I plan on making a wig wall
I would like to use 2 tables from IKEA which will be put on the wall.
And we will 3D print a bunch of hooks that I modeled for the wig heads to be inserted in.
Wigs tend to take so much space and so I thought we should display them this way to free up some space.
The long ones will have more space in between the hooks. Looking at you Sephiroth.

2 days sanding:
- yesterday's fitting took 4 hours, the rib design didn't want to fit with its counter part so I had to sand it down smooth completely
- today's sanding was about 4 hours as well for smoothing the surfaces and removing the seams
After that you take a soft paintbrush and you rince everything in water while removing the dust from cracks.
Now because we don't have a workshop for me, I need to clean the whole kitchen from dust 💦💦

I love this katana design. I sculpted all the details to the little bits, just like in the game
Yesterday I put the metal bar in with glue and let it dry for the night.
Today I finished blocking the 2 seams.
It's heavy like a real katana but at least it won't feel like a toy!

Going forward with Adam after changing the wig 3 times! Which is why it took so long!
On top of that, working with a new type of head has an awkwardness to it.
Adam's wig is absolutely more difficult than it looks because he has really specific long hair placement at a specific distance and it doesn't mix too well. That and the two funny strands of hair going through his face. It's tempting to leave long wigs as they are, but I can't overlook the details.
It will be tough...

Now we had better fabric and did it properly!

I added some wall filler on top of the arm because it is so easy to sand for a smooth finish. Carefully covered it with sticky wide bandages like the reference I had.
Doesn't look like much but it was more tricky than what it appears to be! Sticky bandages gave me a fight.
ah..The simpliest things are sometimes harder.

It's a belt day it seems
I was always pushing this away for more important things.
We upgraded some parts on Yurick in between the main projects. We also redid the boots which we will post later! We were in a bit of a rush when we were doing these projects before Yeticon a few years ago.
Perhaps one day this pretty game will have the remake it deserves!

We absolutely did not drive back from friends dinner, almost at 4am, saw this amazing fog, come home, redo makeup and change into Maria!
We never get fog like this! It was freezing but we did some nice photos! It's a bit challenging in the dark, without help, but hey, we managed 👌

I honestly forgot, that my old shoes were too small - after Kupocon I ended up with painful black nail cause they were too tight 😭
So I finally finished new ones! I was waiting for the pink leather for few weeks to come 🥺

Much shorter than the one for KupoCon. Improved the placement of the spikes because the length matches better. I had to wear it once to know for sure and so KupoCon was a test run. I do know I should be doing a custom head but then it will awkwardly fit on the display ones. Ah dilemma.
It's always a little discouraging to start over but it is for the best. Started by washing the hair off the spray, cutting, then re-spiking carefully where they should be, and the exact same number of sp...
