Hello hello!
This month is a basic set! Been hard at work on more complex sets so I've been taking it easy on these while I work on those.
I've been working towards some mythology themes and the one I'm currently working on is Persephone in two parts. I'm slowly working on a few others as well but I don't have a full concept for them yet. It's been a lot of work as I want to design backdrops and insert little details here and there.

As many of you already know from the discord, I took it easy this month to give myself more time to plan out the coming months. So this month is a lot more toned down and simply me having fun with the camera. I'll talk more about it in the actual post x

Here it is!
You will see repeats from the teasers as I discovered I can batch export instead of one by one. Not that you needed that information, it just makes me very happy.
Anywho, this set took a lot of turns from what I had originally planned. If you had been following the lens uploads, you already know. I had originally planned a ruffled orange backdrop with red/orange makeup. I scrapped all that and I'm really glad I did.

Apologies on the delay! I was having some trouble with a Lightroom update that was causing some crashing.
I also thought I had more shots than this but as it turns out the camera battery was dying and struggling to stabilize the pictures. At least that’s my best guess as to why so many came out over exposed or weirdly blurry when there should be no movement.

For Halloween this year I really wanted to do a vampire. But I couldn’t decide on what kind.
So I did all of the concepts that I came up with.
This first one was inspired by the old school vampire stories like Carmella. I had bought a big cape and other props but in the end I decided to keep them all simple since I wanted to do so many.
The other two (more like one and a half as a puppy got involved) will be out soon!

The quality is shit as I took them on my phone on the fly. I tried to pull them into Lightroom and dress them up but for a spur of the moment shoot I’m pretty pleased.
I’d love to take this look with the actual camera and some red lighting as I think it could look hella cool.

SO my original plan was a fall themed elf. Then that didn't arrive, so I grabbed a set I had planned for October, a Sea Elf/ Nymph (trying to do a lot in October!!!!) and painted my whole body green. It was truly terrible and we didn't notice the blotchy paint until later. 0/10 Don't recommend cheap costume paint. It was over 2 weeks of prop making and testing, and 5 hours of makeup for photos that didn't turn out. Honestly a huge disappointment, but oh well.

This set has been so much fun to edit. The color contrast is so pleasing to me and I hope you all enjoy it.

Here is the first batch. I've included the photo from before so when people search the posts they are all together.
Also you may notice some of my expressions are sad/somber. I referenced a lot of actual paintings and I wanted to embody that with the theme. i.e. the crying pearls and looking down etc. So yes it is an intentional artistic take.
