Hello everyone! We've added quite a few quality-of-life improvements to the newest version of Beat Banger that will be coming out at the beginning of next month.

Pause Menu Count Down Timer

This has been a widely requested feature for a long time, and now it's finally here. Upon resuming the game after being in the pause menu, you get a 3-second countdown timer, giving you some time to react before the level continues.

Mouse Navigability

You had to use your keyboard to navigate most of the menus, but now we've added the ability to navigate the menus with your mouse. This is very beneficial if you're playing on a system with a touch screen.

LRU Audio Cache

Previously, all global sounds used in Beat Banger were loaded on startup. Audio has been newly optimized to only load if used frequently. The maximum cash size for loaded audio streams is 6, but I could make this an option that users can change in the future if further optimization is required. (But it really should be enough)
