Our intentions of staying here in Virginia City were approximately zero upon planning our Haunted Nevada road trip. We’d decided to start in Reno, make our way to Carson and Genoa (I wanted to visit a restaurant in a pink house in Genoa 🩷), spend 1-2 days in Tonopah, then head home. 35 🩷

Yesterday was my 35th birthday and I am pretty sure I cried more than any other birthday. All happy tears. ☺️

It was a perfect day, exactly how I wanted it to be. Started with hot yoga, then a call with a bestie as I colored my hair, an ice bath, a bit of work, then… one of the most amazing gifts I’ve ever received!

JD spent forever making me this and I am blown away by it.

On The Personal Side

Doing self-shot work with my Sony is so much harder and much more time-consuming, but the quality is just *chefs kiss*! Yay for Halfway!

Through the week, that is. ;)

I used to never look forward to the weekends because I've never had a normal 9-5 gig, but I find myself structuring my work flow a little more Mon-Fri these days. Truth be told, once Wednesday hits, I'm often more sad it came so fast because I rarely get done with all the things I wanted to get done. BUT! I'm working on a schedule so it should get better soon!
