Closeups + Fun Edits

The end of this shoot at Burr Oak Lodge with an anonymous photographer. Weather permitting we are shooting some clothed conceptual concepts this week. We got smogged out from the Canadian wildfires last time we were scheduled to shoot. Hope everyone is doing okay with that. It really can affect you. Anyway, have a great week and stay healthy!

Infrared Photography

This image is an infrared photo. Has anyone else shot infrared? There is only one photographer I know right now that does it and I have not shot with him. He's in another state. This was shot by Timothy Wombold in one of our hotel shoots. I'm not sure if he's still shooting it or not. Most of what he currently posts is dance photography and the models have clothes on. I've always thought there was something magical about this, though. Like a doll in a dream.

I remember hating this dress. I wore it often for shoots, because it fit the bill when I needed something somewhat sheer and vintage looking, but I always wanted to be and look sexier. I still lean towards wanting something tighter or shorter versus letting my body speak for itself in a naturally beautiful way. Now I wish I had that dress back. Hindsight is 20/20. Pink Thigh High Socks 2 - Cross Legged

Photographer is anonymous. Loving these. Feel pretty in pale pink lately. I think often times pale pink matches my skin tone better than "nude". Just makes me feel very feminine. 

Timothy Wombold - 2nd Shoot

This shoot was also in a hotel room and my model friend Sarah also modeled for him at the same time. In the last shot, you can see her shooting me with his second camera. So, he had us shoot each other and shot us while we did it. So, then he had the photos on his camera that we shot of each other and the ones he shot. Pretty neat idea.

Wet Hair Towel Wrap

My hair is not really wet. I don't think. I don't remember. I was just trying to be creative to change up the look. :) I really love one of these photos. I really hate one of these photos. Negative Space

Has anyone tried to use negative space before? I find it hard to use in my regular artwork and I suppose in my photography, too. I automatically center things or rule of thirds and forget how cool this can be as a composition idea and to draw the eye where you want to draw it. I think these are a great artsy example. I left the first photo in so you can tell that Dave (Levingston) was standing up on a balcony shooting down on me. He saw a slice of sunlight and had me stand in it. Really cool ...

Sheet Rainbow - Timothy Wombold

I can't remember if this was our first shoot or second. He asked me to work a red sheet. I had not done much modeling with a prop, so I just played and tried different things. He had different models use different colors and then combined them into the image you see last. Pretty cool. I was feeling bad about my body this morning but then I liked it this afternoon so here's a video of it and a sneak peek under a dress I was going to wear to my shoot this afternoon. It got cancelled because the air quality is so poor and the world is just hot, brown and dirty outside. Going against the grain to get good pics.

Wild Woman - Mega Post

He had me start with some clothed looks. The 10th photo my husband used as his phone screen saver for the longest time. His clients and servers in restaurants would look at him like he was a creep, because they didn't know that was his wife. Even people who did know me were like why do you have a woman in a bikini as your screen saver, not knowing it was me. lol The last photo is kinda funny. I'm full on sexy face. Instant Peel Apart Film

Super expired film that Dave always tries to use up but never can because he has so much of it. I love how they come out. The pulling fabric across our faces one (my idea) is epic. This shoot was in August of last year at my temporary Dresden, Ohio schoolhouse studio. More to come.
