Giving the sketchbook a bit more love. The pencil Ive been using as you can see is about to kick the bucket. Been 13 years with this mechanical pencil and hard to let it go. Had to tape the holding area because it was falling apart!
With these pages I wanted to play with some facial angles, poses, and scenes.

Ive forgotten how long armor takes to draw! I noodle on the armor for a bit, then look at the time and think, "dang, that long?!" haha. Still some more details to add in there.

Testing it out in Medibang this time. Medibang is probably the most like photoshop out of the three apps Ive used. This app seemed to react to my hand more than the others as you can see in the attached timelapse vid. Usually I rest the side of my palm on the screen before putting the pen down so it kept making a straight line from my palm to the pen. Midway, I realized in this app, I need to make sure the pen is hovering the screen before I rest my hand on it so it rejects my had.

Recently got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S-pen. Testing out drawing in Infinite Painter for Android. Im digging it so far though the app is a bit buggy. Ill have to mess around with some others. Might do a review of the tablet once I get more used to it. Recorded the screen so Ill post a timelapse on all my sites today.

I apologize for the lack of updates this month. With Jump Tanks taking up most of my time outside of work, Ive also come in close to my Bakumatsu Engi deadline which is in three days. Still have 4 out of 6 characters to finish!
