Continuing the D and s theme we were playing with some on this shoot.... I feel I need to explain this concept. (It was Jonah's and a great one to play around with.) The Dancer
This is from the self portrait shoot where I got there really early to use the morning light. I was practicing trying to stand/stay on my tip toes to elongate my body and dancer-y poses to look elegant. I must have been using my new camera, because it will do 5 photos spaced seconds apart with just one click. One morning I got up at 7 a.m., didn't shower, and headed straight for the studio to take advantage of the morning light. I was practicing a couple of things.... my posing for fine art.... and making myself shoot with diagonal framing. I have seen it done and liked it. I normally make my horizon lines straight. I didn't like these when I first looked at them, but it's been a few months and I like them now. OCD brain said no thanks, at first.

Of trying to make soft, pretty faces.... I flash my boobs or try to take off my clothes. And, sometimes get reprimanded to put them back on, because my boobs are overkill for these kinds of pics. I tried. lol

They have to be near me, because if I have to move to another location, I can't even see to move. I saw this dress on the mannequin at Goodwill and bought it right off of her, knowing it was too big for me, just because I knew it would make nice photos. Shot by Atmosphoto1 at the Dresden Schoolhouse studio. And, back to the thrift store it has went. :)
