I don't know. I have nothing to say for myself. Sometimes I just do shit and see what happens. This is an example of that. I think a shoot cancelled, so I spent a bit of time shooting myself. And, been sitting on these photos since Spring. More weirdness to come.

Excitement!

I'm going to be honest. I have so much "content" it's hard not to blow it all at once! I have shoots from months ago and self-portrait shoots I'm sitting on, too. And, I have more shoots scheduled this month. I'm really going after it this year to get my list of concepts shot and work with some new people and just really excited about modeling and Patreon and you being here. Symmetry

This is the last one from what I found on DeviantArt and downloaded to save. This is only one side of my body flipped to make the other half of the image. I've learned this before in something other than photography, but no matter how symmetrical your face or body looks, it's actually not. And, if you take one side and mirror image it to the other side and look at it, you'd be really surprised. It is said that people are more attracted to faces that are the most symmetrical. So, here's my line of thinking with self portraits and probably all my concepts. It's better to get the idea photographed and out and seen than to wait on perfection. Could someone else shoot this better? Yes. Could someone else or me edit these? Yes. But, I think you still get the point and the rawness of not being perfect or editing adds a realness to what I present. When I was more ballsy

Some of you have shot with me when I had a studio in the Masonic Temple building in Zanesville. This is the main floor, after hours. Still risky with no shirt on. It was years ago, before it got busy and all the rooms rented. Sarah and I did coordinate our outfits. There's also one photo of me being a beast with some simple body paint. Sarah and I painted each other.

Update on my face just bc we talked about it.

I drove an hour and a half and they couldn't do it today because it's so large and close to the vessels on my temple and the main surgeon wasn't available. I was scheduled with a PA. They will do it on September 13 in Zanesville and the surgeon will potentially do a skin flap. 😳 So, I'll be trying to get shoots in during August because I think I'll be out for about a month after that while my face heals. Scissoring

The first shot is a test shot. So, after we shot the tea party set, he said let's shoot it a little more naughty like how you'd make your Barbies scissor or hu mp when you're little. Begging for you to stay through August

Yesterday kind of "went sideways" as the kids like to say. lol.
