We've got a new development build ready for you. This version of Beat Banger focuses on finalizing all of the technical features that need to be implemented for the Steam release. Once we get all of those out of the way, we can get back to completing and polishing level animations.

We've just finished prototyping the extras menu. Soon you'll be able to utilize all of the items you've bought in the point shop. So far, there are three selections for the extras menu: Sound Test, Gallery, and Modifiers. The "Sound Test" room lets you listen to the game's unused and hidden secret tracks. Hello everyone! We've added quite a few quality-of-life improvements to the newest version of Beat Banger that will be coming out at the beginning of next month.
This has been a widely requested feature for a long time, and now it's finally here. Upon resuming the game after being in the pause menu, you get a 3-second countdown timer, giving you some time to react before the level continues.

We've added a neat little level selection screen so you can traverse the levels of the game. ✨ Levels that you have yet to complete will show up here and levels that you cannot yet access will be locked until you beat the level before it.
I've taken the liberty of going back through old code and making it a lot neater, which will allow the game to start up and run much faster.
Soon we'll be releasing a public version of beat banger 2.0 as a demo for everyone to play. ✨
