Getting a little nippy out there, but this was just a decorative thing I tried. It may be too late to find this for real though (even if you're a water type person) but still...
I have quite some Halloween stuff lined up already for October, but it's a bit too soon for witches and demons. Even for Oktoberfest things, although those might get all cancelled anyway, for Covid reasons. So, here's something else.

I sometimes wonder why I do the things I do and I came to the conclusion that I just like beautiful views. It's as simple as that. The only problem with that is that there are so many views that I find truly stunning, many quite different ones too. I can't record them all on digital canvas, I know that for a fact already, but I can try, and have fun while trying.
Here's another one :)

Your garden should actually look like this in this day and age. A restaurant for insects of all kinds and a feeding ground for insect eaters (like birds, hedgehogs, shrews, bats, swallows and such). Much better than that modern day 'garden' of gravel and stone, looking like a grave site really, for people that don't like to work in the garden at all (or want their kin buried in their garden, I don't know). Sowing these flowerbeds doesn't require much work at all though. It blooms from march/a...

As some of you may know, I'm coming from Heavy Metal music (I still listen to it regularly) which is for a large part depicted in fantasy style, with warriors, dragons, sorcerers and such. Although that's never been a good direction to make a serious living for some reason, even less so with streaming music services taking over from physical music media like vinyl records and cd's, I still can't resist to paint a barbarian warrior or fantasy beast once in a while. By Crom, too bad I can't do ...

This could go several directions. She could be a doctor at an examination, which would mean that she's totally underdressed. Or she's an artist with her model, which also means that she's completely underdressed. Or even a human resources manager, assessing a potential employee. I can't begin to explain the level of inappropriateness in that case. For now she's an artist. Either direction will get much more clear in the covered up version, of course. There'll be some wood in the picture too i...

I advised her strongly to not walk the dog (or whatever that pet is) in that particular stretch of the woods. I think it's haunted or cursed. But noooo...she wouldn't listen.
No trees, pets or people were in any way hurt for the creation of this picture because...well...it's fantasy. :)

When gathering all the files for the French editions of my erotic comic books, called Onliners, I came across a whole bunch of sketches and paintings I did, while I was in the middle of creating the books. Many of which haven't been used or finished. They were spontaneous ideas popping up while working on the stories, and I just wanted to see them in a picture. To celebrate the new editions I'll finish (some of) them that still appeal to me and I'll post them when they're done. Some actually ...

This is a comic I am painting a page for every month. There’s only a rough storyline, that I won’t disclose, to have some guidance, but I try to spontaneously go with the flow otherwise.
It isn’t yet perfect. I paint quickly to not lose momentum and will clean it up when it’s done. I’m not sure how many pages it will be but I’m aiming for a basic 44.
That means it might get a follow up. Or not if I can’t get it printed.
It’s very loos...

When you're wearing this brand you can't just leave it on, when there are good painters, sculptors and/or photographers around that would like to work with you. You have to sign the artistic intent before you buy it.
Actually a redo of an older painting that I liked but not loved. Just because I had to finish it back then in a hurry. It needed tweaking and I finally did work on it some more, which changed it considerably. Now I love it :)

Another really hot day in the Netherlands, so close to autumn, so here's something to hopefully make it just a bit more agreeable.

Covered and uncovered versions after each other to make it a longer lasting experience :)
The last one in this series is actually a remake of an old one I did years ago. The other ones just emerged from that. This could be a massive series as the possibilities are practically endless with a set up like this, but hey, variety is important too.

To just give it a name :D
There's more window cleaners at work but this is the first one I finished. I posted 4 sketches for higher Tiers earlier, and this is the result of one of them, but also the one least looking like the sketch. I couldn't get the original pose to work really. I might very well do that pose some day in a totally different way. It needed rearranging everything though and that was not the idea. This was a background that I could do more with instantly (which I ...
