I am so sorry for the delay. We had ice for 12 hours straight and then snow on top of that and the power has been out for 24 hours. It got down to 50 degrees in the house and they pushed back the restore time to tomorrow, but luckily it randomly came back on tonight! So thankful to linemen and emergency workers! Hair down body paint part 1

My hands were sticky because the paint was mixed with baby oil, so the one pic I left in of me making a face (lol) is a genuine face I made when I was about to put my hands in my hair because I knew it would look good, but I wasn't excited about the way it would feel and getting my hands stuck in my hair and paint in my hair. haha

Light and behind - body paint

Dave Levingston. Was looking for my body paints yesterday and realized I left them in the studio. Blahhhh. Keep thinking of things I'm missing and realizing they got burned up. Sucks. Hey, thanks for being here this month and picking me back up. I'm probably going to be able to get in a shoot or two next month and will try to do some more selfies and self portraits. I'm starting to feel "up" again and getting the little things in shoot condition again like my nails and eyebrows. :)

Old body paint - old studio - old shoot

Before we get into the body paint photos by Dave Levingston, I thought I'd post this set I stumbled across again. This was shot in the Masonic Temple building on the first floor and then in my old studio on the third floor and another room. Co-model is Sarah Achor who doesn't seem to model too much anymore except for her vintage clothing store or for sculptors. The photographer is Timothy Wombold. Note the marble walls, checkerboard floor, old woodwork, and long old table.

Boundaries

I've been working on my boundaries with photographers. I've had some issues in the past either due to my unclear communication and expectations or theirs or a combination. So, I've been trying to be more concerted in my efforts. I have a no touching rule, which is standard with most models, unless it's required for bondage or rope work or some such. So, when Dave Levingston approached me for a body painting+baby oil shoot, I thought it best to have my friend Megyen paint me with his directive...

My studio burned to the ground Thursday night

Well, that's accurate, but what's also accurate is that it's still burning right now. It was a 6 floor 120 year old Masonic Temple building on the historic register full of 60 small businesses and artist studios, including a lot of my friends. An entire community. Completely rented full.
