It's a long story and not an easy one, not the beautiful fairy tale we wish it was. We were looking for a home so we could expand and do more cosplays. Our apartment was too small to continue making cosplay. As you all know I've been working on a kitchen counter for years. Not only that but we had deranged and creepy neighbors and we had to have cameras to protect ourselves. It felt unsafe and unwelcoming.
So there was no doubt, we had to find a home. Since the pandemic, prices of hous...

Since we are redoing the jacket ( we found gorgeous purple, much prettier from the one we used in the past! ) a small closeup of new straps! I found a very nice way of making triangle edges, I will record small tutorial for you soon ✨
Maybe will redo the skirt-strap if I feel like being mean to myself...

I snapped a few pictures while working.
I don't think I took pictures of all the work I did on Tifa. Lots of steps and there was a lot to do, small details that goes unnoticed : )
Good news this month is the last month that I will be working in the kitchen. The last couple of weeks before we move out!

Some big jump of progress because I haven't been posting them ;)
Sanding and base coats are such a boring long process that I waited to have more to show you.
I still have more to do, we're approaching the end of this! Tifa has so many accessories! And they are not all in there yet.
This month we will have a full geared Tifa. :)
And a new glove armor for Cloud to replace the old one.

This wig used to be very short in the back and sides. With the delicate added hair, I rebuilt this to a new type of wig to a more boyish mushroom style like 9S has.
Short wigs usually look more simple but, it's absolutely not simple at all. They can look bulky on your head if you don't trim them properly. I often remove a lot of the bulkiness from under the wig and useless part of the net such as the thick short sidings that I later replace with thin longer sidings.

Officially, 9S and 2B are finished. So there will be a great load of prop pictures incoming.
Boots based shown in earlier post. Looks nothing alike. ; ) Such a clean transformation
Buckles are modeled by me to be exact like the ones in the game. Leather belts all handmade. Stitching and painting.

I figured out the bottom part immediately but the calf was a bit of a tricky one!
The amount of needles stuck in my body parts with those shoes is ridiculous ( very hard leather to hand stitch so sometimes the needle would slip up and just... yeah)
But they look pretty, so worth it ✨
