It was INCREDIBLY close between Bae Wulf and Crimson Mask Koujin this time!

Here are the poll results! Bae Wulf won by like .. 3 points. Just a few votes in the Spectator Tier was the winning decision. Every vote counts!

Also, I have a few ideas for which Bae Wulf sketch to take to completion, BUT I am often indecisive and always like to hear your preferences as well! I have these 5 I am thinking about, but also the entire Bae Wulf set has others that interest me as well. In the attached zip file here, which sketch would you like to see completed?

I apologize for the delayed response. Apparently free time means I get ambitious. I have an event at the end of the month that focuses on presenting one's original ideas / personal projects. I was trying to put a new UMA book together centered around the La Nina vs Octavia fight! Despite semi-crunching for it, I wasn't quite able to get it together on time, but it's what I've been locked onto for the past week and a half. However, as a result, I have some things to share from that! I'll post something about it soon, too. And yeah, while it's not going to be ready on time for the event, I will have the book assembled soon either way!

I kind of like the poll here and it was a bit if a tough choice. I'm still mulling over next month's poll, would you be interested in this poll again, but maybe with Bae Wulf swapped out with another character?

Or, I have a couple of other ideas. It starts to feel silly to do a poll for the poll though, so I'm not going to quite do that haha. Just curious if a repeat of a poll is ok or would prefer something different.

Once More Again !

Morrigan absolutely DESTROYED this poll with a total score of 151, more than double the others! In retrospect, it makes sense- has definitely been fun seeing her, Lilith, Darkstalkers, and Marvel vs Capcom all trending on social media in general, plus Evo happening right now as well~

I have a lot of Fiona sketches to share here, both relatively recent and from back in the day. It took a little bit of digging around the archives to find the PSD of this first image, and I basically missed my window of time to make the update last week as a result orz.

(I came back from Socal Gaming Expo last weekend and the chain reaction of catching up afterwards + getting ready for Anime Expo and SDCC has kept me a bit locked up. I'll make a Socal Gaming Expo commissions post sometime soon, though!)

BUT, I'm glad to be able to share a higher res version + variants now! I might colorize this one in addition to whichever image I take to illustration for this month.

Working Out the World of UMA!

Been poking at a lot world-building, sequential practice, and character designs for UMA lately.

I figured that before UMA(y) ends, I could post something~ (don't worry, more UMA stuff to show still in June, too!)

It's been a bit busy this month. I have a lot of art I'd like to share, but I tend to prepare things in waves, so it might be a bunch very soon!

It's been a crazy week, but I've been working on the Frauleinstein illustration between my other tasks, making progress on ended up succumbing to the temptation of making a few more sketches along the way haha.. so I'll try to see if I can get those to a presentable state when it's all ready to show.

In the meantime, I figured I could share some really fun UMA (and Sword Slime) related content for now~ it's actually photos I took of a WONDERFUL Admirable Octavia figure made by the incredibly talented Nazteroids !!

While I'm posting this in the context of this UMA-themed month, what spurred this post was also this beautiful sexy cool Dr. Bedsyde figure too- so I've included images of that in this post.

But yeah, for real, check out Nazteroid's work in general, does some excellent stuff, of all sorts of characters, both fan and OC, really inspiring!

Fräuleinstein Steals the Show!!!

The spooky superstar is ready to spar!

The results were close, with some honest-to-goodness ties in there! But in the end, the champion is the movie star, model, and idol turned wrestler, Fräuleinstein!

Close runner ups include the haunting heroine Crimson Mask Koujin, the dreadful La Niña, ultimate underdog Bae Wulf, and the, it's in her name, Admirable Octavia! Wait, didn't Bae beat Octavia in the poll!? Well... guess you can't win them all...

Here's the sketch I'll take to completion- more to come if I can manage my time well this month.

Even though we are getting to the final stretch of the voting period, I figure I should share these, if it helps influence any elements.

Regardless of the results, I might compile a more proper introduction to some of the newer / less defined contestants in a follow-up post.

Recent Gift Arts / Art Trades~!

(I guess by recent, I mean anywhere from .. November to February..ish? But yeah! Been meaning to share a bunch of these really fun gift arts I got and some art trades I did. Might as well fit one more post in before the month's end~

A couple of these were part of care packages to Gingrjoke and Snowcie for letting me post fanart of their characters in From Scratch 5. Some were gifts I'd been meaning to send to Nelnal for a wonderful Octavia gift from a few years ago. The others of these are from hanging out with Colo and Chunkeeh when they were in town hanging out. That was a lot of fun, doing art exchanges while hanging out at the mall. It's kinda nostalgic haha~

Liz has been inducted into the Spiral Club once again!

I added colors to this drawing I did of Gingrjoke's character, Liz! Specifically, hypnotized as part of ZephyrGale's Spiral Club series. I just had to include the source inpsiration pic from Gingrjoke too, it's just too damn hot !! 👀 I swear I'm the one getting hypnotized here by those lips haha~

I absolutely love Nelnal's character designs. When I bought their first book a few years ago, they included a WONDERFUL shikishi board drawing of Admirable Octavia!! It was so good!

Ever since then, I wanted to return the favor and send them something back! Finally got around to that. Nelnal's characters are fun to draw, it's hard to choose a favorite.

Wowowowow!!!!! Check out this SEXY CUTE COOL Fallout drawing from Colo!!!! This was from when Colo and Chunkeeh and I were hanging out in the mall doing some art trades. A lot of fun~ I drew Callie and Marie in workout attire for Colo, and also some Rebecca art from an earlier hangout.
