It was fun to make those! Inside there ia a layer of soft fabric, so it's not fully leather cause it would be very hard to remove it after a while!

Her name is Alice. She is 11 years old. I only had a week. That and all the other things I've had to do this week for our cosplays.

So I went to hell and back with the first leather, just to switch it in the middle to a new one and redo everything!
( First 4 photos is the old leather and you can see how it was cracking over night!)

If you know me already, I sit with a ruler and measure space so the stuff aligns 😂 probably that's why I am so terribly slow!!

Y'all been working so hard with us on Nier's stuff, but now that we can tackle something else, it feels refreshing! I foresee that things will speedup tremendously!

Today

I did a lot of 3D this past week! I haven't showed everything yet but today I'm fixing things. And next week I will style of lot of wigs! Sephiroth/secret projects and a couple of others, well probably :) We will see!

I am changing tactics for the fingers of Nier.
Normally I would make holes to attach each of them like every normal armor (I originally did that but it was way too bulky!), but Nier is a little odd in his design and his finger armors are just flat glued on top of each ...

For so long, all I could do was destroy.

 But now, I have a chance to save something...

Emil final dressing up, step by step

Here comes the boring explanation of yesterday's work.

Until yesterday, Emil clothes were holding on pins that I carefully placed to have the exact pleats.The challenge was to sew everything without losing any position of any folds.

Lots of going back and forth for each step. To make sure the design lands where it needs to be, it is not just a scarf around his neck I can tell you that! This scarf has plenty of stitches and snaps.
