In between finishing After Dark and school, I've been wanting to get back into this project. I've been pretty bogged down this month, but I'm slowly chipping away at this. I think my problem with it last year was that I was trying to get it done as quickly as possible, and I was still very new to making comics in A4 format. I feel like I've grown enough to produce something better

After Dark Progress

I’ve been going hard on churning out these episodes, it’s felt like nonstop AD lately. One scene in particular I’ve had in my mind for about 3 years now, so it’s freeing to actually be drawing it out. I predict that AD will return some time early summer

Another page test + Kieran concept. Kieran is essentially replacing Drew's original role in the early draft of After Dark, except instead of dealing with a ghostly ex, his character is moreso focused on exploring being a stealth trans man.

Back to the grind, it's been so long since I've drawn blue haired Drew it feels weird haha. I do like having a sense of a schedule again, though. I've missed having that kind of structure for comic work.

The final page of the prologue! I enjoyed getting into a groove for this series. I've been touching up the outline for Chapter 1 so that should be getting worked on in the new year.

Project WIP

I think I want to put pitching AD on the back burner for now in favour of Crows Calling; a shorter project that might be better suited for a YA crowd. Crows Calling follows Rowan, a young witch who, in her pursuit to prove herself, ends up costing her brother his life.

I've been in a crazy work mode recently to get these pages ready, I'm pleasantly surprised at how compact the story has been so far. I'm really getting hyped about the writing. That being said, I'm still working very har...

"Little Lamb" - I went into this one wanting to achieve a vintage feeling, kinda like an old postcard. I really loved how the oval framing came out, and the bows were fun, I need to add more embellishes onto my illustrations. Was originally just going to be a girl and a lamb but what would my work be if there wasn't some element of creepiness?
