She looked at her casted little legs, bending knee and moving it up and down. The feeling is so different as used to be. Imagine the feeling of her stumps contacting the socket of the prosthetic legs. Oh God, she can’t wait for that moment.

Her stumps are healing, although she can’t see the or touch them for now. The phantom pain is getting better, she can’t wait for the day when the doctor cut them out and free her fresh stumps.

This is an answer to one of our followers requests, a new amputee with fibreglass casts on her stumps. She is still recovering from her surgery and dealing with a lot of post surgery issues, mentally and physically. I am not sure if I depicted the right image as suggested. Please leave your comments.
