Teaser/ Edit process

Thought I would show you the editing process on this one.

It's been the most work I've done for a set to date, here's a not so exact breakdown:

- Concept drawings and ordering/buying supplies: 2 weeks

- Building literally just clouds: A little over a week

- Building and troubleshooting the physical set: over a week

- Makeup involving fake tattoos, eyelashes and pearls: 2 hours

- The actual photo shoot: 2 hours plus 15min to reshoot specific shots

- So...

A teaser for you

It’s taken over 2 weeks to build the set, a few hours to sort makeup and costume and it’ll be at least a day to fully edit but here we are.

Some of the shots have to be painted (the blue backdrop only covers half the wall). We shall see how that turns out.

By now you might be able to tell it’s a renaissance theme!!

Hard at work! June update!

Hey hey hey!

I haven’t been missing I swear! When I decided to try and do two sets this month I went into overdrive and have been putting a lot of my energy into the first set (which all the pieces FINALLY arrived for ). Thought I’d give you and idea of what is happening. :)

In other news we are three weeks away from a puppy coming home and my pc has gone bork. It’s a wild busy time.

Here’s what I have so far! There might be a few more photos but these are the best of the bunch I’ve found so far!

Played around with relighting and learned more about Lightroom. Fun times!

Since I still haven’t received parts for the major shoot I wanted to do you may be getting two big shoots next month.

I’m so bored waiting on my set supplies for the set I want to make. I have no idea if it will arrive in time. But I have a strong back up.

So I decided to do another photo test while I internally scream over making clouds out of pillow stuffing (hint).

Even took these with my phone as I didn’t intend to do a full camera test.

Might have more and may do a full set! We shall see!

Before anyone asks - yes I edited the ugly building out. Of all the gorgeous old buildings in this country I live next to one that’s 🤢

LAST DAY OF APRIL REMINDER

Each month there’s seems to be a few people who forget they are a patron and they end up getting charged without knowing or wanting.

Though I can give refunds for this if absolutely need be, it ends up taking ages to process that and for people to get it back. This is also becoming harder for me to do when I pay bills and put this income right back into making more content for the patreon.

Guess who got the package in time! Looks like we are getting the set on time after all (knock on wood)

Oh boy corona?

UPDATE: As of an hour ago the Netherlands just went into lockdown. I'm still learning what this will mean for this month but I will keep you all updated.

It's been a hot minute! After the last set, I took a step back to try and start planning ahead and Houston we may have a problem.

I ordered the next set and even started planning April as well. Ordered stuff here and there and figured for once we would be on time..... Nothing has shipped and loads of shops have closed ...

Feb set progress #4

Oh boy we are really down to the wire.

I’m fully aware of how close to the end of the month we are and boy is this a rush for the finish line.

Been some sewing issues here and there but I won’t know how bad they are until the shoot. Aka, sewing non-stretchy stuff onto very stretchy stuff is a possible big oof but we will see.

Also got a lick of paint on the big heart, just need to clean up the edges now and start set dressing.

February Set Progress #3

As promised here’s the next set progress.

Some of the sewing went a bit smoother until I tried to see plastic flowers. That was another level of hell.

The top is just nearly done, the bottom is still a work in progress, and the massive heart has been cut out and awaits paint.

A lot to go but I’m excited to see how it turns out.

Feb set progress #2

Yes it’s late. I’m obsessed with getting further on this.

Started with sewing the gold ribbon onto the straps every inch or so. Once that was done I moved on to flower arranging.

Turns out sewing massive roses to a padded bra is a bitch but I got one side done. My fingers were stabbed to hell but it’s all tacked on. My next step (hopefully tomorrow) finish the other side. Add detailing. Finish the matching bottoms.

After that the set needs to be cut glued painted and ...

Feb set progress #1

Thought I’d keep you in the loop and show you guys what I’m up to for this months set.

I won’t spill the beans but I’m excited to see how it turns out.

Also yes the mini set for January is still coming. I still have a lot of work to do (editing and release mainly and hope they aren’t blurry). Tax man required all my free time this week. The Dutch IRS are people I want to stay in good graces with :)

Blue sweater part 2!

Finally got through all the photos and here are the last of the blue sweater set!

You know when you look at something from far away it looks fine but then up close you realize it blurry. Big mood. Had dozens of photos for this set end up just slightly off focus.

I still have my mini set to sort through. I know today is technically the end of the month but the mini set will be out tomorrow and probably the day after. Releasing as I edit them has been a lot easier on me and I hope ...

Blue sweater :)

There is still even more to come! I’ve been trying to release as I get them edited, so there’s still more photos to comb through. Been enjoying playing around with the high vivid contrasts for this one as you can probably tell.
