A lot of different cultures have snake people, and although I used the Indian word for their mythological snake deities, really I wasn't sticking very closely to any culture's mythos. Thanks everyone for all you support every month!!
Last month I reached the $666 goal, which means that all patrons get a monthly pin up! I'll keep this up for every month that this goal is reached.
So.. I'm usually going to do a single character in these illustrations, but for the first month I thought it'd be fun to do one with a boy and a girl monster. :3
I'm also going to take this opportunity to say a few things about what to expect from these pinups.

Had a LOT of fun working on this one... the background was a little tough but my love for retro looking laundrettes spurred me on (among other things lmao)
I've been trying to get some more practice doing these backdrop style backgrounds for these wallpapers... it's really fun but I feel like I have a long way to go.. so look forward to seeing more in the future I guess!
