We got ourselves a Bae Wulf hat trick, three in a row! Speaking of tricks, looks like Advocate is expecting Bae Wulf to show hers today!

Easter's a bit early this year, but I'm always down for an excuse for some bunnygirls!

I don't think I've posted these images before- mostly because I was trying to finish the main one first. But, I figure I could share the WIP too, and finish this in the near future.

That'd just simply mean more bunnygirl action to look forward to in the future as well!

Another post I've been meaning to make! The last convention I was at was MAGFest in the east coast. Though.. bonus pics! She saw a sketch of Candy Cane from Rumble Roses in one of my recent artbooks, and we got talking about that character, Rumble Roses, and Canadian characters in video games in general haha- I ended up requesting a Candy Cane drawing as well~

Very fun! Love the playful expression and perspective in the pose- always a fun thing to do with striped / belt'd stockings/boots!

And some fun thumbnails on napkins- I found them incredibly charming (love that Fallout one!) and ended up scanning them too ~

Mine was last month ! I'm finally getting around to showing off the AMAZING gifts I got during that time. I'm really grateful for them and have been dying to make this post- it's just other things got in front in terms of priorities. But before the month ends, I wanted to share these~

I really want to do Angel and Sophitia next!! But, first, I have to get ready for Wondercon.. so I'll be doing some illustrations for that first, if I can.

WIP Previews for March Poll Decision Making~

(I'm posting this first right before posting the polls, so that I can link to it in the poll posts!)

This month's theme is fighting game ladies birthdays in March! It's a bit specific.. but oddly overlaps with a LOT of characters I have drawn before, including a very specific one too haha.

As such, it's a good opportunity to revisit some WIPs from before (or I get tempted to draw new things again anyway, we'll see!) [ignore the numbers, a lot of these are from previous sets too, and I didn't re-label them this time.]

I figure it's a good idea to post what there is so far too, if it helps influence any decisions.

There weren't as many WIPs for Chun-li (apparently most pics of her that I draw, I end up finishing lol) aside from one where Juri hijacks the pic lol and there weren't really any for Filia, but I figured I'd share some recent commissions of her I did. Though the one vs. Venom would be a fun one to color, for example.

Sorry that things were so last minute this time- the later half of this month's schedule going through March is a bit hectic. But also, I've kinda gotten really into sketching in my new iPad lately now that I've figured out how to get used to it, and it's a double edged sword- I've been doing a lot of sketches, but going into completing them is technically a tangent from the main monthly illustration.

I also want to share those for sure, so I'll try to make some time to organize and present those too~

In the meantime, before I'm too late even for PST, I wanted to post the main version of this month's illustration.

I'm going to do the variants next! Stay tuned for that~

The Fox Came from the Woods issue 3 alternate cover! Less than a week left!

The Kickstarter Campaign for issue 3 of  NIWIndustries 's comic, The Fox Came from the Woods, is less than a week away from concluding! They are almost at the second stretch goal! Let's see if we can give it a final boost before the end!

The Fox Came from the Woods issue 3 Alternate Cover !

Less than a week remains in the Kickstarter campaign for issue 3 of NIWIndustries 's comic, The Fox Came from the Woods! Like the previous issues, I did an alternate cover!

I figure it's insightful and hopefully interesting to show some of the sketches/ alternate layouts and process into the completed image!

The campaign hit its main goal, but there are a few fun stretch goals along the way! They are almost at the second one. Maybe it can be attained in this final week of the campaign~ Only 5 days left!

Also, NIWIndustries is doing streaming sessions of work on the comic pages, so that would be something cool to check out, too!

February Holiday Post! (Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day!)

Combined a couple of posts, since I have a few holiday-themed images for February!

Seemed like a good of an excuse as any to try a quick Elphelt Valentine drawing!

Also, I did a Golden Kamuy Valentine's Day card inside joke for a friend  hahah~! 

The other set of images are something I was trying to put together for Lunar New Year, but it's kind of it's own UMA related thing anyway.

I ended up designing a dragon girl, of which I hadn't quite done yet for the UMA, as an opponent for Maki. Though, there would be an entire Chinatown faction in general, of which she'd most likely be the leader of. It's kind of a fun idea to expand upon.

Named her Zenzhu (pearl) (for now. subject to change)

The first image in this set is a highly stylized dragon screw leg whip

I was in the middle of a cleaned up version of the image but wasn't able to get it quite on time, plus I am not entirely satisfied with the loss of energy from the sketch, so I might try to approach it again later. For now, I figure I'll just show the W(h)IP

I also figured it'd be fun to show the sketch process I went through to reach this design.

Another attack idea was a signature move for her "Drag 'n Drop" haha where she drags their face across the ring until they reach the edge and she tosses them outside the ring. Mostly wanted a composition where she's dragging Maki's face across the mat.

The last one in this set was another recent one, where she's doing a dragon sleeper hold on Maki ! (Can you tell what moves I was choosing to do with her haha)

Threw in an extra Elphelt sketch and the raw ipad file in to loop things around!

Frauleinstein and Freya Bonus Update! (PSDs, videos, extra set!)

I forgot a tentacle variant on Freya's image set, plus the full version of the new images from the previous set. Also, used the images to make a tentacle narrative for fun haha.

Plus! I hadn't made the PSD and video files for the Frauleinstein UMA images yet, of which there were a lot this time! 

I figured I'd combine both updates into this post. Check it out!

February's Final Poll Results! Freya is First!

An incredibly close match between Freya and Fallout, but the bikini-clad warrior comes out on top! 

It was so close, in fact, that at least for this part of the process, I figure I'd share the sketches for both of them!

Originally, I was going to just use existing sketches to work from, but I ended up making a batch of new ones as well anyway. You can see the new ones in this post, as well as the attached zip files. The zip files also include the old ones I was thinking of as well.

They are all numbered, both new and old. I am trying to decide which Freya illustration to go with. Feel free to let me know your preferences! I have a few that stand out to me, but I'm curious how much our opinions synch up! Also, I tried to line them up in a way to tell a sort of narrative / sequence whenever doable. I hope you enjoy that as well m(_)m

Frauleinstein's UMA guest appearance!

Last month's Discord art challenge was a fun one! It involved drawing your OC as a UMA wrestler! Some really great entries in there. Funnily enough, I wanted to participate too, having Frauleinstein making her idol wrestler debut!

In the setting of the UMA, Frauleinstein's story is a movie, and she herself an actress / idol of sorts. But it looks like she's putting a lot of work into giving a good show in the ring, too!

I had a few images I wanted to complete, but I gotta continue with the to-do list for now. I'll revisit this eventually!
