Back in my Naruto days I shipped Kaori with Kankuro. They both started off not liking each other and butting heads, and then growing up and appreciating each other's style and sense of humor.

Krogan Fashion (Jorgal and Nakmor)

A tumblr fan event is going on this month which is about sharing art and writing about alien fashion in mass effect. Not a zone, just a thing for fans to have fun with. There was a serious lack of krogan content so YOU KNOW ME. The first week's theme was casual outfits so I was making up some casual looks for Jorgal and Nakmor clans

Beyond the Citadel Zine piece

A couple of months a go I had the privilege to participate in a Mass Effect zine that showcased Non-council races. So of course I had to draw something krogan related. The zine has been out for a while now so I thought it would be okay to post the finished piece  here.

The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy! I was focused on the week of SGDQ, which reached three million dollars for charity! YEAH! Then fourth of july weekend and topped off with a wedding in the family.

Game Gyaru

The counter piece to the Game Grumps one, of their anime personas, Arina and Daniella! This makes me miss doing large works with marker (I need to get more markers!) But yeah I wanted to scan and post them because I'll be giving these away!

One of two finished pieces for the GG live show. Both took me 15 hours to complete PHEW! It was a while since I did a project like this with markers, and all the detail but it was fun (and my first time drawing Danny and Arin so I worked the most on finding a style)

You're a Sunflower

I always wanted to draw my characters surrounded by flowers that represented their personalities, but in the end I never had time or energy to put work in huge projects. But I did a messy paint doodle of Branka surrounded by sunflowers!

I've been a fan of the Moomin franchise/series/books for a while now but only recently started doodling them. This was mostly practice featuring a random moomin, and a design of a moomin ancestor (I saw the little guy and fell in love with him omg)

I'll have to find some old pics of the family. Korr used to have a long braid but that was before I added Toma and Celipa to the family tree. I thought it would be fitting to make him look like those two. I'm still not sure about Zeta. To me she still looks too generic, ...

Ive been dealing with a cold-turned-sinus infection for the past week so I haven't had much energy to draw. I'm uploading all that I have so far. And lately I've been working on my character, Agra! With her slight design tweaks I'm working on how to draw her again, and sketching out notes. In her story, Celipa is her grandmother so I was using her design as a base.

If Branka were from DBZ

After watching Dragonball Super: Broly I started getting back into sketching my dbz ocs and then I thought "what would my krogan characters look like in the db universe?"

so here are some rough sketches of Branka. Should she be a human or a saiyan, or maybe turn her into my own dbz alien race that mirrors the krogan? Another warrior race like the saiyans! >:O!!!

It's been a while since I drew these girls and oooof you can tell

I've been trying to get out of this art funk for a long time. I have ideas, but every time I set pencil to paper this feeling of "MEH" comes over me, and working on anything doesn't seem fun. IT SUCKS

I'm also postponing doodle sessions too >>; "I'll draw later today, no its good I can draw tonight, oh snap when did it become 3am I gotta sleep, I'll draw tomorrow"

More TLK practice and with gouache paint! I'm discovering that I really like gouache. You can use it like watercolors or lay it on thicker like oil or acrylic paints!

I'm not too brave to experiment with the latter techniques yet so I was doing some watercolor washes

Lions!

I've been on this TLK high after the "live action" trailer dropped. TLK was a big part of my childhood. As a kid I was super into drawing animals, and lions were my favorite and then this movie came out and I was in heaven. I remember practicing my butt off to copy the style, and I was also bullied by kids who made fun of me for not drawing anything else. But poo on them!

And thanks to kid me, because jumping back into this felt easy and familiar. Could always use the practice still tho...
