True coloring and tape when it's the real thing.
I made the version that is damaged after it gets shot by Rufus.

Little update on 2B and 9S swords, I had some issues with painting the blades these pasts weeks because of the heatwaves. One of the sword even bent!! Ah, no rest for the wicked.

We spent all night on making photos and videos ;)

The bottom of the skirt is freaking not happening without separating! Game physics...I tried every shape, every pattern I could, but it's just nah. Thankfully this will be in black so the line should be almost invisible!
Puffy sleeves are LOVE! I will be posting photo tutorial how I made it from simple base sleeve to puffy! If you are interested ;3
Sleeve look flimsy on mannequin but I did not secured the stitches! In the final form it will be nicely gathered!

On a test run, I didn't like how it moved so much, was not comfortable and was off white.
Tried to get pure white bandages...ended up with 3 kinds that are nowhere close to white 😂
So..decided to make my own from fabric we already had ( thank you, Nier!). Ended up cutting stripes for almost 3 hours. Worth it, it is not terrible to put on and it looks good! Hand stitched it to the fabric under for least movement!

Yesterday we indeed did something very special : a test run together of Nier and Kainé!
It was very hard, we need help next time to try and make any photos together, because those costumes are very complex and it's hard to help each other: but we have some good memories from 1 am laughs ( we started at 3 pm getting ready, and this time on my side things went the wrong way!)
And, oh god, we outgrown this apartment for cosplay - there is absolutely no space to make photos. ( ；∀...
I finally finished the wig wall!

Been having good weather until today, so I've been catching up with Kadaj, Lightning and these other two. Don't have worthy photos of all of them yet. But everyday there are big progress. I'm being meticulous :))

Remember we're making a wig wall so we can hang all the wigs on the same wall.
We just found these very sweet concrete panels!
Now we just need to make more wig holders!

If you remember we ran into some trouble with the Griffon claws and I didn't like it from latex so instead I sculpted a version of it in 3D. Then we realized that casting and molding them from silicone wasn't great either. Because when latex bend it looks odd and stretched out. The wires were not strong enough, it was messy.
In the end I am hard to satisfy so I threw them all in the garbage!
The project was on stand by and I had no more ideas.
So today, I decided to reuse my ...
Perhaps other people don't know, but my friends, you do know that every single spike on this wig is precisely meant to be there and not random. Every piece of hair is where they should be.
Looks exhausting? Well it is :))) but ain't gonna stop me!

From moving the whole parting to the other side, making the wig smaller ( cutting in the back and sewing together, I have a small head for Arda wigs ╥﹏╥ ) to cutting and styling! I didn't took much photos of it as I styled it on my head ( wig head does not have accurate face lenght etc to be 100% sure there does hair falls!)
Ended up much nicer than I anticipated!
This time I styled the wig - natural hair are my wigs to style, Kuja takes care of the funky spikes and anti grav...
Moka takes care that I cut it properly! ✨

I need longer shoes ( those are my Eva shoes) and that's it 💜 just a wig to style!
My harness flipped in the back and I didn't notice!
And finished ✨ went smooth and I'm satisfied how it looks like!
and I don't have to run to mirror every 5 minutes to test it so this mannequin is such a 🌸blessing🌸
