Shermie vs. R Mika PSD

Here's the PSD for the image! It's quite a puzzle lol, with some pose variations, crop lines, background elements, references, and perspective grids to kind of give you an insight on the process. I probably did quite a handful of things the long way for sure, but I guess it's extra detail and information now.

Sorry that this took a while, I ended up getting a bit too ambitious with this pic in all aspects, both in variations as well as the background. I've put all elements up here, and I'll organize the PSD and upload that by today as well.

Leona process videos and PSD

I was away from the desktop for a couple of days, so did a few extra images on the ipad recently.

Was too hype from the recent Leona trailer, I ended up doing a few colored drawings of her anyway~! 

I figure I could share higher res versions of them on the Patreon here. I'll post the process videos and PSD files in a follow-up post as well.

Making progress on the image, I figure I could show a quick WIP here.

I also ended up adding a full body for Shermie here as well, since it'd be a Shermie-centric pic now too, and some variations on the arm positions.

I apologize if the video comes out kind of weird, on Windows Media Player, the first few minutes are kinda jacked, and in VLC it's squished the entire way through orz. I think it's because I changed the canvas size part way through, the video recording gets kinda weird in cases like that.

Just a heads up,  I'm making progress on the Shermie illustration! 

Though, in the meantime, I also had this second Michiko and Hatchin pic that was close to completion. I figured I could finish it up to share as well. Higher res than the public version ~

My plan is to finish this WIP from last time as the main illustration. I guess I'm sort of doing the order in reverse this time, in that I'll finish these images first, then I'll do some additional sketches afterwards.

Also, I compiled some of the existing drawings from the other entrants for fun / to give you an idea of what the other images might be like. It's kind of funny, the Shermie vs. R. Mika one almost ...

Something I was working on for Mother's Day! I guess it's off by a few days, but wanted to post it anyway. Plus, I liked having an excuse to try drawing Michiko again. I have another one in progress, which I'll post later on.

Got some mileage out of this pose haha. The difference between victory and defeat!  Reiko gets Mika locked into a surfboard stretch!

Revisited the concepts from a couple of older Mika drawings. (At the end of this set)

Played around with the crop for the Reiko part as well.

It was Tifa's birthday yesterday, which as good an excuse as any to draw more of her! So here's a quick drawing of her. 

Tried out drawing some of her other outfits too. I think this is my first time coloring her mature dress, and the cowgirl one.

Here's the completed illustration for this month. I went with this one for now, as it got a handful of requests. There are variations too.

The PSD is sort of a mess, so I'll organize it and upload that in the next post, along with the full set of variants and some videos.

I'll try to do the other pics too, but at least now it won't be constrained by the month deadline.

R. Mika sketches !

Whew.. ! Cutting it a bit close this month, but I should be able to get it done on time. I got a bit carried away with a bunch of sketch ideas, so I apologize for the delays in general.  m(_)m It was a bit too fun working on some of these layouts haha.

I think I have an idea which ones I might narrow down to, but I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on which of these illustrations you'd like to see to completion! I'll factor that in my choice.

R. Mika wins the poll !

Thank you to everybody who voted! The results were actually incredibly close, with R. Mika winning, but only by 1 vote. I could have technically made it a 4-way tie for first place by adding a vote to all of the second place entries, but I suppose that would kind of negate the point of a poll lol. The others that came in close second were Chun-Li, Juri, and Menat.

April Patreon Poll: Street Fighter!

I'm glad to have seen the spring SFV update recently, since I was thinking of running this poll for April. The timing worked out pretty nicely.

A lot of choices here! (And yeah, I did end up not including everyone, but these are probably my top picks personally anyway~)

Smash Bunnies Ultimate Fighter Pass

Whew, this one was a bit of a doozy lol, but lots of variations and details came from it too. Updated the Smash Bunnies pic from last year, with the new characters since last Easter. (Also added regular Samus too, since ZSS was in the last one, I hadn't added her, but it seemed like she should be, I suppose lol)

I apologize for the glitchy nature of the start on the two main videos, you might have to skip a few minutes ahead to get to the main part- the first part can be found in the shorter initial clip. I think Procreate kinda glitched out because of the canvas size adjustment.

Bonus Big-Hat illustrations~

While I'm currently working on more stuff for the monstergirl wrestling idea, I figured as a bit of a last minute addition for this month's theme of big hat characters, I could get some of the Night's Knight witch characters featured in some form. Here are a couple of illustrations of Wick Witch and Knight Witch, plus several recent sketches I have on hand as well~
