Barebella page 11

This is a comic I am painting a page for every month. There’s only a rough storyline, that I won’t disclose, to have some guidance, but I try to spontaneously go with the flow otherwise. It isn’t yet perfect. I paint quickly to not lose momentum and will clean it up when it’s done. I’m not sure how many pages it will be but I’m aiming for a basic 44. That means it might get a follow up. Or not if I can’t get it printed.

As usual one blonde ambition does rarely come alone. Here's another one stirring up office tranquility (if there were such a thing). She even found a sheer suit, at least for the Patron version.  Higher Tiers can zoom in further which is always better :D

I did the woman in chains first and I thought about stopping there, because I liked it already but then I had to add a mistress. This makes it a bdsm game going on. Even though these kind of pinups seem to be simple to paint, they are definitely not. To try and get it to look elegant, natural and sensual is a challenge always, because they're always different in some way. I could of course use photographic references as the web is full of them, but I like it much more when it comes from imagination only. Lighting, anatomy and personality just from knowing how it would have to be and trying to get there. It's not the quickest way but much more rewarding f...

I don't know why but those dummies usually look a lot like Chucky, the psycho doll from the movies. It is entirely possible to make them look a lot better but the people making them don't seem to know facial features from a hole in the ground. At least I've never seen those dummies looking good. Even when using cartoonish proportions it can still look much more appealing and less scary. So, in order to keep this more believable I had to follow that template. Sorry about that.

Here's something Fantasy for a change of pace.  The beauty of fantasy paintings is that it usually tells a grander story. I'll let you imagine what that would be. When I paint it, I think of how it started and where it will end, but those thoughts fleet as easy as they come and during the painting process they change a lot too. Mainly because I don't paint them with the intent of following up on it. So, whatever comes to your mind when you see something like this, is as good as my own id...

I like this kind of picture, just because of the contrast between raw power and elegance. Every now and again I'll do one, just for the heck of it. 

In this case it was inspired by a model's selfie on Instagram, but when she didn't respond in reasonable time to my DM message showing it to her, I changed it to someone imaginary. Okay by me, as it wasn't a literal depiction anyway. I just loosely based it on that selfie. It has happened before, be it not too often luckily. It's one o...

Don't you hate it when your cuddly things come to life totally unexpected?
I realise this leans towards those weird comedy movies "Ted" and "Ted2" but big teddybears have that effect nowadays :) I initially thought of her boyfriend standing behind the door with a remote control but this is probably just a bit more weird, which is not at all a bad thing :)
