Now it doesn't look like much, but putting masking tape in precise area is probably my least favorite thing to do!

Didn't take photos of every steps because I wasn't sure it would work:
- I painted them black with spray
- Hid the gums with masking tape
- painted acrylic white with airbrush (I will tell you why not oil spray can)
- removed the masking tape, you then will have a little mess of paint in parts at the seam
- but since I did it with acrylic I can scratch it ou...

Refined wig

The first time I worked on this, I had nothing except low quality screenshots.
So I refined the wig last week to my latest references.
And now it is the way I wanted it!

Worth the struggle to sit and redo parts I absolutely did not want to redo but I did anyway because I can't overlook it. Try to understand me, I just mentally couldn't let it go.

I'm happy now!

The challenge ahead is to put it on without messing it up.

And some more progress! New fabric is more comfortable and definitely drapes better! Plus new pockets fabric, I like this color much more ( I used the same fabric for Sniper Wolf but in nice tan color)!

This belt is falling apart ( faux leather we used didn't stand the test of time) so it's being redone too! Thankfully we have almost a leather shop in our closet 😎
Finally the top part does not feel like corset 😂

This one I added a hairline and some handmade extensions and I added hair to the front as well because it was too thin or too short.

Wig from amazon aren't bad at all!! Same fiber as arda without a doubt.

Assembling

Precious boy, you are giving me not the easiest task ever!

Sometimes the most challenging is to brain how to assemble to be practical and solid. How to attach it, how to make it flexible, how to have some movement. How does it move in the game.
Also I had to be extra precise to not to break the ribs.

He is also built a little comparable to Quasimodo. So he has a very forward neck and bent frame.
Is he going to fall on his face, who knows, surprise me.

The new head is coming along so well!
It's so much lighter and it is also open inside so I can paint the mouth easier.

Meanwhile a bunch of bones are in the shed
It took me 8 hours straight to polish them and now they are up for another layer of primer. With this weather it dries so slow. 💦
