Talkin a bit about my process for visualizing comics, particularly big pages.

Cull is a sassy one. This is very near the end of the dialog in this comic. I want to minimize the amount of "talking head" panels in my comics.

Meet Ruse! Ruse is Cull's operations partner and best friend. He's a veteran operative and has been with the Department of Enforcement and Protection for a very long time.

Hey everyone! I'm gonna be making prints of this cull drawing sometime soon. I've attached the print file so you can print one yourself or even toss it on a shirt if you want. I've changed the next pledge milestone to 'prints for everyone' rather than buttons. Prints are logistically easier to ship, particularly internationally. Here's page 5! Recovery bays in the Department of Enforcement and Protection are pretty sparse. However the medical treatment is extremely effective, as the DEP wants to get their operatives back into the field as soon as possible.

I really love splash pages. Originally this page was meant to be separated into panels. I thought it would be neat to make it one big image instead. I think it makes it seem more surreal that way.

Page 2 of the first full issue of Cull! In case you don't know i'm drawing the whole thing in pencil. I only use photoshop to adjust the levels to give it that deep contrast. Let me know if you have any other questions and as always thank you for your support!

Here all all the thumbnails for the first full issue of CULL (in the attached .zip file.) Obviously there's gonna be spoilers. I changed my method for thumbnailing partway through. I started using different colors to indicate different character's dialog so it would make more sense at a glance. 

Sorry for the lack of posts lately! Life has been throwing me quite the curveball. I'm getting back in the saddle though, so you should have a lot of cool stuff to look forward to in the near futu...
