colour I was happy (or should I say; happier) about, but I thought in hindsight that she still didn't look as Nubian as I was aiming for. It's not as easy as it seems. Features are very subtle and they're easy to mess up. I welcomed the fact that she was on the list of requested redo's from my higher Patrons and I got another go at it.  Apart from her facial features almost everything changed a bit, or a whole lot when necessary, and they impr...

l was working on another one too, as the Poll about the theme was pretty clear (sorry, Nay-sayers), but that took way too long, so I digressed all of a sudden, just for kicks and giggles. I'll let you decide which is the Easter Bunny winner when the initial one is done. I hope I'll make it in time for Easter. I should've started sooner. Like with Christmas. I start that in October (I have done Xmas pictures in summer though)  and by Christmas it all comes together.

I don't recall this being one of the suggestions but I am still working on one and did this in between things. Werewolves are always fun (as long as you don't meet one of course). As sort of an intermezzo perhaps :)

Easter Theme?

Should I do beautiful Easter bunnies in tight latex, leather and lace, heels, sheer nylon and all that, or should I stay away from it completely? That holiday is a bit too far on the religious side for me, much more than Xmas, and I'm good without it. But I do like Beauty in bunny outfits for some reason, especially when they're frolicking in the fields with fresh flowers and such. So I can use Easter as an alibi for that. I have done them for Easter past and I am working on a couple more but...

Is it Christmas already? :D It's not even that old but I had to stop working on it at some point, a couple of years ago (2017) because I had some intense commissions to do. I liked it already though, so I posted it as was anyway but it wasn't quite finished yet. This is how it should've been. Finally got around to it again.

That book she's holding isn't empty anymore like it was, and there's more magazines now too. And she's in all of them. That was the idea...

Sunday Morning (XL)

No need for the FB prerelease here as it's been posted here and there in the previous version already. But not like this. I added some background and worked on the main character again a lot too. It is kinda subtle and most of the regular watchers elsewhere might not even be able to tell, but it changed a lot nonetheless. What's more; I thought of some possible next pictures in this mellow story and if I would do them it's not a mellow scene anymore. I should keep that imagination in check......

I thought I'd try and go over the top with the monsters for a change. Sort of like that movie "Goosebumps".
I probably shouldn't have, it is really a whole lot of work. This took me about a week and there are still details I'd work on given the time, but it's not given.  
I like how it turned out though. I like it a lot. I hope you do too.
