I love when I feel like I nailed a different than usual interesting pose. It's hard to think of new poses all the time, in the moment, when you are moving quickly as sooon as the camera clicks. Some shoots my brain thinks quickly. Sometimes it doesn't. This one it was. I think you'll like the next photos from this shoot, too. I was feeling inspired in this empty kitchen.

Spinning Mega Set

This was a concept of mine. I wanted to see what it would look like if I was spinning and you could see up my dress, but also somewhat abstract and blurred. So, the photographer captured exactly what I wanted. I didn't want them to be clear. I wanted them to have a vintage feel. Hope you like them, too.

Happy Easter part 1

So, I was cleaning out my Halloween costume bins a couple weeks ago and found a black plastic bunny mask. I thought oh this will be cute with my Easter tree. (I have a little white tree I decorate for holidays.) Thus the inspiration for this self portrait set. As you'll notice, I got so into the lighting (ended up using a little flashlight propped up), the composition, the posing, and the props with the fake chocolate bunny that I forgot to put on the black bunny mask! Optical illusion shapes in an attic

These are from the World Photography Day group shoot day last year. Dave Levingston pulled me aside and we did some photos on the third floor of the house in Newark while the others were working on other sets. Just trying to show you guys some cool things that will be coming up next month so you stick around! I still have lots to share that has never been seen! :)

Also, bts tidbit... these panties have a string instead of a wider strap of fabric and they were going up my crotch the whole time. So, I had to delete some photos from the full set that were unflatteringly revealing. haha. Unedited straight off the camera.

Pied Piper

A friend/photographer and I went out last Summer to shoot some fun concepts of mine. This is what you get if you ask me for concepts, haha. I'll be posting the rest of the concepts this month and into next month. I'm wearing cat ears, which doesn't translate that well in these photos. I have different cat ears now that might have shown up better. But, I liked the rainbow with the rainbow dress. I'm happy with my posing and interpretation of the theme in these photos. Sunlight and shadows selfies

I was attempting to take self portrait Polaroids for someone who had ordered a set (you know who you are) and I became enamored with how the butterfly window cling, stained glass window piece, and my houseplants were casting shadows, so I grabbed my cell phone.
