[Dandadan] Chapter 4 – Saving Momo and Okarun

Jin was jogging around Kamikoshi city and marveled at his new physical strength. His speed, stamina, and even his jumping strength were much better than before. He had run for more than 15 minutes at high speed and yet he was still fine.

No wonder why Jiji in the manga moved so freely. Even without relying on Ki or supernatural technique, this physical boost alone was worth the reincarnation.

But of course, Jin wanted more. There were so many possibilities with Nurarihyon's power and Spiritual Power at his disposal.

Arriving at the park, he went under the shade of a large tree. The twilight sky glowed beautifully above him.

Cool breeze caressed his skin gently causing goosebumps all over his body due to sudden change from intense heat outdoors earlier.

Birds chirped happily nearby singing songs praising mother nature for providing such perfect weather today. He enjoyed listening closely while sitting in a seiza— closing his eyes to concentrate.

Following what he remembered from the anime and manga of Dandadan, he wanted to control his Spiritual Power. While breathing calmly and staying focused on controlling Ki flow inside him.

'Focus my power on the point below my navel. Imagine a power running from my head to my fingertip.'

Spiritual power concentrated into single points near vital organs; heart, lung, liver kidney and stomach. As they gathered together creating sphere-shaped objects containing enormous quantities of energy.

Soon afterwards, waves began emerging around his palms as a sign of success!

Now he needed only maintain focus and direct those waves outward rather than inward.

As time passed, his Spiritual Power started flowing through both arms. He felt strange warmth spreading throughout his entire being giving rise to great sensation akin to orgasmic pleasure coursing through veins and nerves simultaneously.

"Whoa." He exclaimed happily realizing he succeeded. "As granny Seiko said in the manga, Jiji is truly a prodigy. Having his body definitely makes learning this easy!"

Smiling widely, he enjoyed this feeling without worrying about side effects nor consequences whatsoever.

At that moment...

[Ding! You have managed to unlock your spiritual power.]

[Assimilation progress +2]

[Unlocking Skill: Ki Infused Attack!]

Suddenly a screen popped up before him, displaying information regarding a new skill learned by Jin named 'Ki Infusion'.

"I am able to increase my assimilation progress like this?" Jin laughed merrily as he continued training.

Until another notification appeared moments later surprising him greatly.

This time though it displayed a different message instead of the usual one he saw previously whenever leveling up skills.

[The world's story has progressed.]

As soon as he heard that, his Spiritual Sense skill seemed to alert him to something important occurring near him.

And from the notification he heard before...

"The first chapter starts tonight?" His eyes widened in realization.

If that was the case, then he had no choice but to go. Witnessing or defeating occult mysteries would increase his assimilation progress, making him stronger and closer to Nurarihyon.

Hoping it was Momo and Okarun he was sensing, Jin immediately sprinted towards where his senses told him. As he ran, he transformed himself into the handsome youkai. And to his surprise, he ran even faster now.

His long white hair fluttered against the wind and his body temperature dropped drastically resulting in a pleasant sensation akin to entering a cold bathhouse.

Nurarihyon was a youkai reflecting the moon's reflection in a calm lake on a clear summer night. He lived quietly, unnoticed by most humans. It was therefore logical that one who inherited its powers would move faster at night.

"Hahaha, the moon is so pretty tonight! Perfect time for a date."

Arriving near his destination point after running nonstop for approximately 5 minutes or so. Jin finally stopped once reached an abandoned hospital outside Kamikoshi city.

Flying above the building was a strange plate-shaped object similar to a hat. Jin knew the owner of it, as he read the manga.

"Serpoian aliens!"

His blood boiled and he clenched his fist tightly upon seeing these creatures trying to abduct Earth girls. Yet, at the same time, he couldn't help smiling thinking about fighting it.

"Oh, this is perfect as a weapon."

When walking toward the building, he found a metal pipe from the junkyard lying around.

After picking up the pipe and raising it overhead, the flying object suddenly exploded from inside. It wobbled around aimlessly and went straight toward the building.

From the new hole created by the explosion, Jin managed to see two figures. One was Momo, and the other was cursed Okarun in a Turbo Granny form.

"Momo is fine but Okarun..." His face contorted disgustingly at Okarun's sight. "Just what the hell? Eew! But it doesn't matter. Let me beat him real quick and force Turbo Granny to assimilate faster."

Thinking so, he jumped upward into midair effortlessly with incredible strength. Landing directly atop the rooftop where he spotted two figures arguing furiously underneath thick blanket darkness surrounding them both.

Momo desperately tried to defend herself using her newfound power while Okarun tried to bite her. Despite being just awakened, the burst of power she had was powerful enough that her enemy backed off momentarily.

Seeing their fight made him even more excited knowing they fought against extraterrestrial beings called 'Aliens' or 'Space Invaders' or even a Youkai.

"Gwaa..."

Just before she arrived, Momo managed to drive Turbo Granny away from Okarun's body. Using this chance, Jin swung his pipe horizontally, striking the old youkai hard enough to blow her away.

Bam!

"Gah!"

Twisting face with large eyes and mouth opened wide, revealing a row full of sharp fangs. Her main body spiraled back to the phone she used to travel toward this place.

"You! I will come back and kill you!"

Having recognized the culprit responsible for knocking her out, Turbo Granny shouted angrily as she disappeared. Meanwhile, Okarun's body convulsed due to the curse, making Momo panic.

"The curse hasn't been lifted?!" Momo screamed worriedly, "How? Turbo Granny is gone already..."

Momo turned around, only to find an extremely attractive boy standing in front of her wearing a tracksuit. Tall muscular build, long hair reaching shoulders level tied neatly behind head framing chiseled features perfectly.

He held metal pipe loosely between fingers idly twirling it playfully, seeming bored beyond measure.

Jin raised eyebrows noticing Momo staring intently towards him, almost ogling shamelessly. Then he smiled and picked her up carefully while holding Okarun like a sack, trying his best to make him behave.

"Hold tight."

"Huh?"

Without any explanation, he jumped downward. The UFO they were in crashed against the building and exploded just right after.

Since the wreckage would soon fall onto them, Jin thought it was a wise decision to escape beforehand.

"Kyaa!!"

Momo shrieked loudly wrapping arms protectively around his chest tightly hanging dearly on him like a newborn baby clinging to its parent for safety from danger surrounding them.

Fortunately, they landed safely and managed to escape uninjured.

Jin lowered her to the ground and threw Okarun roughly. The cursed Okarun screamed and tried to run, but Jin simply held him.

"Momo-chan, can you keep a lid on his curse?" He asked sweetly, patting Okarun on the head forcefully.

Momo blinked at her name being called out but complied anyway. "Y-yes!"

The cursed boy suddenly changed back to normal as she held the curse back with her psychic power. The nerdy boy calmed down and regained consciousness. He stared at Momo and she stared back at him.

"I think I believe in spirits now. I've been cursed, after all."

"Yup, I think I believe in aliens too. I mean, I've been abducted by them."

They said at the same time.

Witnessing the end of chapter 1 in the manga, and beating the Turbo Granny once, a notification appeared in front of Jin.

[Ding! You have changed the course of the world and beat Turbo Granny once.]

[Assimilation progress +2]

[The world's story has progressed.]

Unfortunately, nothing was unlocked this time. But that didn't matter. After all, he managed to see the real youkai with his own eyes.

"Also..."

Momo suddenly looked at him with a suspicious gaze. She narrowed her eyes dangerously as she scrutinized him from head to toe intensely without blinking even once.

"Who are you?"

"Hmm, well..."

He flashed a dazzling smile full of confidence showing pearly whites. His transformation was undone and he could see Momo's eyes visibly widen as she realized who he was.

"Long time no see, Momo."

"Jiji?!"

[Dandadan] Chapter 3 – Moving to Granny Shrine

But instead of greeting him, Seiko just raised an eyebrow.

"You're Jiji? Long time no see. You've grown into a fine man, I see." Seiko replied with surprise evident in her tone. "For now, enter the house and I will hear what business you have with me," She added as she turned around.

"Alright," Jin nodded and followed behind.

The old sexy lady led him inside and showed him his seat. Once seated properly across each other around the table, both started talking casually first without getting straight into business yet.

"How have you been doing lately?" asked Seiko as she brought her cup full of tea close enough that its steam warmed her lips slightly.

"Hahaha, I'd like to say I am doing good, but that would be a lie." He laughed bitterly. "Grandpa Seimo, do you know that the house I live in now is haunted? There is even an evil spirit lurking inside of it."

"Yeah, I heard about it already from your mom. She contacted me just earlier." Her expression darkened as she recalled hearing that news. "And it seems you finally witnessed that apparition yourself too."

"Uh-huh." Jin nodded. "I woke up early and rushed here to ask for help. That spirit gave me a weird dream last night, which probably will keep happening until he drives us to the hospital as well."

"So that means... You can see spirits now?"

Jin smiled slightly.

Seiko fell silent for a while before continuing speaking again.

"... You are sure that you're not possessed?" She stared at him seriously. "If you are, please be honest with me right now."

"I'm certain of it." He reassured firmly.

Even though it was technically true that he received Nurarihyon's power, it wasn't anything dangerous so she had no need to worry at all.

Granny Seiko looked at him and narrowed her eyes, prompting him to continue.

"But maybe, I just have a little bit of youkai power now. I am wondering if you can teach me how to use it correctly."

He wanted to learn how to use Nurarihyon's power.

What could be more exciting than this?

Seiko sighed loudly after hearing his words. She put her own teacup down slowly. "Then why don't you show me your youkai power?"

"How?"

"Just do it! Feel it and bring it out. If you have some kind of ability then you will know how to use it without asking me."

It was easier said than done, however. How is one supposed to use power that wasn't part of their original body? All those techniques, supernatural abilities or Spiritual Power attacks, they seemed impossible for normal humans like them.

At least, that was what he thought initially.

But this world was different.

Jin just never tried to explore or call his power out. When he tried doing so, he instinctively knew how to activate Nurarihyon's power.

Confidence flowed throughout him, making him grin wildly. It felt amazing! The sudden surge in confidence filled him with excitement and eagerness to try out this newfound talent of his.

Slowly his body also changed. He became slightly taller and his hair longer. The auburn color faded into white as well. While he didn't know the specific effect of changing himself to appear like Nurarihyon, he felt stronger.

With excitement etched on his face, his posture changed into a comfortable one. He raised his knee and rested his hand on top of it. His eyelid lowered as he focused.

Finally, he spoke confidently,

"Old hag, thanks for telling me." He smirked mockingly, the words coming out his mouth different from before, "Now this is interesting. My consciousness is still intact but I feel... powerful."

Seeing the change, Seiko raised an eyebrow before laughing hysterically. She clapped happily at his answer.

However...

"Who are you calling an old hag?!" She hit Jin with a paper fan, and his transformation suddenly reverted as he cried out in pain.

"Hoo..."

Jin slumped down dejectedly, rubbing the bruise where he got hit, and grumbled, "...that hurts."

He closed his eyes for a few seconds, letting out several deep breaths, preparing his mind again before opening them again.

Once more, he changed. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I did call you old hag, but you're one hell of a fine woman. Saying anything more than that would be disrespectful to a person who is going to teach me. Or maybe you want to spend a night with me?"

That remark earned another hit on his head. "Stop talking like that!"

Rubbing his head, Jin reverted back and rubbed his head. He laughed awkwardly, "Ahaha, I am sorry."

"Enough, let's get serious. Do you know what kind of youkai's aura is somehow seeping through you? Because I know the presence. Very well actually."

Of course Jin knew. He nodded slowly because of how serious Seiko had become.

Nurarihyon, the one known as Youkai Lord.

"It seems like you've got quite a troublesome power to control. As long as you haven't fully mastered it, don't go out without keeping yourself under control. And stay here for now. I will supervise your training."

Jin sighed in relief, "Great, thanks a lot grandma Seiko."

"Don't get cheeky, you brat. Your room is over there, now clean it up and rest," she pointed her fingers at a certain room. "Also, you will transfer to Momo's school tomorrow. Your mother already contacted them."

"Yes, ma'am." With that being said, he went straight away towards his newly assigned room and started unpacking his little belongings.

After finishing, Jin decided to rest for a while before starting again. Unpacking wasn't really a tiring thing after all.

Looking around the place where he'd stay temporarily until further notice, Jin felt overwhelmed once again by all of these changes happening in such a short period of time.

A strange shadow put him in this body, then he had to run from the cursed house and find out how to control his Nurarihyon power. Only a few hours had passed since morning but he was mentally tired.

But perhaps a few things made him happy.

First, of course, was Nurarihyon's power.

Second, he got into a world where occult was real and actually showed itself.

Third, Granny Seiko was so sexy, and lastly, his appearance became extremely handsome.

Even his charm stat was high as hell.

There might be some trouble or difficulty along the way, however, with this newfound second life chance given by an unknown being, he decided to enjoy every moment spent within this wonderful fantasy setting created just for people who love mystery and supernatural stuff.

'This might sound crazy and ridiculous, but... I am somehow looking forward to it. All the craziness that will happen, I mean.'

Somehow, even when he should be tired, he felt so energetic that he wanted to move. Staying still just didn't fit right now, which was strange because he was the indoor type before.

Feeling restless, he put on his tracksuit again and left the room. In the living room, Seiko was laying on her side while watching TV. She turned her head around and looked at him.

"You want to go out?"

"Yes. For some reason I feel very energetic, even after that trip I just took." Jin replied energetically, holding his bicep to show off his muscle.

Feeling uninterested, Seiko waved her hand lazily as if she wanted him gone.

"Okay then, don't forget to come home before dinner," she stated calmly before returning focus to whatever she watched earlier. "Be careful."

[Dandadan] Chapter 2 – Granny Seiko

"Fuck!"

Hitting his head repeatedly didn't change the fact that he got spirited away to another world. There was only one conclusion after he calmed himself and analyzed the situation.

There are three possibilities for what has just occurred.

One, the person he had a beef with cursed him to have an unusual dream.

Second, the last comment he wrote caused the real Youkai to come out and spirited him away due to his faith in their existence.

And third, he had already died and was in a perpetual dream.

Yeah, no way.

The second explanation might be the most believable one, since he was without a doubt here now. Although he wouldn't say it wasn't impossible because he did see something coming out from the ceiling in the shape of a human and grinning at him.

However, no matter what theory he proposed, none of them could explain why he became Jin Enjoji or even tell him how to turn back to normal.

'At least I have Nurarihyon's power. But I do have a pressing matter to do.'

From the ID he found in the table, he was a second year student at high school, which meant the main story would start soon or had already started. Chill crept onto his skin as he realized that.

'Shit.'

Jin quickly opened his closet and took off his pajamas. He found a tracksuit folded neatly inside it. Without wasting time he wore that and grabbed his backpack before sprinting out of the room.

'The good thing about this, the story probably hasn't progressed far yet so I can watch Okarun and Momo’s first paranormal fight. But the bad thing is...'

Opening the door, he left the house in a hurry. He looked to his left and right but he couldn't find any car nor bike here. And then, he turned back to his house, which felt strangely eerie for him.

'...this house is cursed. And there is a stupidly giant worm lurking underneath this house.'

Despite seeing the nice modern look from the outside, however, stepping inside was a completely different feeling. It made him uncomfortable to stay too long, there was always a feeling that something was watching him.

A shadow from the window. Tall, lanky man with only underwear. He felt like he could see the Evil Eye inside the house even when nothing was there.

Jin paused as he tried to think carefully.

'There is also the Evil Eye roaming around. Hell no! I can't stay in this place.’

Where to go was never the question. He already had a destination in mind. The question he had since he hurriedly left the house and walked away was one.

"How do I use Nurarihyon's power?"

He absolutely had no idea.

Anyway, he could always consult with grandma Seiko later. And so he went to the station and boarded the train to Kamikoshi city where her shrine was located.

While looking through the window, he began thinking about many things. What would he do in this world? How should he live his life here?

His first objective was clear, meeting Seiko and asking for help or crashing into their place.

Next, the problem would be money, but...

"I have quite a lot in my bank account."

When he checked his phone before, he noticed there was lots of money in his bank account. Enough for him to survive for years without having to worry about spending.

He also found his parents' phone number and told them he would go to meet granny Seiko because of something.

'It feels awkward messaging them. I was an orphan and now suddenly I have a mother and father.'

As much as he loved freedom, he'd rather be an ordinary boy with living parents like in previous life. Money can't buy parental love.

Suddenly, he felt his chest tightening as tears came out of his eyes.

'Huh?'

He was confused. Why did he cry right now? Everything has gone well so far. Did something sad happen just now? Or was he overwhelmed with emotion after coming to this world?

'My body is reacting to my thoughts? Oh, right. Jin's parents are hospitalized due to the house's curse. So they must've called the exorcists already but failed.'

That's why he got a fast reply from them, telling him that they were glad he visited grandma Seiko. After all, at this moment, he had supernatural ability and could see spirit. And that was after they became victims of paranormal stuff.

After realizing his body and spirit now merging together, he was affected by its feelings too. He tried to suppress Jiji's sadness while calming down himself and returned to his thoughts.

"The next stop is Kamikoshi Station." An announcement resounded, signaling for Jin to prepare to get off. Once he got down on the platform, he started moving away.

Sunlight shone upon him, making him raise his hand to shield his eye.

People walked beside him, heading towards their own destinations. Work and school students chartered happily, filling his ears with cheerful voices.

Meanwhile, there was something strange happening within sight range. When he turned around to check the area behind him, an unnatural movement caught his attention. In front of his eye, two legs floating above ground appeared briefly before fading away again.

When it disappeared completely, everything went back to normal. Jin rubbed his eyes.

"Is that a spirit?" He muttered curiously. A hint of excitement could be heard from his tone.

As an occult enthusiast, seeing these paranormal entities firsthand excited him greatly. However, the feeling quickly vanished after being replaced by hope. This world didn't lack interesting phenomena to observe.

Moreover...

"I can use Spiritual Power and see ghosts too." He spoke softly to no one in particular.

Spiritual Power. A mysterious energy existing in every living being. By learning how to control it, people who possessed a large amount of it could use special techniques like a wave attack or something similar.

Jin immediately opened up the stats screen.

'My Spiritual Power is rated A, huh? And my physical strength is C. My charm is off the chart being A+. And there is Assimilation Progress 1/100.'

Thinking about something he didn't understand just gives him a headache. He decided to put it on later and headed to the shrine immediately. He found it easily thanks to the google map.

Seeing the standing Torii gate, he couldn't help but stop before entering.

"Wait, will I be fine?"

The gate had an anti-youkai charm that even burned Okarun when he first entered due to the Turbo Granny.

But then when he assimilated with her and Aira had Acrobatic Silky's aura, they could enter just fine, so he believed that he should be able to enter just fine.

Gulping, he tried extending his hand past the Torii gate nervously. Nothing happened, he passed through safely. His face brightened up with a smile.

"Sweet!"

"What are you doing over there?"

Just as he felt relieved, someone called him from a shrine area. He looked back to the direction where voice came from and saw a sexy white haired woman wearing nothing but a tank top and shorts.

Some kind of clothes were wrapped around her waist and she also wore gloves and stirrup legwears.

Her voluptuous figure stood out greatly against such skimpy attire.

She stared intently at Jin with suspicious eyes while holding a metal on her shoulder.

Despite the aggressive gesture, Jin still smiled happily since he was glad to meet the grandmother here already. After all, she could guide him well on using Nurarihyon's power, especially since he would visit frequently due to this matter.

Therefore, he approached and greeted politely, "Good day, granny Seiko! I am Jiji. You look so stunning today!" before bowing deeply.

[Dandadan] Chapter 1 – Spirited Away

A new fanfiction, I got hooked reading Dandadan but found no fanfiction so I write it myself.

MC is an occult enthusiast who got reincarnated as Jiji. I kinda got inspired with Nurarihyon no Mago a little bit and give the MC his power, but with a system that kinda give a limit that allow his growth.

Hope you enjoy it.

***

Chapter 1 – Spirited Away

Sound of keyboard clicking could be heard as an eighteen-year-old man sat down on a gaming chair, in front of him was a computer with four screens connected to it. The screens were filled with what looked to be several spreadsheets and various programs.

Behind his back the sound of raindrops pattering against glass could be heard.

Right now, he was engaged in a hot fight in an occult forum.

"What did he mean that UMA is stronger than a ghost urban legend?!"

In a forum where many posts related to paranormal phenomena were being exchanged, there was an article with the title 'UMA vs Youkai, which one won?' caught his eye. And since that was his favorite forum, he had no choice but to respond.

"Of course Youkai would win. There is a Kappa that can rip a human spine, a Rokurokubi with a neck extending up to the sky... and so many more."

"And yet you claim UMA would lose? Don't make me laugh," someone named UMA-san quickly responded in rebuttal.

"Mothman for example, its wings are poisonous if you try to touch them or eat them you'd die on spot, and they have eyes on both sides of their body that can glow."

"But it will lose against Nurarihyon as you can't even hit him! UMA won't be able to feel his presence, and he will stab you in the back."

"You talk about back attacks? Try Chupacabra who always attacks prey from behind by piercing its heart. It's also extremely agile and will drain your blood in a flash."

At that moment the eighteen-year-old paused for a moment and smiled victoriously.

"Hahaha, that's just misinformation. Tell me, have you proven that UMA existed yet? It's called UMA with a capital U because it's unidentified! At least Youkai has been proven to exist by folklore."

"Wha- That's low coming from you!"

The fight was over, his opponent had nothing else to add, and therefore he emerged victorious once again. Today wasn't very hot, however, he still took off his black shirt to wipe the sweat from the typing battle. After all, today he managed to defeat three people and reached peak mental exhaustion.

"I think I'm going to take a rest from occult thread now."

After winning the thread, he decided to move to another board, a manga thread. Here, he could rest and talk about his recent favorite manga and anime.

Scrolling through the posts, the man eventually found a post that interested him.

What would you do if you got reincarnated into a manga?

It seemed like some stupid what-if scenario. If one could choose what story they wanted to get into, then they could easily abuse their knowledge about that world to achieve whatever goal they want.

However, he decided to throw away such a boring and rational answer out of his mind. He was only interested in one thing.

"Of course I would go into Dandadan and find all the occult phenomena that happen in the world. Preferably, I'd like to have Nurarihyon's power to sneak around unnoticed. Maybe joining the paranormal battle that I find interesting is also fun."

Yes, instead of seeking an easy life, this boy chose adventure. Rather than focusing on trying to gain a position that lets him live carelessly, he preferred to wander around. Although it might be hard and filled with suffering, it wouldn't be dull.

Not only that, he also loved the characters in Dandadan. It's not limited to the main, but also the side characters too.

"Jiji is an overpowered but wasted character because he can't control Evil Eye. If he get a different Youkai that he can control, then he will be invincible."

After writing down a few posts in the manga board, he checked the time, it was getting quite late now. He decided it was time for him to go to sleep soon. He changed his clothes and walked into the bedroom while turning off the light. Finally, he threw himself onto the bed.

However...

As he laid on the bed and closed his eyes, he suddenly felt chill throughout his body. Suddenly there was no comfort, everything felt so wrong as if he shouldn't be sleeping here.

The boy panicked and opened his eyes in horror. The scene before him made him realize the mistake he had made.

A shadow crept from the ceiling, with only its red eyes and creepy grin visible within darkness. Before his eyes, it descended towards him in the darkness.

"Then show us how you do it. I shall give it to you, the Youkai Lord's power."

"Aah- Aaaah!"

In a flash, he let out a scream and covered himself with a blanket, and as time passed, he finally lost consciousness.

The next day the man woke up in a cold sweat.

"What the hell?"

He sat up and breathed heavily with wide eyes. His breathing turned heavy as his mind remembered what had just happened last night.

A shadow descended and then it grinned creepily at him. And then…

"Oh no... Fuck, fuck..."

It's over for him. What was going to happen when he left his apartment? Would he get crushed by a car or murdered by someone? Just imagining it sends shivers down his spine.

As an occult believer, he knew exactly what kind of meaning that dream held.

However, what happened to him was more crazy than he could ever think of. He looked at the mirror beside him. His reflection wasn't the same as yesterday.

He used to have an average face, skinny body, and hair that fell over his forehead. But now, those aspects of him have disappeared.

Now, there was a face with sharp eyes staring back at him. His body had grown broader with muscle definition present.

Even the length of his hair changed; instead of just reaching the front, it spread evenly around the sides as well. The color also changed from black to a strange dark shade of auburn.

"No..." His voice changed as well. Instead of a low and calm one, his new voice was deeper, sharper, and cooler sounding.

Staring back at him in the mirror was Jiji's handsome appearance.

[Ding! Congratulations for entering this world! We will now send your gift]

[HOTD] Chapter 43 – Long Night

Returning to the mansion, I was given the first aid kit in my room by Shizuka.

"Fufufu, take off your clothes and lie on your back, Daiki. Also, you should do the same, Saeko. I need to check on your body too."

While I unbuttoned my shirt and threw it aside, Saeko removed hers too, stripping down slowly until she was only left with her black laced bra and tongs, and laying next to me.

Somehow, all of us ended up in our underwear except for Miss Shizuka, who was entirely naked underneath her white coat.

First of all, she straddled me and grounded her crotch against mine. With each movement came intense waves of pleasure surging through both bodies.

"Miss Shizuka, aren't you getting too aroused?" I commented wryly, noticing slick juices trickling downwards her thighs, glistening wetly on her skin.

Her cheeks flushed crimson red hue contrasting starkly against pallid complexion. Breasts jiggled rhythmically as hips gyrated seductively against the tent underneath my underwear.

"Fufufu, what do you mean? This is a treatment. Saeko, can you wait for now?"

"It's not a problem. Brother's injury is more pressing." Saeko said, rising from her position, "May I help you with it?"

"Sure. I can't reach the top area, can you help me with that?"

"Of course."

Saying so, Saeko started to strip naked. I wondered why she did that, but I figured it out a moment later.

"Excuse me, brother."

"Wai- hmpf?!"

Without giving me any warning, she sat on my face. Her wet fold pressed firmly on my lips.

"Ahn♥~"

My vision became obscured entirely thanks to the plump rear currently parked atop of my nose. Pussy juice trickled freely upon my chin whenever her hips rocked back and forth.

It was hot, musky fragrance assaulting senses relentlessly.

"Mhmm~♥"

Miss Shizuka also kept grinding her ass and pussy on my cock.

Even through the fabric separating her skin directly onto my throbbing member underneath its thin material, I could feel warmth radiating outwardly from within.

Moreover, I started to feel cold liquid spread across my body. Two pairs of hands massaging my chest and applying oils mixed with lotion. At the same time, both of them kept moaning sexily.

They rubbed my entire body sensually, paying special attention to my injuries.

"Hngm~♥~Mhh~♥~Ahmmm!♪"

My tongue pushed upwards, parting my sister's supple folds as far apart as possible before plunging deeply inside.

"Mwahh!! Ahh!!! Ohhhh!" Saeko cried loudly in ecstasy as she arched her spine upwards, her hips shaking violently back and forth while trying desperately not to choke me with excessive force being applied.

"Nnghh?! B-Brother! Calm dow- ooh♥!"

Ignoring her cry, I wrapped my arms tightly around my waist region, restraining movement completely, before thrusting my tongue once again upward towards the awaiting tunnel ahead.

"Oh my~ Saeko looks like she is enjoying this." Miss Shizuka chuckled playfully, "I want to join the fun."

I could feel her hand on my underwear, pulling it down and freeing my hard rod from confinement. Without warning whatsoever, she gripped the base firmly and positioned it perfectly between her drenched lower lips before slamming downward abruptly.

Wet squelching noises echoed loudly throughout space.

"Ugh?!" Instant surge of pure bliss shot straight into the core of my brain stem; overwhelming sensory overload nearly driving me insane instantly upon contact.

Miss Shizuka gasped audibly; breasts heaving visibly as she bounced atop of my shaft repeatedly. Every single slam downwards elicited loud slurping sounds.

Meanwhile...

"♥Ahn~ B-Brother, I am going to—Ah! ♥"

Saeko continued riding my face until she reached climax; squirting copious amounts of sweet nectar all over my face. I inserted my fingers into her quivering anus to prolong her pleasure.

Surprised by the intrusion to her sensitive hole, she buckled uncontrollably whilst emitting lewd shrieks.

"Cumming—Aaaahn!"

Saeko convulsed violently atop of me, her back arched backward, and her legs quivered erratically. Hot stream of fluids flooded forth continuously until eventually dying down moments later.

Breathing heavily, Miss Shizuka removed herself from me.

"Now, now, I think I've had enough fun. Come here, Saeko."

Obligingly, my older sister climbed downwards, settling herself between my thighs before taking the tip of my length into her pussy. My tip reached the deepest part of her vagina.

Her mouth parted wide, inhaling air greedily.

"It's... It's so big..." Saeko breathed shakily.

Without wasting further time, I started thrusting upwards. Slowly building momentum gradually until finally achieving desired rhythm.

"Ahhnn! Fuaaah!♥ Oh, brother!" Moaning ecstatically, Saeko matched pace perfectly; rocking back and forth fervently, enveloping my shaft snugly.

"It's my turn to get licked." Miss Shizuka moved closer towards me, lowering her wet pussy to my face.

Happily obliged, I stuck out my tongue and licked her outer folds first before delving deeper into her slit. Meanwhile, Saeko had increased speed significantly and bounced up and down furiously atop my cock, seemingly intent on squeezing every last ounce of cum she could.

"Ooh♥! Hgnnh!! Nghahhh! Uuuggg!!♪ Aahhhngggghhhh!!!! ♥♥~♥~!!!"

Juices sprayed everywhere as both women screamed wildly in pleasure-filled moans. My tongue lapped hungrily inside Shizuka's dripping pussy, tasting her delicious juices oozing outwards steadily from within depths of inner walls.

They moved back and forth, edging me on the brink of orgasmic bliss myself. Everytime Miss Shizuka rode my cock, Saeko would ask to get licked and vice versa.

Before long, I couldn't hold back anymore. Both of them noticed it and moved to lick my cock together.

"Cum, brother."

"Spray it all over us."

Filling them with anticipation, they stroked my throbbing erection with vigor, yearning to receive loads upon loads of semen sprayed over their faces.

Pleasure building up until I couldn't focus on anything else. I couldn't even hear that someone entered the room without permission when I erupted forcefully, spraying thick ropes of creamy cum all across their faces simultaneously.

"Wha?!"

A surprised voice rang from the intruder, but both Saeko and Miss Shizuka didn't register it in their minds. They happily accepted my cum, opening their mouth widely, letting the white stickiness land on their faces and hair.

I heaved heavily and turned to the door. There, Saya stood frozen in front of the closed door, unable to believe what she witnessed just now. Her face reddened in embarrassment.

[Dungeon] Chapter 51 – Not So Smooth First Try

"Itachi and Kisame... They were banned?"

[Yes. I have saved the footage of their offense.]

The one that answered Cain wasn't the system, but the assistant. A screen appeared in front of him, playing the replay of two ninja trespassing the entrance. They entered the Fun Fun Dungeon! immediately.

In the beginning, they showed enough vigilance while dealing with the traps, though there weren't too many in the Tutorial Floor. Just some signs that instructed them to be careful, with some additional details here and there.

Nothing threatening until they reached the end of the corridor.

At the final step, they fought Chicken Jockey, a meme mob that Cain had prepared specifically for this reason.

But it proved to be useless as Kisame defeated them easily.

At that time, the smiley taunted them before opening the door.

"Pfttt!" Cain almost choked.

"Ha... hahahahaha! That was epic!" Laughing at his success in trolling them, the boy pointed at the replay video.

When Kisame punched the sign and got punished by the system, Cain felt the urge to give the blue-skinned man thumbs up. To think someone would fall for such a cheap provocation.

"How much Coins did I get from them?"

[It's 320 Coins.]

"That's a lot."

For one floor without any mob, 320 Coins were plenty enough. Especially considering the fact that they didn't collect any chest either, leaving the item untouched.

They only took one dungeon coin.

"They will come for sure. Anyway, it's time to use the avatar. I want to experience diving into my dungeon and do some adventure.”

Then, he selected yes and his consciousness was shifted.

The throne room was no more. He saw the Hub that he created to welcome his guest. The hub, with its various gates connecting to different dungeons, was quiet. None of the challengers entered since that day.

Which meant, Cain was free to explore.

"Wow..." He was amazed by his own creation.

Seeing it through his own eyes was different compared to looking at them on the monitor.

It looked so real. The lights that lit up the whole hub were a bit dimmer than he thought, but it didn't matter much. He looked around, finding the mirror he placed in a few places and ran toward it.

There, his created avatar was reflected.

"Muahahaha! My new body is awesome! I am handsome!" He shouted and admired himself.

Not only did he admire himself, he felt stronger than before. As if a hidden power surged throughout his body. He raised his hand, clenching them hard.

A sword and shield strapped on his back. His red eyes hidden slightly by white hair glowed ominously.

"This is great! Haahahaha!"

As a result of messing up with settings a lot, his appearance looked similar to his original self, but his hair became smooth and straight instead of spiky. Also...

"Hmm, my original self still looks better." He nodded to himself, slightly proud.

Still, with white hair and red eyes, there would be no way someone would mistake him for normal humans. The aura around him already showed him as something superior, though he himself couldn't feel it.

He knew, because he saw his own reflection in the mirror.

"Now, which dungeon should I try?"

There were two, Tower of Resentment or Elemental Tower. Both were the only dungeons he opened to the public aside from Fun Fun Dungeon!, the tutorial dungeon.

"I have a tank build with a high VIT. Dealing with a strong monster alone might be impossible, so..."

Tower of Resentment's second floor had skeletons and zombies. They had a basic F-rank status, so a weak attack to their weaknesses could take them out easily.

Not only that, they were also humanoid monsters that Cain set to spawn in a group of 3 to 5, perfect for testing his skills against multiple enemies at once.

While a normal challenger would be worried, Cain knew exactly how the monsters worked because he was the one who set them. He knew everything, the spawn point, weaknesses, and even the hidden room.

"I don't think I will visit the hidden room. Let's just learn how to fight, then."

Without wasting any more seconds, he headed into the Tower of Resentment's gate. Once inside, his sight went dark for a moment, before he felt cold air.

After regaining his vision, he found himself standing in the dark corridor with an eerie atmosphere.

"Oh, the first spawn point."

Cain had set 5 different spawn points, creating a star shape in the second floor. The first one was this, where Rias' group spawned back then. The second was a foggy graveyard where Naruto's group spawned.

"No one visited the rest of them. Well, it's good then. Rias has taken care of most of the monster her with her group, so there are only a few left and the newly spawned one."

Equipping his Prototype Shield and Sword that matched his silver plate armor, Cain felt ready to fight the monster. His lips curled up into a smile as he advanced forward.

Before long, he spotted a pile of bones in the middle of the corridor. Knowing they were skeletons, Cain wasted no time getting close and crushed their head, the weak spot.

He was confident that he could do this because he had watched many fights before.

Also, as expected from undead creatures. Their lack of brain and self awareness made them easy prey, thus no one tried to stop him.

Clang!

Or so he thought.

"Huh?"

The skull only cracked when he wacked it with his sword. It survived, and three skeletons stood up while holding their crude swords.

Cain stepped backward to prepare his defensive stance. All three of them rushed at once, but thanks to his shield, he managed to block all three of them simultaneously.

However, he was pushed back.

"Oh no!"

It was at that time he realized something. STR was also needed to defend against the attack. If he had a high defense but low strength, the enemy could push him backward like what just happened.

If Cain had chosen AGI build, he could evade and counter attack. Also...

Clang!

"It hurt!"

The pain from receiving an attack was unbearable for a normal teenager like him, something that he couldn't get used to. Even when he was covered by plate armor, his body felt numb when a sword struck him.

"You damn skeleton!"

Swinging his sword, Cain failed to hit one of the skeletons directly. Its body shattered upon impact, but they wouldn't die unless he crushed their skull. When he tried to do so, the other two skeletons assaulted him at the same time, causing his attack to miss.

"You freaking asshole!"

Feeling numbness all over his body, Cain became angry.

"Enough!" He decided to go on offensive instead of being on defense all the time.

Jumping backward, Cain avoided one horizontal slash that came dangerously close to his chest area. Using his left foot as pivot, he spun and slammed his shield onto the skeleton that just attacked him, smashing its entire body.

Its companion also suffered the same fate afterward, but the first skeleton had already returned to normal and rushed toward him. It was the one with a cracked skull.

Crack!

"Die already!" Swinging the shield upward, Cain aimed his strike at the skeleton's jawbone. "Now... To finish you off!"

He raised his sword to crush the head.

Crash!

His sword managed to destroy the skeleton, ending its life. Before he could rejoice, however, a sword stabbed from his back to the front. A skeleton got him unaware.

Cain groaned painfully. Thanks to his VIT, the sword only managed to scratch him, but it hurt nonetheless.

Pissed, Cain smashed the skeleton who attacked him from behind with his shield, destroying it in one strike.

"Dammit! Fucking skeletons! Who created them? Oh right, it was me!"

They had F rank status which meant their VIT were paper thin. But Cain, not used to combat at all in his life, was having a hard time against the three of them.

Now that there was only one left, he confidently raised his shield to deflect its sword. Without waiting, he slashed horizontally, but then the skeleton jumped back to avoid.

"What? It can dodge?! Bullshit!"

Angry and feeling challenged, Cain stepped forward and thrust his sword.

Crash!

This time, the skeleton wasn't fast enough to evade. His sword shattered its body and he used his shield to bash the skull to pieces.

"Phew... Damn, fighting is hard. Stats alone can't help you win..." He complained, falling down and sitting while taking a deep breath.

Nothing dropped from the three skeletons, not that he hoped for anything. Rather, he felt tired and spent.

"Huh, what do I expect anyway? At least I have an idea what kind of monster I will put in the higher floor of this dungeon. Fighting is hard for me, but not for Devils and Ninja."

Naruto, Rias, they both looked cool defeating many monsters effortlessly. It was time for him to make some strong boss with special powers and skill. Like Wendigo in Elemental Tower, he could create a monster based on urban legend.

As he rested, the clock ticked slowly. About 30 minutes later, Cain stood up.

"Okay, next is... escape. Being solo as a tank is not possible. Let's join a party next time."

With that said, Cain hurriedly escaped from the floor by returning to the entrance where the exit door was located. He returned to the Hub once again, sighing in relief.

"Well, it's been fun but not very satisfying. I can buy special skills such as Swordsmanship or Fighting Instinct, but that costs too much. 5,000 Coins are out of my budget right now."

He looked up to the empty ceiling of the hub, imagining stars floating far away.

"Well, guess it's time to return to the throne room. Let's put this avatar here. In case someone enters, I can join their party."

[HOTD] Chapter 42 – Rescue Team and Underground

Rei and Saeko went into the mall to fetch some water for us. Although Saeko was injured, she was adamant to fetch some food.

"I also want to straighten things out with her, so this is a perfect time." She told me that before disappearing with Rei.

Saya sat on the chair next to Takashi with her head hung low. She looked dejected and somewhat irritated. Both hands folded together rested firmly upon her thighs.

"So," she said quietly, breaking the silence "That thing outside..."

"The big giant with weird veins and stuff?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Yeah..." She hesitated slightly before continuing, "What was it?"

"That is..." I paused momentarily, gathering thoughts properly inside my mind.

It would be strange if I knew that thing existed since no one even knew where the zombies came from. Maybe the story would change if they knew that zombies were biologically manufactured as weapons and became out of control based on Umbrella Corporation's background.

But there was no point for me to say this anyway. Let alone about T-Virus, virus outbreak, or Bio Organic Weapons. All of them were still unknown.

"...a powerful mutated zombie." I answered.

Saya glanced back up and stared directly into my eyes. Then, she seemed to fall into a deep thought and nodded to herself.

"That's possible. Even viruses can mutate and become something else. If a virus can revive people and turn them into zombies, then there is a possibility that it changes and turns someone into that thing. A human with a big body size might have a bigger chance to change into one."

Takashi fell silent listening to Saya. It didn't take long before he broke it with a question aimed at her, "What is the possibility for such virus mutation to happen in nature?"

"There are always possibilities in nature. Especially viruses." She sighed and leaned back slightly on her seat before continuing further, "They mutate in unpredictable ways so you never know when and where things could change."

"So there may be another mutated zombie like that." I interjected curiously while gazing outwards through large windows nearby. "Don't forget birds, animals, and fish that could also get infected with this virus."

"That would be scary." Saya shivered visibly despite the warm temperature surrounding us.

She looked pale and slightly disheveled; no doubt thinking about potential danger posed by wildlife creatures turning aggressive due to infectious disease spreading rapidly among animal populations.

"That means nowhere will be safe. The virus might also prevent the flesh from decaying too fast. So even if decades pass, it might still remain and roam the streets." I added.

Both Takashi and Saya nodded solemnly at my remark. I too felt gloomy hearing my own words uttered aloud.

My plan had to change. Returning society to normal was impossible. Creating a shelter that housed thousands might be the limit. A whole city would be hard work. And there was no point in living in modern society if everywhere became ghost cities filled with zombies.

It meant my idea to create a city of commerce that gathered survivors from across Japan might fail. To create a trade route, I might need to clear every city and connect them.

'It would take a year or two clearing only one route. And to go overseas, it might need more. Unless I have a plane or something that I can use. Maybe a cruise ship... Nah, fuck that. Ship and zombie apocalypse only mean death flag.'

Thinking about this problem was useless if I didn't have a clue to cure the virus. Even if I had access to many things in my shop, none of them could cure the virus for cheap.

'If Umbrella exists in this world, then the hint to make a cure will be in their lab.'

Racoon City Incident and Raccoon City Outbreak Game event. Their lab might have clues for me. At least I won't have to worry about searching blindly. At worst, I could search for Leon S Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Chris, Ada Wong, and Jill Valentine if they existed in this world.

Being with them would increase my safety.

Yes, creating a shelter with strong and reliable people might be a better plan for now.

As we waited, Saeko and Rei returned with bottled waters and crackers. The latter's expression didn't seem all too great though when handing them out.

Perhaps because of what transpired earlier? Something definitely happened between her and Saeko when they fetched the water.

I didn't really care and just focused on drinking.

Following that, we planned our way back to the mansion, but that seemed to be unnecessary.

Vroom!

A familiar sound could be heard from the outside and I quickly recognized what that was. Rushing to the exit with Saeko and the others behind me, I saw three men and one beautiful woman exiting a humvee.

Seeing them, our expression lit up. I couldn't help but feel happy too because reinforcements had arrived, although they were really late.

Logically, I would return to Takagi Mansion along with the others right away.

However, I was too curious about the underground that Takashi mentioned and decided to check it out. As much as I wanted to go alone, I wasn't allowed to due to my injury. Don Takagi was with me while the others were waiting outside.

Going downstairs using the staff entrance, we quickly located the entrance to the underground.

"This is curious." Don Takagi said as we looked at the entrance, "The metal door is smashed. And there is a handprint of blood here."

Yes, the metal door was smashed open from inside.

The culprit? Most probably Tyrant Nishimura.

And that made it easier for us to enter what seemed like a larger room. Light constantly flickered ominously above our heads illuminating otherwise pitch black darkness encasing our vicinity.

Small particles of dust wafting gently around us. A faint odor reminiscent rotting meat permeated throughout the room, with some liquid creating a puddle on the ground.

Glass tubes illuminated brightly by light emitted from overhead ceiling fixtures. Some contained fluids similar in coloration and viscosity as water, whereas others possessed thicker consistency reminiscent of mucus mixed alongside brownish grey substance.

A multitude of pipes ran criss-crossed pattern beneath translucent panels lining the opposite wall; leading downward towards a pit filled to the brim containing murky reddish brown colored fluid.

Several machines lined one side; large cylindrical tubes containing clear liquid mixture connected via transparent hose running upward towards the upper section housing the filtration device.

And amidst them all, one tube was broken, the glass shattered apart. I looked around and exchanged glances with Don Takagi.

"Keep this a secret." He whispered to me, "If this information goes out, it can cause panic among our members."

"Yes, sir." I nodded understandingly. I wanted to ask a lot about his knowledge, whether he knew about it or not, but I knew it wasn't the right time to do so.

However, I judged that he knew nothing from his reaction. This project didn't involve him at all, and even a person of his stature was kept in the dark.

Maybe this lab was an illegal one, and the one who created them might be people related to Umbrella Corp. One that had authority and power. Or maybe an associate to the government. With a small lab like this, there might be no records or documents to keep.

'Still, there should be some traces left behind.'

"Let's get some documents or research about what they did here."

As soon as I spoke, Don Takagi agreed and went to gather all possible documentation available.

Afterward, we searched meticulously throughout the entire laboratory. We didn't dare to touch the cables or broken tube. Some of them still leaked and dripped down to the floor, causing a puddle to form underneath its surface.

Fortunately enough; nothing happened during our search. We returned to the surface soon with a bunch of documents in hand, unaware whether they were useful or not.

[HOTD] Chapter 41 – Don Takagi’s Worries

A few minutes ago.

In Takagi Mansion, Takagi Souichirou and his wife, Yuriko, stood in his office, looking at the refugee camp he set up in his mansion's garden. His eyes full of concern seeing his daughter nowhere.

"Is the plan going well?"

"Of course. All your subordinates, medical personnel, engineers, and people needed for self-sufficient lives such as those who know how to farm have been listed. We can move anywhere, but..."

"The unknown dangers are lurking."

Souichirou narrowed his eyes.

Indeed, there were countless mysteries awaiting him should they leave their home base here – one being why this catastrophe occurred in the first place without any warning beforehand or indication beforehand? What exactly happened? Who did it? Was anyone behind everything? And most importantly...

How long until things return back to normalcy again?

Heaving a heavy sigh; he gazed outside the window once more, observing surroundings beyond confines within the perimeter established by sturdy stone walls protecting inhabitants dwelling inside from danger.

"About the dog that you saw in the factory." Yuriko started. She remembered something when he mentioned zombie dogs before. "Have you confirmed it?"

"Yes. Two of my men who accompanied me to the factory confirmed it too."

"Then it will become a problem. If a dog can become a zombie, it's safe to assume cats and even bears, or maybe birds can turn too." The beautiful middle-aged woman crossed her arms. She stared at the wall with a contemplative look. "We can secure ourselves with tall walls, but it won't defend us against flying objects."

"That's right. But-"

"Excuse me!"

Just as they discussed the plan to survive further, the door opened widely and a man wearing a guard uniform entered the room. He was Nakamura. He panted heavily while giving his report to Souichirou.

"Sir! Miss Takagi and her group have gone missing!"

Souichirou's eyes widened and Yuriko gasped at the sudden revelation. Their expression shifted drastically within a span of seconds ranging between anger and confusion respectively.

"When? Where? How?"

"W-When I was on guard, one of Miss Takagi's friends returned while being covered in wounds. Daiki... He and his sister now come to rescue them in the mall. P-Please send rescue!" He bowed deeply. "The ambushers are... h-human."

"They went to a mall?" Souichirou scratched his chin. "Was it the mall near the school?"

"Y-Yes. Please send reinforcements."

"Then I'll send some."

Both husband and wife turned their attention to each other briefly before nodding resolutely simultaneously without hesitation whatsoever.

Their daughter had gotten herself caught up amidst chaos ensuing all around them; therefore urgent action was necessary. Not to mention the ambusher who attacked his daughter was another group of humans.

Left unchecked could potentially lead towards even greater disaster down road ahead. Moreover, this information alone provided adequate reason enough to warrant immediate intervention.

"Dear, send our men with guns. I will fortify our defense system in this place."

Yuriko advised her husband wisely, knowing full extent capabilities possessed by his subordinates.

"I will go myself with Yoshioka and Honda. Also, we might need medical attention, so I will bring the nurse that worked in Saya's school."

"That might be better. She can also drive the humvee to rescue them. Matsudo has fixed most parts already."

Souichirou nodded resolutely once more.

He then turned away and grabbed his sword resting atop desk surface behind him.

"Let's go." He said to Nakamura and walked out.

After calling Honda and Yoshioka to prepare themselves, Souichirou gave out commands. Moving fast was the key and they prepared themselves accordingly.

Shizuka was also informed and immediately agreed to help. Fortunately the medical tent had already calmed down after a hectic hour dealing with many patients.

And with haste, they departed towards the location.

Meanwhile...

***

"You subdued them all?" I asked Saya after entering the mall again.

Inside, we found Takashi, Rei, and Saya, standing in front of 3 grown men kneeling on the ground. Apparently they tried to attack the group once they entered, but Takashi shot one of them in the leg and threatened them to surrender.

As a result, no one else resisted and the rest surrendered.

"Hmph!" Saya snorted. She crossed her arms while glaring at the men in front of them, "Disgusting stupid bastards. You think I will let you lay a hand on me? You should be thankful that he didn't shoot further up, you stupid!"

From what she said, I could imagine their encounter with the men. They didn't need to elaborate on it to make me realize.

"Do you have anything that could bind them up?" I asked the group, particularly Takashi.

He nodded and told Rei to tie them up with the rope in the store. It seemed the survivor camp kept some equipment to capture 'unwanted guests'. Unfortunately, their rope would be used against them instead of the guests.

Also, the number of people here was too low, only 3 people left. We killed 4 earlier, so there should be more than this. But where could they hide? Maybe they escaped? Or did they get killed by a Tyrant?

"Oh right, senior." Takashi called me, handing me a gun, "This is the handgun you lent me earlier. I haven't used it yet, so I will return it to you."

"You didn't use this?"

"Yes, I picked the one on the top floor... You know, from the police that shot us. There are still 4 bullets, 3 now that I used one."

I raised my eyebrows, not expecting him to pick the handgun from before. I kinda left it behind back then because we had to move fast.

'Good thing they picked it up.'

It saved me trouble when going back to the top floor.

Anyway...

'I don't want to stay here for too long, but our stamina has drained. If I wanted to travel all the way back to the mansion, then we needed to rest for a bit longer. I have a good stamina stat, but everyone else doesn't have that privilege.'

Their complexion clearly showed exhaustion.

We had to rest at least until our reinforcements arrived. I already asked Miss Shizuka and even Nakamura to tell Don Takagi about Saya's whereabouts. But whether he could arrive in time was another problem altogether.

'Well, they are already late. If they arrived when we fought Tyrant outside, that would really help.'

[Dungeon] Chapter 50 – Banned!

When the little zombie lost its chicken, it began to cry and ran toward Kisame.

Usually, people would show compassion at the heartbroken moment. But, alas, that was not what happened to Kisame. The moment he was within range, Kisame brought his sword down.

"Kuahahaha!"

"Pathetic." Itachi commented.

"I can't let him escape." Kisame laughed.

They searched their surroundings after killing the monster. A door suddenly appeared with a sign on top of it.

The sign had something similar to a mocking face drawn on it. The emoji seemed to be taunting them somehow. A perfect expression to infuriate someone like Kisame.

[You need that long to defeat a single Chicken Jockey? Pathetic!]

[Exit is this way, loser. Congratulations for finishing the tutorial. At the slowest pace, that is! Hahaha!]

"I'm gonna kill that guy." Kisame grumbled.

Itachi activated his Sharingan again. He stared intently at the writing, but there were no signs of genjutsu being cast upon them. Thus, he concluded it wasn't fake and they truly had no choice but to walk forward.

Before that, both of them decided to examine the defeated monster's corpse. But when they turned around, the chicken and the zombie Kisame killed earlier had already gone.

In its place, a single shiny coin.

"That's..." Kisame approached, picked the coin, and examined it. "What the hell is this? There is a skull drawing on it."

"Keep it for now, we might need it later." Itachi said.

"Okay."

Their attention turned toward the mocking smiley on the exit door.

"Should we destroy it?" Kisame suggested.

"Up to you."

With a grin, Kisame took a deep breath and punched the smiling face sign. His fist, which could destroy any rock easily, couldn't crack nor dent the signboard.

"...What the heck?!"

A loud laughter echoed as both Itachi and Kisame looked up toward the ceiling. The sound of air blowing could be heard coming from nowhere and anywhere at once.

Someone, perhaps the mastermind, or maybe another intruder, was enjoying this entertainment to the fullest. There were few possibilities as to why, but one thing was for sure...

They were definitely pissed off. No matter what, the bastard who owned this place must be destroyed!

However, they didn't know it.

[You have broken the dungeon's rule.]

The voice became distorted, low and heavy as it vibrated through the air, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it.

Being in the battlefield and experiencing something far worse than death itself, Itachi's instinct quickly urged him to act fast.

Grabbing Kisame's hand, he dragged his partner away.

"Itachi? Hey! Why are you–"

No explanation. Without warning, Itachi pulled his comrade behind the cover of the walls.

[A futile attempt.]

Lightning struck from above, striking Kisame on his left shoulder.

"Guh!"

A spark burst out, followed by a brief burning sensation on Kisame's shoulder as electricity flowed through his body. His muscles tensed and trembled briefly, his limbs twitching.

Immediately after that, the voice rang once again.

[Punishment delivered.]

[Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame are now banned from the dungeon for a week for breaking the dungeon's rule.]

[No one is allowed to destroy or attempt to destroy the tutorial dungeon's property.]

[Reflect on your action for a week. If you repeat this behavior again in the future, the ban duration will increase.]

With that, both of them got teleported outside the dungeon, back to the street of Konoha without having any chance to resist.

Meanwhile, Cain was busy putting the final touches on his avatar.

"...finally done."

─ Cain (Dungeon Avatar)

─ Race: Vampire

STR: E

VIT: A-

AGI: D-

MP: E

HP: 350/350

Trait:

─ Sunlight Weakness: -1% HP per 10 seconds under the sunlight. Not working when you are at full HP. This effect cannot be blocked. Sunlight doesn't include moonlight or fire, only true sun from the sky.

─ Slight Physical Enhancement: You gain 15% stats increase when fighting in darkness or night.

Modified Trait:

─ Tough Body: Increase VIT by one level.

─ Fast Regeneration (humanoid): Improve your natural regeneration by 150%

Seeing the status of his newly created avatar, he nodded in satisfaction. The white-haired boy with red eyes, holding a large shield and a sword, was shown on the screen.

He wore full-plate armor, making him look like a knight. No matter how he saw it, it was like he was going to do a tank role.

"Ehehehe."

Cain chuckled, imagining his awesome adventures in the outside world. He was already addicted to playing as the Dungeon Master, watching other people struggling against his traps, puzzles, and monsters. He wished he could join those adventurers too.

Unfortunately, being the dungeon master, he couldn't just leave the dungeon. But that changed now!

"I even equipped him with a magical sword and shield."

Item Name: Prototype Sword (Rare)

Item Description: The first sword created by Dungeon Maker. It has increased sharpness, durability, and is easier to swing around.

Item Effect:

─ +20% ATK damage

─ +10% chance to cut enemy's limb off

Item Name: Prototype Shield (Rare)

Item Description: The first shield created by Dungeon Maker. It is harder than diamond yet lightweight. It can withstand massive blows without taking any scratch.

Item Effect:

─ -50% Damage received

─ 10% chance to reflect incoming projectile.

Creating the character and the items cost him a whole 10,600 Coins, leaving him with a mere 1,020 Coins. However, he didn't regret it.

While neither of the equipment were anything special, both items had high potential. He would need to create more and sell them, especially if he wanted to attract the challengers to visit something he planned to create next.

Then, a blue window appeared in his vision, prompting him.

[Are you ready to spawn?]

A question popped up, asking whether he was ready or not.

As much as he wanted to go down there right now, Cain didn't forget his main job as the dungeon maker.

"System, show me the notification I missed when I was creating the avatar."

Following his command, the notifications he missed appeared in front of him one by one. He dismissed the unimportant one, until he stopped.

[Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame are now banned from the dungeon for a week for breaking the dungeon's rule.]

"Huh?"

It seemed like something big happened when he didn't pay attention.

[HOTD] Chapter 40 – Versus Tyrant

"Sis, I plan to deal with that big guy. Support me." I called out to Saeko and pointed at the tyrant with my gun. I had 15 bullets left, including the last six shots from my last attempt to kill the zombies around us.

Only this rifle's bullet had the chance to hurt Tyrant from a long range. A pistol would be useless.

As for short range...

'Let's not take any risk for now. My body already took damage from the punch earlier.'

"I understand!"

My sister took her stance. Her grip tightened firmly around the handle and the blade reflected light eerily amidst dim moonlight.

Secretly, I bought 2 more hand grenades from the store and kept them in my vest. I would definitely use them, but for now...

Ratata!

I shot the Tyrant Nishimura in his face, lodging a few bullets right on his cheek and forehead.

A couple of shells scattered nearby creating a ringing sound echoing through the otherwise silent night environment. Blackish ichor streamed down its face leaving ugly trails marking pathways traveled beneath the disfigured surface.

Unfortunately, none of them penetrated deeper than the outer layer, making little effect overall.

"ROAAAARRR!!!!" Annoyed with me, he charged toward my direction.

Each of his steps caused tremors reverberating throughout surroundings, shaking everything around us. Pavement cracked underneath its feet, creating a gaping hole where concrete buckled apart upon contact. Windows rattled violently threatening imminent collapse.

With just a few steps, he covered half the distance between us. I quickly shot his legs, one on each joint to slow him down. But the bullets were stopped by its thick muscle.

'So tough. I need a bigger caliber.' I grumbled and pulled the grenade's pin.

"Jump away."

Shouting, I threw the grenade at the incoming Tyrant.

I jumped back with Saeko to the other side, avoiding the blast radius from my own weapon.

BAANG!

I heard the sound of an explosion. Followed soon after came flash accompanied by searing heat emanating outwardly, followed closely thereafter intense wave shockwaves rippling throughout the entire vicinity.

"GUUOAAAHHH!!!"

Wild roars rang aloud mixed amongst deafening thunderclap. I picked myself up and looked at the Tyrant, whose body was now riddled with wounds, both explosion and burning marks alike.

Yet despite grievous injury dealt unto him moments prior; he remained standing defiantly undeterred, glaring balefully our way.

"Kuh! Still standing." I mused wryly, dismayed by the sight unfolded before me.

Even with such a terrible state; it still possessed ample strength required to keep itself upright.

"What is that monster?"

Even Saeko seemed perplexed at the current situation unfolding right before our very eyes. For someone like herself, witnessing a powerful opponent standing unfazed despite being blown apart surely unnerved greatly.

Though not surprising given the fact that her sword proved ineffective against the formidable foe we faced right now.

"Something outrageous, that's for sure." I answered with a wry smile.

Most of the zombies in our surrounding had been defeated, leaving only two of them. I quickly shot them in the head so we could focus on Tyrant.

'I have 9 bullets left.'

I hope it was enough. Even if I bought some new bullets, I would need to put them manually in my magazines. There was indeed a magazine for M1A1, along with 20 bullets inside, but it cost 20 Shop Points, which meant 1 point per bullet.

For the record, I could get 100 bullets for 45 Shop Points.

Unless it was for an emergency later, I definitely didn't want to waste my points. Not after I knew that bullets didn't do much damage to Tyrant.

Maybe if I had a Magnum, the story would be different.

Because the Tyrant was still standing still, I decided to take a look at my status.

[Name: Busujima Daiki

Strength: 21 | Agility: 22 | Stamina: 23 | Dexterity: 20

Skills: Busujima Swordsmanship (Intermediate), Marksmanship (Intermediate)

Shop Points: 1,445 P]

Somehow, my status grew more than I thought. Counting the reward, it shouldn't grow this much, but I did remember that physical activities would also allow me to increase my stat.

More importantly...

'I have 1,445 Shop Points. Grenades work pretty well against Tyrant, especially the explosion. This type of Tyrant might be weak against the explosion.'

Might as well buy a Molotov to burn it. It cost 30 Shop Points in the shop.

"Brother, it's coming."

Before I could buy it, Saeko's voice pulled me out of my contemplative state. I snapped my attention back onto the battlefield where the Tyrant rushed toward us.

I observed it closely and noticed a heart sticking outside his body. That must be his weak point, but I wasn't sure.

Only one way to find out.

Ratata!

I unloaded my clip in Tyrant's chest where his heart pulsating wildly.

Bullets dug deep within thick layers of flesh exposed underneath rugged exterior. Dark crimson liquid flowed forth profusely, coating the entire area stained red viscous fluid.

Tyrant staggered backwards under barrage assault delivered nonstop ceaselessly.

Using this chance, Saeko rushed forward. She noticed the area that I targeted.

"It's weakened!"

Without hesitation; she swung the sword downward. The sharp edge sliced cleanly straight across the heart. A spray of hot steamy blood bathed her combat uniform.

The tyrant groaned loudly, but he wasn't dead yet. He reeled backward several paces, holding the wound tightly closed using its massive palm.

His eyes narrowed sharply, glinting malevolently.

Then, it suddenly rushed toward Saeko with surprising speed. The ground cracked beneath his feet, leaving a deep footprint embedded in the asphalt surface. He moved even faster than before, catching her off guard.

"Duck!" I shouted and threw the grenade over the Tyrant's head.

Once it passed him, it exploded immediately.

Saeko threw herself flat on the pavement to avoid shrapnel raining down around us. She covered her ears instinctively, blocking out the deafening blast that followed shortly afterward.

"Grr!"

Tyrant's advance was stopped by the blast. His body blew backwards, landing hard on the ground with a loud thud. Dirt kicked up from force impacting earth surrounding its body. The skin burnt horribly, revealing pinkish flesh underneath his skull.

With my remaining 3 bullets, I shot the opening to destroy his brain. And finally...

"It stopped moving." I heaved a heavy sigh, slumping exhaustedly onto the pavement.

Saeko picked herself up, her body was covered in dust and blood. Injuries were apparent, cuts and bruises filled her arms and body.

"Are you okay?" She asked me concernedly.

"I am alright. Just tired." I replied reassuringly, attempting the best smile I could muster.

Somehow that was more exhausting than saving Don Takagi. Not to mention, both of us were injured now.

"You did well, sis." I praised Saeko and stood up, dusting my pants. "For now, let's enter the mall and rest. Takashi and the others are probably waiting anxiously now."

"Let me help you." Saeko extended her arm to offer assistance which I gladly accepted gratefully.

"Hmmm..."

Just as we were about to move, I saw something laying near the Tyrant's body. When I got closer, I could see what it was.

"A key card...?"

It was something not too special. However, the red and white logo that resembled an umbrella was something I couldn't casually ignore.

I am fucked.

[Ding! You have received 1,500 Shop Points + 5 All Stats]

Well, that made my day a bit better.

'Fuck you! From the bottom of my heart.'

[Dungeon] Chapter 49 – Akatsuki Join the Fray!

Cain didn't know how much time had passed since he focused on creating the avatar.

Because he already had an Assistant System, he didn't bother to look at the Hub all the time now. He just immersed himself in the character creation, trying to decide on what skills and traits his avatar should have.

Meanwhile, some groups entered his dungeon. Two guys wearing black coats and had red clouds motif as design on the back entered through Elemental Tower's door. While Uchiha Itachi observed the surroundings, the blue-skinned guy walked further ahead without care.

"This place seems dangerous. Kisame, be careful."

"Fufufufufu. Don't worry, Itachi. I'm not stupid." Kisame said as he looked at his sword, Samehada. "It looks like there is nothing here."

"It's a strange place. Look at these strange furniture and everything. It's too unnatural." Itachi commented, walking closer to investigate.

The hub was designed using the combination of medieval and modern times building style, mostly because Cain had no knowledge about advanced technology. At most, the electricity and other stuff came from games and light novels he read before.

Thus, it wasn't weird seeing modern architecture lined together next to medieval one, creating a contrast that both blended well despite having opposite characteristics.

"There are three doors. Exit? I guess that's where we leave." Kisame read the signs above each door. "Fun Fun Dungeon! and Elemental Tower, huh? And the one in the middle..."

"A similar gate to the one outside." Itachi said. "Let's try to enter one."

"You lead the way and I will defeat the enemies."

Itachi sighed. After inspecting everything around them and ensuring there were no traps, he decided to check the gate with Fun Fun Dungeon! written on top.

Entering, both of them were greeted with colorful doors and road signs that gave instructions where they had to go.

[This is a tutorial dungeon! We will teach you the basic rules about this place!]

The first warning sign, followed by several others. They were rather short.

"Hoho. Interesting." Kisame whistled, amused at the sight of cute pictures accompanying the instructions.

The floor tiles had different colors depending on where they should go. There was also a trap on the floor, which was painted in red alongside a warning.

[There will be many traps in the dungeon. Even when there is no monster, danger lurks everywhere! Be prepared!]

Kisame frowned at that.

"Heheheheh. What is this place? They even give the traps for us to avoid?"

"Be careful." Itachi said. His eyes suddenly turned red with three tomoes swirling around the pupil.

The Sharingan.

He carefully inspected everything, including the sign.

'It isn't genjutsu...' He thought. 'But there is definitely something wrong with this place.'

Even though his sharingan couldn't detect anything unusual, he couldn't help but feel wary. They advanced through the dungeon, reading all signs along the way.

At the end of the corridor filled with signs, they saw a black door.

[Now that you understand the basics of the dungeon, please proceed through the door in front of you! It's time to fight a monster!]

Both of the Akatsuki members exchanged glances.

Kisame held his sword tightly, ready to fight.

Itachi also prepared himself. His sharingan kept spinning. They opened the black door and proceeded slowly.

There was a huge room. It was lit by torches attached to the dirt wall, giving enough light for them to see clearly.

Looking around, Itachi spotted nothing unusual. Yes, nothing unusual except for a single chicken in the middle of the room.

"Chicken?"

Even an Akatsuki member, who had experienced many battles and fought many strong opponents, found the situation baffling. When they stepped forward, however, the chicken turned to face them.

Its eyes flashed red, and the ceiling opened, lowering a box that could as well fit a person inside.

Then, it slowly lowered and positioned right on top of the chicken.

"Be careful." Itachi warned.

As if on cue, the box opened and something dropped. A green, small humanoid figure fell in front of them with thud.

It groaned, rising to its knees. With sharp fangs showing and nasty looks, the creature growled, revealing its hostility. Then, as if they were one to begin with, the creature climbed onto the chicken and mounted it.

A strange applause rang from nowhere, followed by words Itachi couldn't comprehend.

[Chicken Jockey!]

[Don't underestimate it, as it's a menacing monster to society!]

The chicken jockey, a combination of zombie and chicken, glared menacingly at the Akatsuki duo. Its small frame wasn't intimidating at all.

Itachi narrowed his eyes. With just one glance, he was able to see its movements and predicted how much strength this thing possessed.

"Weak." Itachi concluded, not surprised.

"Hahahaha! Does it really want to fight? Let me handle this one." Kisame laughed, approaching the weak chicken jockey.

"Stay alert!"

"Yes yes, whatever."

Kisame stopped not far from the chicken while Samehada, his shark-sword, began trembling under the bandage. Then, a faint current could be seen running along the spines of the shark-skin.

"Fish Fang!"

In one quick movement, Kisame swung the blade down toward the chicken jockey.

"Kook!"

Surprisingly, the chicken jumped backward and evaded the attack with grace of a ballerina.

"What?"

"Kukka kuku! Koo!"

It seemed that the zombie also learned the language of chicken and could speak. However, none of them understood. Both Itachi and Kisame watched as the chicken and its zombie rider pranced around mockingly.

"Hmph." Kisame gritted his teeth.

An insult didn't need to be understood. It just needed to work.

"Fine then, let's see you eat this!" This time, instead of attacking by swinging his sword, he charged forward.

He stabbed his sword repeatedly, but the zombie rider steered his chicken masterfully. Despite looking slow, a normal human would have died.

"Chiki chi chiki!"

"Shut up!" Kisame bellowed and kicked the chicken's head. He then slashed the chicken vertically, cleaving the body into two.

The rider fell onto the ground, squirming and growling, but the threat was gone.

[HOTD] Chapter 39 – Tyrant

Frankly speaking, Highschool Of The Dead’s original story never went into detail about small details like this. Which was understandable considering it was written as an action, gore, and fanservice harem manga.

And based on how everything happened, it wasn't part of the plot at all.

"Maybe it's not important for us. Let's go again." I stood up and told the others.

While I said that, I did think this underground facility was important and planned to visit alone later. There was something that I was suspicious about. Especially why would they go so far to keep it secret from us.

And that cop, Nishimura...

An interrogation might be needed.

We began to move once again after 3 minutes. The footsteps from below had scattered around, I believed they tried to find us around the first to third floor. Perfect to allow us escape.

I handed my handgun to Takashi, one I believed would shoot in the case of an emergency. He needed it to protect our rear or the girls when I and Saeko were too far away.

We moved carefully and I told everyone to stay calm and walk normally. Running footsteps were always easier to hear compared to normal ones. However, it meant we had to suppress our urge to run away in this dangerous situation.

"...find them?"

When we almost reached the stopped escalator to head downstairs, I heard voices nearby. I gestured for them to hide before taking a peek myself.

Two people were walking around with makeshift weapons in hand, one carrying a wrench while the other brandished crowbar. They conversed calmly as they searched throughout the vast shopping center.

"Should we kill them?" Saeko whispered close to my ears.

Her warm breath tickled me slightly, sending tingles across my skin.

"No. Killing them here will give our location away." I rejected her plan after considering everything thoroughly. "We need to hide as much as possible."

A slight hint of disappointment flashed in her expression but disappeared soon enough. She nodded wordlessly in acknowledgement of my decision. With her agreement secured, we continued moving silently down toward first level.

The path before us lay empty, devoid of life except us five.

Nevertheless, we exercised extreme caution nonetheless especially now since any mistakes might lead to disastrous outcomes regardless of circumstances surrounding us currently.

We managed to reach the first floor safely where there was only one staircase connecting upstairs and downstairs. If we went out and crossed this hallway, we would find ourselves outside this mall. And outside of this mall would be another obstacle.

"It's too quiet." Takashi whispered quietly. He peered intently ahead, scanning every corner meticulously in hopes of spotting anyone lurking nearby.

Now that he mentioned it, the silence was strange. Why hadn't someone come here and attacked us already? Maybe they underestimated us and believed they had scared us away?

"Maybe we scared them. After killing two of them so easily earlier," Rei said confidently.

Normally I would think so too. But they actually sent people to find us, so there should be some commotion or noise from the people who stayed outside.

The fact they sent a search party means they didn't let their guard down.

Something was fishy. As I wondered about the possibility, my instincts screamed warning inside my head.

"Let's advance slowly."

The four nodded at my command. I gripped the sheath of my sword tighter, preparing myself mentally against whatever awaited us next.

My gaze darted leftwards as I kept watchful vigilance over our surroundings. Every movement registered acutely within my field of perception. Nothing escaped unnoticed under scrutiny.

Light from the lamp outside allowed me to see the situation. No one was there, and the camp looked untouched since we entered earlier.

Suddenly...

"Ah!!!" Rei shouted out loud as she saw a corpse.

Not just one, but dozens of them. Blood covered everything but the camp in front of me. Innards splattered across concrete pavement everywhere.

Saeko's pupils dilated violently at the sight of those corpses sprawled carelessly alongside roadsides beneath us.

Takashi crumpled onto the ground weakly and stared wide eyed toward the scenery outside, his visage drained utterly devoid of coloration akin unto death mask donning his face.

And Saya... She averted her eyes and vomited her stomach content loudly.

The camp and tents remained intact, but whoever was there surely had been killed. No one was alive. Just dead bodies.

It was a horrific vision.

"Don't stand there!"

Something must've killed these people when we were hiding. There was no gunshot, so the culprit wasn't human. Not only that, but there was also no scream.

Or maybe the scream was diluted by people's shouts when they tried to catch us.

But anyway...

"We need to run!" I grabbed Rei and Saya by hands, forcibly dragging them with me. "Whatever it is, it may attack us."

Saeko also tapped Takashi, to which he responded with a nod. He looked pale but he was able to run.

Ignoring the blood and gruesome sight around us, we ran toward the exit. The barricade was still intact, so the only way out was through the security room door, which was left open by someone.

However, just as we arrived at the broken doors...

The lights suddenly died, shrouding everything pitch black darkness without warning.

"Watch your step and run!" I commanded.

There was nothing else worth mentioning aside from darkness encompassing every corner's visible vicinity. A faint smell lingered wafting thickly throughout stale air; reminiscent of the sickly sweetness of rotting fruit.

I headed out first to see the situation.

Just as I stepped out, I noticed a deep breath from my left. I quickly turned around and saw it.

A large fist aimed towards my direction.

Thud!

Crash!

And I was blown away, crashing against the cars parked outside the mall. It hit me right in the abdomen.

"Ugh... Fuck."

Fortunately, the impact caused me to cough blood but didn't break any bones. My increased strength proved useful this time. However...

'What is that thing!?'

A big creature stood before me. Its body was larger than any zombie I ever encountered and its height surpassed two meters tall. The clothes he wore had the word 'police' written on the chest area, but it was ripped apart and torn.

Its mouth stretched widely as it roared toward us ferociously.

"GUOOOOHH!!!"

Saeko immediately stepped out and slashed the monster with her sword. However, just like what I experienced, her sword only managed to scratch the monster's thick neck, barely reaching his bone.

The giant's body seemed like it was enhanced several times stronger and sturdier than when it was a human.

Seeing that her attack didn't work, Saeko quickly retreated. But not before slashing his legs with quick succession.

"Daiki!" Saya cried aloud in shock upon witnessing my sorry state after getting punched.

"Stand back!" I shouted angrily while lifting myself upwards unsteadily from my position laying prone atop the car hood. "That monster is dangerous! Go inside the mall."

Quickly noticing the situation, Takashi nodded at me and ran inside with the two girls. He mouthed something alongside 'Nishimura' to me before he ran away, giving me a hint of this giant's identity.

"GUAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Roar resonated louder than previously once more.

Immediately afterwards multiple figures emerged from the surrounding area. Zombies appeared one after another surrounding our vicinity, completely cutting off all means of escape.

"Brother!" Saeko called out frantically, approaching me hurriedly only to stop short mere steps away.

“I am fine.”

I pulled my M1A1 rifle forward and fired multiple shots at the zombies around us.

Right now, we were completely separated from Takashi’s group.

[Ding! You have received 500 Shop Points + 1 All Stats.]

Usually I would be happy when hearing the notification. But not this time.

[Make your choice!]

1. Run and leave Takashi and his friends. (Reward: 1,000 Shop Points)

2. Fight the Tyrant together with your sister. (Reward: 1,500 Shop Points + 5 All Stats)

The new choice I received after running into the giant seemed like a trap.

If I ran away in my current condition, the giant monster would catch up to us. Why?

'A fucking Tyrant!'

Because that giant monster was a Tyrant, the Bio Weapon designed by Umbrella fucking Corporation.

That thing had a program to annihilate all threats in front of him. And he would never stop chasing after me and Saeko if I decided to run away.

So, there was only one option.

'Kill it and run.'

[Dungeon] Chapter 48 – Avatar

After Cain set the assistant system, the new RNG goddess of his dungeon, and added extra rules, he launched the Dungeon Chat Room. Not only that, he decided to delete the Fun Fun Dungeon! and Elemental Tower's old entrance.

The one connected to the hub should be enough for now.

He reasoned it this way, the management would be easier. He didn't have to set a time limit or be afraid that his target audience wouldn't find anything.

Thus, he only prepared one dungeon entrance in Kuoh Town, one in Konoha, and one in Suna. He still had one unused dungeon entrance slot left.

Also, just a few minutes after he launched his Dungeon Chat Room, his fame unexpectedly increased.

[Various people from different factions have found and recognized your dungeon!]

[Your fame has increased by 1.]

[Due to the increase of your fame, a new authority is unlocked!]

Authority Level: 4

─ Avatar Creation

An authority with a name that Cain could recognize easily. He didn't need to read the description to know what it was capable of.

But, he did anyway.

─ Avatar Creation: Allow you to use 5,000 Coins to create 1 avatar that you can control directly. Your main consciousness will reside inside the avatar while DSA-1 will ensure the dungeon system operates smoothly.

There was nothing much written aside from this line. But Cain felt a bit cheated when he found out that he had to use 5,000 Coins to create an avatar.

But on the bright side, he had no limits to choose any race, appearance, and even gender. He could create the avatar anything he wanted, but the stats he could distribute were limited.

'I can increase the avatar's status by gathering EXP. And I can get EXP by killing my own dungeon monsters.'

With his authority increased, the menu that was previously unlocked and hidden could now be accessed. Plenty of new things to learn and experiment with.

One thing that he found useful was the 'Multiple Instance' menu, which allowed him to duplicate any dungeon by using Coins. The cost? Only 1/5 of the dungeon value.

Which meant if he wanted to create Elemental Tower's second instance, he had to pay 1/5 of the cost of creating Elemental Tower, which was around 10,000 Coins after he added more monsters.

Anyway, that wasn't important. Not even the new dungeon slot was important right now.

The most important part right now was 'Avatar Creation', something that Cain had longed for the longest time ever since he was transferred into this place.

'I can go outside!' He pumped his fist as joy filled his body, 'Now, let's see what kind of avatar I can create...'

Cain scrolled through his list of available species. There were numerous choices for him, ranging from various human subspecies to dragons, demons, spirits, angels, gods, you named it. He could even become a slime or insect if he wanted to, and they had lots of subspecies.

"Wow! What should I make? I still have more than 10,000 Coins, so should I make two characters? Or maybe I should use the Coins to modify my avatar's trait. Now that will be interesting."

Thinking about what he should do, he started playing around with the system.

First of all appearance, then ability.

For a man who joined a new species research club in his highschool, Cain knew a whole lot about races and stuff that existed in real life or imagination.

Then, he tried to do something unbelievable.

"Mermaid's gill, dragon wings, demon eyes, cheetah beastman legs, rhino horn, turtle's back, and then body of a minotaur." He tried to put all random parts in his character creation and pressed 'preview'.

"Oh god."

The result appeared, and he could only describe it as horrifying monstrosity.

Not only that, the Coins needed to create this avatar increased due to various races he chose at once.

"So it will become more expensive if I choose more races. What about half?"

This time, he tried to create a half-elf half-human avatar. The Coins needed to create this avatar stayed the same. However, the drawback came in the stats.

"Hmm, I have 300 Stat points that I can distribute. If I share it to everything evenly, that would give me D- stats and 400 HP. So 60 stat makes me reach D- and each stat point increase my HP by 5, seeing that I have 100 base HP if I start as a humanoid race."

Having D- meaning he was stronger than Orc but weaker than Snow Yeti and Wendigo.

"Hmm... Playing min-max stats in this case would be better than spreading everything evenly. Although there might be a hidden requirement if I reached a certain amount in my stats. But, hmm.."

There were four main attributes; Strength, Agility, Vitality, and MP.

Seeing that his stat started as F+ and increased to D- with 60 stat points, that meant each increment in alphabet required 15 points. He could simply spread the points between AGI, VIT, and MP if he wanted to play safe, leaving STR to E rank.

A mage build was possible.

"But wait..." He realized one problem. "Magic spell."

Right, to use magic, he had to learn spells. Spells, a mechanic he didn't even touch at all until now because he had no MP at all. He tried replicating Akeno's magic, but to no use. Then, he tried to use ninjutsu, but it also wasn't possible.

Learning magic spells would be hard unless he could add it into his skill when he created the avatar. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible yet.

"I need a higher authority, huh?"

Which meant he could forget about MP, leaving it to minimum or E rank, so he would have 45 free stat points to play around with his build.

Going physical might be worth it...

"If it's a dungeon, then I need to go with that build, right?"

One that assured him a place in a party. Something that never changed across the fandom of light novels and such. The strongest unit on the battlefield, the undead who never die.

"Alright. For the race, let's select some random humans for now. Appearance, handsome. W-Well, why not. Ability? High regeneration to survive damage, STR for carrying big weapons, VIT for taking hits, AGI for moving, and MP? Eh, just a bit is alright. Yeah..."

With a laugh, he made fun of his weakness to his favorite settings. Cain finished assigning his stat points, and he used his remaining Coins, leaving 2,000 for emergency, to modify his avatar's trait and resistances.

[HOTD] Chapter 38 – Escaping

"Wait, how are we going to get out of here?" The pink-haired girl asked.

She looked ragged, tired, and dirty. But that was understandable considering the situation they were in right now.

"The emergency stairs lead directly to the exit door in this mall. If we move fast, they won't catch us."

"But-"

"Stop complaining and follow me. Also, we might have to beat and kill people, so prepare yourself."

Her face turned pale, but she stayed quiet after I glared at her.

Takashi nodded slightly before following me with Rei, along with Saeko who guarded our rear.

The security office we were located within was positioned conveniently next to one side of the building; therefore, reaching the emergency stairs located opposite side should prove simple enough.

Problem was, our enemy numbered around 50 people, according to our observation. Even though they wouldn't expect that the door could be destroyed, they had surrounded this whole place.

Our best shot was to move quickly and kill people who spotted us, starting from the top.

To be honest, with only five of us against fifty, this strategy wasn't guaranteed to succeed. Our opponents were adults with crude weapons. Not all would join the fight to capture us, so maybe it wasn't too bad. Maybe.

When we reached the end of the hallways, we met the emergency staircase, but unfortunately...

"Hey!"

Someone stood before us. Two people. One of them wore casual clothes while another was in a police uniform.

Seeing us, the police pulled his handgun and pointed it at us. He didn't waste any time and shoot at us.

My eyes widened in surprise. I quickly unsheathed my sword and swung it according to my instinct. I had no time to think and simply relied on the sword skill that the system granted me.

Clang!

Spark flew off as the bullet ricocheted off my sword and deflected away. The shockwave from the impact rattled through my arm, numbing my fingers slightly.

‘Damn...' I gasped mentally, clutching the handle of my katana tighter.

The gun wielder was visibly taken aback seeing his shot failed and tried to shoot at us again. He was too late.

Shiiing!

Saeko threw her sword at the police officer, stabbing him squarely at the heart. His hand holding the gun trembled before falling limply to the ground.

A fresh stream of red fluid gushed forth from the wound, painting his pristine white shirt crimson.

Everyone stared at him, frozen in shock and awe.

Meanwhile, Saeko rushed forward, retrieved her blade, and decapitated the other man beside the policeman. Blood rained upon the smiling beauty, splattering her cheeks and chest.

"Let's go." I called out to the frozen Rei and Saya. "Or are you stupid enough to stop?"

Takashi fared better but was still affected by how gruesome and sudden the scene was.

"Y-Yeah."

"D-Don't be kidding me. I am not stupid enough to stop like this, stupid!" Saya retorted.

As we walked down the emergency stairs, we kept looking out for potential ambushes or attackers hiding nearby. Our movement progressed swiftly thanks largely due partly because no enemies dared show their faces yet.

They hadn't anticipated our presence yet, after all.

Another flight of stairs separated us from our destination; however, at this juncture, things took an unexpected turn once more when I noticed something.

"They are here."

We were currently on the second floor, leading to the first. However, loud footsteps from below indicated the arrival of our pursuers. They noticed that we were going to use emergency stairs and chased after us.

Judging by the loudness of their steps, their number wasn't small. It should be more than ten. Their intention became pretty apparent.

Their leader probably suspected our purpose behind invading this mall and ordered everyone to attack us.

"Run this way." I led everyone into the mall.

"Hah... Hah..." Rei panted heavily behind me, exhausted.

Saya also panted and her legs trembled badly, almost tripping on each step she descended.

"Senior, I think we need to rest." Takashi said. Even he panted in exhaustion after all the running.

Running away like this wasn't possible with these two slowing us down. Unlike when I saved Don Takagi, whose men were trained, they weren't soldiers.

One slip-up could end up fatal; furthermore, we couldn't outrun them indefinitely. The danger we faced wasn't limited to these people. There were also zombies out there.

"Let's hide it and rest for now. I have a water bottle with me, share it between the three of you. Don't make a sound so we won't be spotted in this darkness."

Luckily for us, the second floor looked like a maze with many stores lined neatly around its edges. Each one occupied by shelves filled with goods ranging from apparel to shoes. We hid between them to rest for a minute and let them drink water.

Using this chance, I decided to ask Takashi something I was curious about since the beginning.

"Why did they adamant to attack and chase after you guys like this?"

No matter how I thought about it, the logic just didn't add up. Those people shouldn't be stupid enough to chase young men like Takashi or Kohta after losing them.

Not to mention how much manpower they wasted to pursue them until we came.

"Ah, well, about that..."

I raised my eyebrows questioningly as Takashi struggled for words.

He exchanged glances with Rei and Saya, seemingly trying to get permission to reveal what they were hiding to me. Both girls hesitantly nodded, allowing him to continue.

Taking a deep breath, the dark brown-haired teen started to recount everything leading up until this point.

According to his story, when he came here earlier today along with Kohta, Saya, and Rei, the survivor welcomed them warmly and even offered food and drinks without asking anything back.

Naturally suspicious, he questioned their intentions secretly, suspecting some ulterior motive. But he couldn't confirm anything since their attitude was indeed sincere and friendly.

Then, someone approached the four and said that if they needed shelter, they would happily provide space for them free of charge.

Surprised but wary, he nevertheless agreed reluctantly upon seeing nothing suspicious whatsoever in regards to their offer. Afterwards, he followed them further inside the mall. There they met a police officer, who introduced himself as Nishimura.

Long story short, they believed and followed the policeman and the rest of survivors to a shelter set up inside the building itself.

Along the way, however, Rei asked whether it would really be safe staying overnight amidst such chaotic circumstances and demanded proof. Unfortunately, their request fell upon deaf ears.

And then Kohta stumbled upon something.

"There is an underground facility here." Takashi claimed.

He said that during their tour, Kohta spotted some sort of underground facility leading downwards into deeper areas underneath ground level via elevator located within the warehouse area.

According to Takashi himself, this discovery piqued everyone's curiosity instantly. Especially when he noted its sturdy construction made of reinforced concrete.

Supposedly built for emergencies similar to earthquake or natural disaster situations wherein immediate evacuation required priority above else.

But when they brought it up to Nishimura, he suddenly got enraged and wanted to seize all weapons carried by them. He also gave the survivors fake news about how the new group wanted to take everything from them.

And it somehow led to this situation.

"Underground facility, huh?" I pondered about it.

'Did the anime and manga ever mention this thing?' I asked myself.

[Dungeon] Chapter 47 – Everyone Want to Join the Chat!

Gremory Princess: Huh? What is this?

Sona Sitri: So sudden. Well, it does say it's a place to exchange information and chat.

Most Handsome Ninja: Is this how to use it? Strange.

Spirit of Youth: Oooh! You're a genius, Kakashi! Youth!

Most Handsome Ninja: Guy... Are you alright?

Gremory Princess: Hey! Who are you, Kakashi, and Guy? Are you the people we met on Floor 2-1?

Puppet Master: Konohagakure people? And the others?

Ramen The BEST: Oooh many people here! Kakashi-sensei, what is this thing? And hello, guys!

Rias' Knight: Why is Issei got muted? Oh, his name...

Cute Cat: Pervert

The chat room became active almost immediately due to the curious nature of people who entered the dungeon. Some still didn't understand how to use it yet, but they eventually figured it out.

The ninja from Shinobi World was the most excited. They had no such thing as chat in their world, so they used this chance to explore and talk about their experience. Their mission was already done for today anyway.

But Kakashi felt like he was given a heavy task. He once again had to visit the Hokage Office to report about this stuff, realizing that most people who knew about the dungeon got the 'notification' thing.

Rias' group also entered the chat, with Akeno giggling as she looked at Issei's screen, teasing him when he realized his mistake.

"Too bad, Issei. That's the penalty for having such a name." The beautiful senior laughed teasingly, her eyes full of amusement.

"Why... It just asks me to insert a name!" Issei moaned in despair. "I'll fix it! Just wait for me!"

"Pervert." Koneko commented from afa while eating sweets.

"Koneko-chan!" Issei exclaimed, but then he started typing something on his phone.

While waiting for Issei, everyone in the peerage tried their best to get used to using this chat. They marveled at the interesting aspect of this chat.

Sona Sitri's Peerage had joined in as well, though not as enthusiastic as the others.

"These people seem to be ninjas or something. Look at their channel's name, Shinobi World, it must be in another world. Maybe I should make contact with their leader." Sona said.

"President Sona. Are you sure about that?" Tsubaki said.

"They had met with Rias and the others already. I don't know what Rias hide from me, but we also need to collect information ourselves."

"Hmm..." Reaching a conclusion, Sona clapped her hands twice. "Well then, I shall make some preparation myself."

Meanwhile, the Fallen Angels had also been invited to join the dungeon chat room. Raynare, who had chased after Freed who fled with Asia, finally managed to catch the exorcist and secured the nun.

"You will be safe from now on. I will take you to Azazel-sama."

Asia Argento was a normal teenage girl who had lived an ordinary life in Italy. She grew up in an orphanage before being sent to church where she discovered her Sacred Gear for healing.

With this newfound ability, she became renowned for being able to heal any injury and illness, making her seem like the savior for many people suffering.

However, she also became known as a witch because some people claimed that she healed demons, resulting in her exile from the Church. Now after getting abducted by a crazy exorcist, she got saved by Fallen Angels.

"T-Thank you." The ragged-looking nun wiped her tears away as she smiled shyly towards the fallen angel.

"Don't worry, it's all in my job to protect you. You're valuable." Raynare chuckled, patting the girl's back.

'For my promotion.' She added in her mind.

Behind her, the other Fallen Angels dealt with Freed, cuffing him with a magical handcuff to nullify his magic and putting a gag into his mouth, preventing him from using his sword to harm them.

Afterward, Raynare brought Asia to Grigori, a facility built by the Fallen Angels. There, they conducted experiments and research under the command of the leader of Grigori, Azazel.

It also served as the base and fortress to defend against enemies attacking.

Inside the building, Asia felt out of place. Her clothes were worn and ragged, and she kept feeling awkward surrounded by the modern facilities and equipment.

She wasn't dumb. She knew they might have plans with her, but she had nowhere else to go.

They entered an office room. On the table, there sat a man, leaning comfortably in his seat.

"Oh, who's this cutie here?" He said. His eyes widened when he saw Raynare come in with the young girl.

Raynare immediately knelt down and introduced the guest. "Asia Argento, the owner of Twilight Healing."

"Ohh! The miracle girl everyone talks about! I am glad to have you with us." The seemingly ordinary man with black hair with yellow streaks stepped forward to shake Asia's hands.

Being a kind girl, she extended her right hand and shook his.

"M-My name is Asia Argento."

"My name is Azazel, the governor-general of Grigori." Azazel grinned. "A pleasure to meet you."

After letting her go, he patted her head gently. The girl seemed nervous. Azazel frowned slightly. He wasn't one to judge appearances, but he thought she might not feel comfortable being dressed like this.

He snapped his fingers, prompting one of the women who brought Asia to step forward.

"Mittelt, will you be a good girl and help Asia with new clothes? And Raynare, you stay here for a minute. I have something private to talk about." He told the blonde-haired fallen angel woman. She nodded with respect before dragging Asia with her to somewhere.

Azazel also motioned Kalawarmer and Dohnaseek, who escorted Asia earlier, to leave. With just him and Raynare in the room, he coughed to clear his throat before starting the conversation.

"First of all, good job capturing Freed and Asia. I thought we would lose another piece. For a pawn of mine, I am really impressed by your performance."

"Pawn? No, I am proud to be serving you, Azazel-sama."

"Anyway, back to the business. You were in Kuoh Town, correct?"

"Yes." Raynare tilted her head in confusion, "Although there's a Devil Territory there, there isn't much going on."

"Then... You don't know?" He looked at her in shock.

"Know what?"

"Dungeon."

"Eh?"

Azazel put his hand on his chin, thinking for a moment.

"Actually, there's a rumor spreading about a strange structure appearing inside the church grounds near Kuoh Academy. It is confirmed that there is a door leading to another dimension. You entered, right?"

"N-no! Of course I don't enter an unknown dimension." She said with wide eyes.

"So you entered it." Azazel smiled knowingly.

Raynare froze. How did he know? Her body stiffened slightly and her breathing quickened as she tried to keep up an innocent facade.

"You see, we Fallen Angel got the same notification. We are investigating what this means. Also..."

Ding!

Suddenly, blue window appeared in front of their eyes, prompting both of them to stop talking and take a look. It was the dungeon chat room function that she dismissed earlier.

"Care to bring me to the dungeon? I heard there is a new one in Kuoh Town."

The competition began.

The message that Cain sent to everyone who knew the dungeon's existence had started a race for information among the three factions—the Fallen Angels, Devils, and Church—and he was certain that chaos would follow in its wake.

Not only them, but the ninja world was also involved in this.

A man wearing black coat with a red cloud motif, with black hair and strangely red eyes, stood in front of a shop.

He looked at the gate with blue swirling energy inside with awe.

In front of him, the window telling him that the Dungeon Chat Room was open for challengers floated gently. He narrowed his eyes, and the pupil swirled, changing into what looked similar to a shuriken.

He stared intently at the window and muttered.

"It's not an illusion."

"Hey, Itachi." Someone wearing the same coat called out to him. He had a large sword wrapped in bandage on his back. "What are you doing? Are we gonna enter that gate or not?"

"Yeah." Uchiha Itachi turned off his Sharingan before facing the blue gate.

Kisame and Itachi. Members of the infamous Akatsuki, a criminal organization with the goal to capture Bijuu.

They were dispatched to enter this strange gate that suddenly appeared in Konoha, not long after Konohamaru's group returned and reported the situation.

Maybe there was something valuable inside? Or something greater than they had expected.

Either way, Akatsuki didn't want to be late to the party.

[HOTD] Chapter 37 – Being a Hero Isn’t Bad

Armed with everything I had collected so far, M1A1 rifle with full magazine, Katana, and a standard police handgun, I immediately departed from Takagi Estate after explaining the situation to Miss Shizuka.

I already got the situation from Kohta, who managed to regain his consciousness at the same time I finished my preparation.

Also...

1. Abandon them. They aren't that close to you. (Reward: 100 Shop Points)

2. Save them. Comrade for life! (Reward: 500 Shop Points + 1 All Stats)

There were only two choices this time, which sounded reasonable.

However, I already knew how my system's choices worked. The higher the reward, the higher the risk that I would have to take. The fact it offered me 500 Shop Points just for saving the protagonist and the others sounded strange.

The last time I took the 500 Shop Points choice, I had to save Don Takagi and his comrades from a horde of zombies alone.

Which means saving Takashi and the other two girls would yield the same or higher level of danger. Naturally I considered the danger to be higher because I didn't have to save them alone.

"Brother, focus. Worrying won't change anything." Saeko whispered from behind me, as if knowing my worries.

Yes. She was accompanying me to save Takashi, Saya, and the bitch Rei.

After Miss Shizuka reported to Don Takagi, I doubt that man wouldn't send anyone for us. His relationship with his daughter had just mended. There was no way he wouldn't move heaven and earth for the sake of finding her.

But I didn't want to bet everything on Don Takagi's cavalry and waste time waiting, so I decided to act first.

The place that Kohta told us about was, surprisingly, the mall we decided not to visit this noon. Based on the fatty's words, the survivor welcomed them at first and attacked them later, catching them off guard.

Most likely, their intention was never pure.

His gun, AR-10, was stolen. But he said the magazine jammed and the survivors probably wouldn't be able to fix it. Still, that didn't mean we could relax. They had a police officer with them, meaning they had a loaded handgun.

"Saya and the others are locking themselves safely on the top floor right now. However, I doubt they can hold on any longer against 50 or more people in the shelter."

It was a time attack. I must act fast and stealthily.

"I can see the mall."

After running at Saeko's full speed for 15 minutes, we managed to reach the mall. I wanted to get faster, but my current stats already put me above human, or even exceptional human's standard.

Thus, there was no way to get much faster without leaving Saeko.

"Drink some water first. The lights are on, so people there still have electricity." I said, giving her bottled water.

Mall usually had a different power supply. Even when the rest of the city suffered from blackout, large buildings like malls and hospitals usually could survive a little bit more. But in this world, who knew how long before everything broke down.

We watched as bright lamps illuminated some areas of the buildings. I looked at my flip phone, which I took back, and closed it again. No signal, as expected.

"I am ready." Saeko wiped her lips after gulping all of the water greedily.

Approaching them with a friendly intention wasn't possible with the gun that I brought. We sneaked close to the mall, near their barricade, and I noticed someone stood guard on top. He held a sharpened metal pole in his hand.

Fortunately, he didn't see anything. I opened my system shop and bought 2 smoke grenades for 40 Shop Points. Just like usual, I pretended that I pulled it out from my vest.

"Get ready. Once I throw this, we will jump over the barricade and head inside the mall."

Saeko nodded.

Clang- Cling cling-

Swoosh!

With a loud sound, grey smokes spewed out of the smoke grenades I threw and covered the view.

"Hm?"

"What is that thing!? Where did it come from?"

"Fuck, my eyes!"

After some confusion among the guards, we jumped through the barricade and entered the building. The smoke spread far and fast enough to cover our infiltration, so no one could notice us.

"Where did you get such a thing, brother?"

"Rika's inventory." I answered Saeko as we ran.

Fortunately, we were able to locate the staircase leading upstairs without encountering resistance along the way.

Just in case, however, I checked every corner carefully before proceeding forward. Our journey continued quietly until we reached the fourth floor of this complex structure.

Upon arrival, we discovered an open door leading into what appeared to be a staff office. The door of this office was closed shut even though I heard some noise inside.

"Hey, why are they suddenly shouting loudly like that?"

"I don't know! We can't see anything from here. Hey, idiot. Don't try to use this chance to get closer to Takashi, you stupid!"

"Now is not the time to fight, Takagi. And Rei, we're in danger so can you step away?"

"Okay."

Three voices echoed through the air, carrying clear distinction amongst each person speaking respectively. Those voices sounded somewhat similar to Saya, Rei, and Takashi's.

And they were fighting each other at this crucial moment?

'This anime's protagonist group is such a mess.' I sighed inwardly.

I nodded at Saeko after confirming their identity. We approached the door and called out to them.

"Takagi, are you inside?" Saeko's voice was more distinct than mine. Plus, they definitely heard our footsteps earlier.

Immediately, the noises died down. Three pairs of feet stepped towards the door and waited anxiously beyond its threshold.

"S-Senior Busujima?" A girl's voice rang out hesitantly, sounding vaguely similar to Rei.

Hearing that, Saeko clicked her tongue. Right, Rei was supposed to be the same year as us. And for unknown reason, my sister didn't like being called Senior by her.

'It's never clear why even in the series, but that's not important.'

"We're here for your rescue." I added while keeping an eye at our surroundings.

"Oh my God! Really!?" This time it was Saya, undoubtedly.

"Yes." My answer came swiftly and firmly. "I'd like to explain why, but we have no time. I think the people outside will realize there is an intruder soon. We have to leave."

"Yeah, but... We accidentally locked ourselves in. The door is broken and won't budge at all." Takashi explained hurriedly.

"How the heck-" I rubbed my temple hearing that. "-whatever. Stand aside, I'll break it open."

I counted to three internally and kicked the door with all my strength. It creaked loudly under force. However, it didn't break yet.

"H-Hey, stupid! Wait a little bit. We haven't moved from the door yet!" Saya's panicked voice could be heard.

Ignoring that, I counted loudly this time.

"One."

Bam!

Once again, I kicked the door. Though it didn't open, the room behind it became noisy, followed by soft cursing coming out of it.

"Tsk!"

"Don't tsk at me! Damn it! We haven't moved yet, stupid!"

"Two."

This time, I used the momentum from running up and landed another blow straight ahead using my left leg.

BAMMM!!!

The sound reverberated throughout the entire corridor as the thick metal door cracked open. I could see three of them looking at me with stunned expressions.

They were obviously surprised to see me kicking a thick metal door open like it was nothing.

Unfortunately, it didn't budge completely. Only half-opened at best, but it was enough for them to crawl out.

"Time to go." I said, beckoning them.

[HOTD] Chapter 36 – Bleeding Fatty

Wow, did the system want to make me as low as those molesters? Even if option three gave a lot of points and increased my ability, the result was horrible!

There was no way I would rape Asami in front of Saeko! My head would probably roll to the ground the moment I tried to fuck her, followed by Saeko's head.

Right, my sister was that crazy.

Only two choices were available for me, either I let her back to the mall or took her back to Takagi Estate. With the current situation in mind, letting her return to the mall seemed risky.

Maybe if she had more bullets to spare, things wouldn't turn out too bad. Sadly, her pistol was empty right now and there was a chance she wouldn't meet up with paranoid survivors.

Besides, if she returned alone after leaving with three people... The result would be predictable. I could imagine her being blamed or even worse, being kicked out to fend for herself outside. Something that idiotic would happen in typical zombie movies.

Furthermore, judging by her explanation, she was kind hearted enough to sacrifice her own safety just to escort people.

Like the kind old lady, I believed she deserved to live. It wasn't fair if she had to die due to something she couldn't control.

I exchanged glances with Saeko, and she smiled at me as if she knew what I thought. Yeah, she seemed to agree with my decision.

"How about coming with us?" I said, turning my gaze towards Asami. "There are survivors that have created a safe shelter in Takagi Estate."

Upon hearing my words, her eyes widened. "Huh?" was all she managed to reply for several seconds. "Is that true?"

"Of course."

That's where we came from after all.

"We planned to return after taking some items with us. If you can help us gather them, we would greatly appreciate it." Saeko added kindly.

Though Saeko's smile could be viewed as beautiful, the truth was darker; my beloved sister probably intended to recruit another loyal guard dog for the future. In case something went awry, we could use their help to support us.

That was how Shido in the original was able to get away with most of his atrocities despite being a scumbag.

After thinking for a moment, Asami accepted our proposal. While she seemed hesitant, her resolve quickly hardened once she realized what awaited her should she refuse.

[Ding! You have received 100 Shop Points.]

With this, I had more than 1,000 Shop Points. I wanted to get that zombie serum, so I only needed 4,000 more.

'It sounds like a long way before I can buy it.' I laughed wryly.

Asami then offered to join us in searching for supplies and items needed. She said it was the least she could do considering the circumstances.

In the end, we managed to gather some speakers and wires to use them. I also collected some fireworks and matches to use later, together with other necessities from the convenience store.

Luckily there weren't many zombies here since most of them went to the mall where there were crowds. We only encountered a couple during our search and dealt with them easily.

With hands full of items, we returned to Takagi estate before evening arrived.

"She is Nakaoka Asami. I saved her when she was attacked by... three heartless men," I said, purposely avoiding certain parts of the story.

Because the guard already knew me and was indebted when I saved him from the factory, he believed in my story. He welcomed her in without asking questions or showing suspicion.

"As expected from Busujima. To think you would save and bring back a survivor after an outing." The guard commented upon learning about it, "There is an empty tent left by someone else. You can use it."

"Thank you."

Entering the estate, we didn't immediately go to the empty tent but to the infirmary tent first. Asami had injuries and she needed treatment immediately.

Surprisingly, the infirmary tent was full of people.

It was very packed with people being treated by doctors and nurses. Some moaned in pain while others sobbed quietly.

"It will be okay. Take a deep breath."

Among them, Miss Shizuka tended to a child tenderly. She gave a cup of water mixed with painkillers to a crying boy whose arm had been injured and wrapped tightly by bandage.

"I-I am scared."

The boy clung to the warm smile shown by the kind teacher and refused to release his grip from her lab coat. His teary eyes filled with fear and sorrow as he continued crying nonstop until he fell asleep due to exhaustion.

Watching that scene, I couldn't help but smile. Many patients seemed to be grateful to Miss Shizuka. Not just for healing their wounds or illnesses, but also comforting them in times of distress.

Some women cried and embraced the angel of mercy.

When she walked around to check every patient's condition, people greeted and thanked her for her kindness. Such simple actions brought happiness to everyone involved.

'Yeah, she is amazing.'

Unconsciously, I clenched my fists and resolved to protect this gentle woman from harm.

"Miss Shizuka." I called out to her. "May we ask you to treat our friend? She is wounded quite heavily."

She gasped in surprise upon hearing my request but recovered quickly.

"Ah! Sure! Please show her to me," she said, smiling brightly and beckoning us over.

I signaled Asami to follow the nurse. Saeko and I remained standing near the entrance since we didn't want to disturb her work.

Somehow my sister looked restless. Her gaze lingered in the sky and her feet tapped anxiously. Noticing her strange behavior, I nudged her with my elbow gently.

"What is it? Are you not feeling well?" I asked worriedly, placing a hand on top of hers.

"N-nothing! Don't worry, brother! I am fine. Perfectly fine."

She laughed nervously before averting her eyes away from mine.

Strange, was this truly Saeko? She acted differently compared to usual. Well, whatever bothered her, hopefully it wasn't anything too serious. Otherwise, I would personally see to it that whoever responsible paid dearly for upsetting my sister.

I decided to help stand guard while waiting for Asami's treatment to end. The guard around the gate looked lonely anyway, so it was good to help.

Before long, we became pretty friendly. He introduced himself as Nakamura Yoshito, the owner of a butcher shop nearby.

"Well, actually it was my father's. I only inherited it." He revealed. "So I really know nothing about managing a company."

He mentioned that he hated his job and preferred doing outdoor activities like hiking, camping, etc., instead of staying cooped inside the building all day.

It made sense why he felt better as a guard. His physical build and demeanor were fit for frontline jobs, not as a businessman. His muscles ripped through his clothes.

After chatting for a while, the sun slowly began to set. It was then I suddenly had a bad feeling.

'Takashi and his group haven't returned yet.'

I kept silent and observed patiently for a few minutes, hoping desperately that my assumption would prove false. However, none appeared after the sky darkened completely.

'Did they encounter something? Or perhaps...'

Just as I thought of the worst-case scenario, I saw a familiar silhouette approaching us slowly. The fatigue must've drained all energy from him, but he kept walking toward our direction.

"That's..."

With my current status, I was able to see his figure clearly despite the darkness enveloping the surrounding area. And I recognized those clothes and vest everywhere.

"Nakamura, I will go and check. Please guard here alone."

"Hey, wait-"

I jumped down the wall, ignoring the call, and headed toward the lone figure. From afar, I already identified him. He was Kohta.

His body was riddled with wounds, but none of them looked like bite or scratch marks from zombies.

Instead, his shirt was stained by blood coming from a slash or bruise.

I hurried my steps and stopped in front of him.

"Hey, what happened?" I asked.

"S-Senior Daiki..." He stuttered between his teeth.

Even though he seemed to struggle immensely speaking, I caught every word that escaped his mouth.

"W-W-We... We got ambushed... T-Those fucking b-bastards..."

And then he passed out in my embrace.

[Make your choice!]

I had no time to even think about it and took the fatty back to the base.

[Dungeon] Chapter 46 – Dungeon Chat Room

Cain took his sweet time looking at the Assistant System first.

Unexpectedly, it was as its name suggested, an assistant that could help him manage the dungeon.

Starting from respawning the monsters automatically after the challengers left to changing the dungeon settings and moving objects inside. He could control how much authority it had over the setting.

"Wow, this is so convenient."

With this, he didn't have to manually select everything. He could set a script to move the trapdoor and move things around.

When he read further, he found out that the default name of the system was DSA-I (Dungeon System Assistant Unit 1). Changing the name was available for 1,000 Coins, but he couldn't care less. His current task was testing the system first before deciding its usefulness.

"Hmm, I can assign it to move monsters in the hub too. I can use this to manage the Dungeon Chat Room too, giving a mute to those who break the rules."

Depending on the setting, Cain could limit its authority or let it go free like another person with just a simple instruction. Either way, it would obey his order and do what was necessary to carry out his commands.

He even found that it could change the temperature, making it hot and cold, or turn on the AC if he had one in his throne room.

Then, the function he needed the most.

"I can randomize numbers automatically!"

RNG, for example, or roll. If someone ordered the Assistant to roll five dice, it would give out five random numbers between 1 to 6 five times. The possibilities were endless, especially in combination with trapdoors.

Right now, the drop item was based on percentage. And he could only set a certain drop item in each monster with this system.

However, if he implemented the Assistant to Drop Item system in the dungeon, he could make various unique items and attach the percentages to each item with script.

Something that would be useful in a gacha-like mechanic.

"Hehehehehe." An eerie laugh escaped his lips as he rubbed his hands.

The rabbit hole deeper than the abyss awaited the poor, poor challenger who dared to challenge his dungeon. And that rabbit hole appeared to be innocent in appearance.

Gacha.

Cain intended to use gacha as his method of earning more challengers. The dungeon coins he spread in this instance was the groundwork for what he would do later.

Initially, he thought this feature would need higher authority. But now, things were different.

Not only was there an Assistant System, but there was also the Dungeon Chat Room.

And boy, he would use it to the fullest.

You could say that a devil incarnate sat atop this dungeon.

***

Meanwhile, at the HQ office building where Sirzechs Lucifer and Grayfia Lucifuge resided.

Lucifer dealt with endless documents coming his way every day. The Devil King's work never had the word end.

Fortunately, he had a very competent wife like Grayfia.

"Lord Lucifer, this is the report from Kuoh Town. Miss Rias has found another dungeon in Kuoh Town and investigated it."

"Again?" Sirzechs raised his eyebrows in worry.

Even with Serafall's living in that city, having a strange dungeon that led to another dimension, according to his sister's report, was worrying. He also heard from Grayfia that Rias' peerage went missing for 3 days some time ago.

He even almost visited Kuoh Town to investigate himself, if not for the report coming a bit later.

If anything happened, Grayfia would inform him directly, thus he believed in the safety of Kuoh town. Although sometimes Rias reports didn't include everything.

"The dungeon is pretty useful. This HP potion, and followed by MP and Stamina potion based on what Miss Rias reported will definitely be useful to us. However, the Fallen Angels and other factions may interfere later to get their hands on it." Grayfia reported.

Indeed that was the case.

In fact, Sirzechs already recognized Rias' strength had grown exponentially since then. She made a significant contribution and held information over the dungeon, as much as Sirzechs didn't want her to be in danger.

And due to that achievement, she requested that her engagement with Riser Phenex be canceled. This request shocked the entire noble family, but the surprise was a pleasant one for the siscon Lucifer.

Using his authority, he ended the arrangement that was previously arranged. The HP potion that Rias' group discovered almost had the same effect as Phoenix's Tears, albeit weaker.

This was the reason why Lucifer couldn't just fly to Kuoh Town to check the dungeon. He was too busy.

"Mmm."

Sighing, he massaged his forehead and gave out his command to Grayfia.

"Tell me more about this dungeon."

"Yes, Lord Lucifer. Based on the-"

Ding!

Before the Queen continued her report, the notification ringtone cut her off. Following that, a strange blue window with a message appeared in their vision.

[Dungeon Chat Room is open for challengers!]

[Raise your dungeon level to unlock it!]

Both of them stared at the box, trying to figure out what it was and its purpose. After staring at it for a few minutes, Sirzechs was the first one who spoke up.

"I think we need to make a trip to Kuoh Town."

"I agree, Lord Lucifer."

Not only Lucifer in the underworld. Around the world, any creatures who knew the existence of Dungeon got notified.

Some, those who already entered the dungeon, were able to access the new feature called Dungeon Chat System.

They could open and close the blue window in their vision with a swipe of hand.

And in this Dungeon Chat System, someone was ready to greet them.

[HOTD] Chapter 35 – Getting Rid of Scums

Since the plot already changed from the novel I read, I doubted their meeting would end up like in the canon story. She might be dead before even meeting us if we came late.

Whatever the case, it looked like she was in danger.

As I thought about what to do, the police girl suddenly regained consciousness and saw two men surrounding her.

"W-Where am I?"

"Hm? You woke up. We saved you from them, so I hope you repay us now."

"Yes, yes. As a police, you will not forget us who go through hell to save you, no? Huehehehe."

Both men looked at her with desire written all over their faces. Their goals became clear to me in an instant.

'Perverts.' I sneered mentally at them while tightening my grip on my sword.

Noticing it, the female police officer crawled backwards slowly, trying desperately to escape. But alas, due to fear, dizziness, and lack of energy, she couldn't muster up enough strength to stand up properly.

"D-don't come any closer!" She shouted feebly, but without much effect. Her voice only made the perverts grin wider.

"Don't shout too loud. What if you attract them here? You will kill all of us, miss officer!"

They cackled madly and approached her step by step. Their lecherous gazes swept over every inch of her exposed skin, admiring every detail of her youthful curves.

The situation had gone south rather quickly.

Even Saeko gritted her teeth seeing their act. Molester was something she hated the most. So did I, especially when these idiots always put everyone else in danger just because they wanted to touch a woman's body without their consent.

"Saeko-" I called out to my sister, "Can you kill an innocent person like them?"

This situation was different from when we were attacked by the police. This time, we would be the one who attacked, an act vastly different from defending ourselves.

Saeko turned her gaze at me, determination burning in her eyes.

Gripping the hilt of her katana tightly, she unsheathed the weapon with practiced ease and answered confidently without faltering. "If it is for saving the weak and helpless, killing isn't much of a problem."

"Just don't become a mindless killer, okay?" I reminded her.

She nodded wordlessly as we moved closer to the storefront, preparing to strike anytime.

With my gesture, we swiftly took care of the one guarding the door. Saeko cut the man's throat and I caught his body, lowering it slowly to ensure silence.

"No-! D-Don't get closer!" The policewoman yelled loudly again, her body shaking uncontrollably as panic seized control of her entire being.

"Oh~ Don't be like that. Let's be nice together~" One guy laughed while grabbing onto her wrist.

He forcibly pinned both hands above her head and climbed atop her chest.

"NO-! GET AWAY FROM ME!!" She screamed frantically as tears streamed down her face.

At that moment, I already arrived behind the unsuspecting perpetrator. To avoid the police officer getting traumatized, I kicked the two men away at full strength. They were blown away into the glass doors and shelves, screaming painfully from their broken ribs.

"Get up! We're leaving this place!" I extended my hand to the terrified cop who sat dumbfounded on the ground.

She looked confused, but she managed to regain enough composure after hearing me talk politely. Still visibly trembling, she struggled to stand back upright.

"Y-Yes."

We immediately left the store. On our way out, I nodded at hiding Saeko, gesturing to her that it was fine to end the men now.

Earlier shout managed to attract some zombies, five of them, so I dealt with them with my sword. Beheading the nearest ones, I proceeded to kick the second toward the third and thrust my sword to impale all of them.

Taking advantage of my distraction, two last remaining undead tried to pounce me from the sides. However, my Agility allowed me to sense them beforehand, allowing me to dodge their tackle and decapitate the heads.

Panting slightly, I looked toward the police officer and she seemed stunned upon witnessing me defeating the zombies like that. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if I was her.

"Brother."

Saeko joined us a moment later, wiping her bloody katana clean using her cloth.

"Are you finished?" I asked her, though I knew she wouldn't have trouble dealing with a bunch of unarmed, weak thugs like those lowlives.

"Yes. They are dead. All I did was slash their throats. No torture, no nothing." She explained in a low voice. A sadistic smile formed on her slightly flushed face.

Not forgetting that Saeko loved violence, I nodded my head approvingly and patted her head softly.

"This feels nice." She purred happily and closed her eyes like a cat.

'So cute.' I thought.

Then, I shifted my gaze toward the survivor that we saved. Her face blanched and her body still trembled from fear.

"Calm down. Breathe in, breathe out. Try to relax. You're safe now."

I guided her toward the wall and helped her lean against it, giving her space to catch her breath. This place was safer compared to inside the convenience store earlier.

Her ragged breathing gradually subsided, replaced by slow steady rhythm.

"I... I apologize. For causing you trouble like this." She finally spoke in a shaky voice. Her dark eyes filled with gratitude as she looked up at me. "Thank you for saving me. U-Umm, may I know your name?"

"I am Busujima Daiki. Call me whatever you want. This is my sister, Busujima Saeko. And you are?"

"I... I am Nakaoka Asami," she introduced herself. "A police officer stationed nearby this place."

She was still visibly shaken despite her best efforts to conceal her emotions behind a professional mask, yet managed to speak normally.

And just as I expected. She was that police woman who died in the mall after some kid let the zombies enter.

Asami explained her predicament to me afterward. Since the outbreak happened, the police department where she worked fell under complete chaos.

The city had basically collapsed under constant attack by the living dead, so naturally law enforcement agencies failed miserably to maintain order or protect civilians.

After she finished explaining how hopeless her situation was, she continued, "Thankfully I found refuge at the mall. The survivors took turn to get supplies, water, and food, so I escorted them because I had a gun, but..."

"But?"

"One of them turned into a zombie yesterday. Then everything became crazy. My ammo ran out. Everyone scattered and abandoned me."

Her voice wavered as she spoke.

"Only a few people stayed in the mall now after driving out zombies. I had to use a melee weapon after that, which ended up making me exhausted."

And she fainted after she reached the convenience store, only to wake up surrounded by two survivors who wanted to take advantage of her.

What a shitty, cliche zombie apocalypse situation.

[Dungeon] Chapter 45 – Wait Finished

Both Konohagakure and Rias' party returned to the hub after clearing the first part of Floor 2.

Meanwhile, Sunagakure party only managed to find the entrance to the second floor. Some of their members, except for Kankurou and Temari, got injured in the process. They actually spent too much time wandering aimlessly on Floor 1 before finding the hidden entrance.

"There are two doors." Temari said.

Just like the other dungeon, Cain also renovated Elemental Tower slightly after he got points from Rias' rampage.

One of them being an exit door that he placed right next to the door that led to the second floor. To make it stand out, he actually changed the color too. Black for continue, white for stopping.

Why black for continue? Usually it's green or something bright.

Obviously, because black was ominous. Cain was playing around here.

But because of that, he also made a sign so the challengers knew which door was which.

"Should we continue?" Kankurou asked Temari.

After a brief pause, the blonde girl answered.

"I don't think so. Look at that sign." She pointed at the warning written under the continue door.

[Warning! The difficulty waiting for you ahead is so easy that you can just breeze through! Don't worry about heat, there will be no fire in the next area. I assure you. This dungeon is for a beginner, it's not scary at all!]

"No matter how you see it, that's definitely lying. A worse area than the one we passed through lies ahead, and there's a reason why he says there will be no fire. Also, why does it say heat instead of cold, that's obviously foreshadowing. So I think we should return and exchange information with people from Konoha."

"Hmm..." Kankurou contemplated before agreeing. He sighed in relief internally when he heard that they would call it day.

Not only did they lose one man, the other three also got injured seriously from fire slimes, goblins, and orcs. They were unprepared, entering this place without any information at all.

The fact they were able to reach the entrance safely could be attributed to both Kankuro and Temari, along with sheer luck.

"The way back is long and dangerous. Get ready." Temari reminded as she looked at her team.

"Alright."

Sunagakure party opened the exit door, expecting a long journey back through the burning forest and passing the ground with flowing lava, as well as facing monsters along the way.

Thus, when they felt a burst of light suddenly, everyone panicked. But, before they could take a proper defensive stance, their bodies disappeared from the Elemental Tower and reappeared in the Hub.

"...what?"

Their bodies appeared in different places, not far away from each other. Confused, Kankuro raised his head and found Temari and the others looking equally confused.

Almost at the same time, ninja from Konoha appeared near the center of the hub.

They were looking at their surroundings, trying to identify their location.

When their eyes met, Kakashi nodded at them before noticing that their number had decreased by one.

"Could it be..."

"One fell." Kankurou answered.

Temari gritted her teeth and punched a nearby wall.

"Bastard! We were completely unprepared for that thing! It's a disaster!"

"What thing?" Tenten asked.

After Suna's team exchanged information about what kind of dungeon was ahead, as well as sharing details about their encounter with a new monster they'd never seen before, they asked Konoha's team about their dungeon.

They exchanged information. About the skeleton and zombies roaming the second floor of the Tower of Resentment and about the monster wave.

"We need a lot more people to go through that. But for now-"

Before Kakashi could finish speaking, they noticed another group arriving with a mote of light. It was Rias and her peerage, coming together.

They looked at the group of ninja and also noticed one missing from the group who wore clothes similar to arabians.

The red-haired heiress looked around and found something. She nodded at the ninja group and pointed in a certain direction.

"There is the revival room. It seems the name of your dead comrade is written there." She said, "Now then, please excuse us."

With that, she turned and left. Her friends followed her from behind. They disappeared into the exit gate, no hesitation could be seen.

"Were they informed about it beforehand?" Temari wondered.

While looking at Rias' group retreating figure, she remembered the red-haired girl was quite confident and composed earlier.

"They have unique information or something that we don't know. Maybe creating a good relationship with their group will benefit us." Kakashi added.

"Right? They are also so strong!" Naruto said, excitedly remembering their strength. He pumped his fists in the air as he boasted about their power. "They look like they are about our ages, so maybe we can become friends. Right, bushy eyebrows?"

"Yes! Youth indeed reigns supreme!"

Lee shouted, punching his fists into the air. His exclamation caused Neji to sigh with a tired expression.

"But there is also their strange power." Neji said, "We still need to investigate it. It isn't safe to be careless."

"Let's discuss this with Hokage-sama first." Kakashi added. "With that, we will leave first."

"Us too. We will visit this place again tomorrow to see whether our comrade is truly revived or not." Temari said.

***

Cain hummed and nodded in satisfaction. The notifications about coins he received rang as soon as the group left the Hub. Which meant, the Hub was still counted as a dungeon.

All emotions— happiness, sadness, grief, and longing would still be counted.

After confirming this, Cain knew his next plan would be able to be implemented successfully.

"Nice. Coins will rain down from their emotion if I do this well. Also..."

From the three groups entering earlier, he managed to gain a lot of Coins. He skipped the exact amount, but now he had 11,620 Coins in his status, something he achieved through sitting there.

"Well, let's respawn the monster in Elemental Tower first."

Hidden in a dungeon monster setting, Cain found out that he could immediately respawn all monsters in a dungeon by paying Coins. The cost was based on the monster type and how much they were, as well as their level.

Respawning monsters in Elemental Tower's first floor would cost him 500 Coins. When looked at the price alone, it looked pretty expensive. However, when one counted the income gained from that floor alone, which averaged 1,000 to 1,500 Coins, the price was reasonable.

He didn't need to wait 3 days to open the dungeon anymore.

Smirking, he moved his hand to click Yes.

Immediately, the monsters inside Elemental Tower's first floor respawned as he got notified. All fire slimes, goblins, and orcs appeared in random locations on the first floor.

This function was super convenient. He could hear Coins ringing in his ears.

"Now then..."

The new function he unlocked after finishing the second King's Trial would be implemented soon. Dungeon Chat Room and Assistant System.

Because there would be no challengers soon, or so he hoped, he planned to learn about them quickly. He didn't want to miss any hidden menu like before.

Without a doubt, these two new functions would be a game changer. He could put Dungeon Rules and Information regarding the tutorial dungeon in that place, encouraging people to visit the Fun Fun Dungeon! more.

And then, the wait was over.

[Ding!]

[The Dungeon Chat Room and Assistant System have been successfully installed!]

[HOTD] Chapter 34 – Outing Outside

The mall used for evacuation shelter was located three kilometers away from the mansion, requiring us to walk a long distance before we arrived at our destination. It wasn't impossible to reach it, considering zombies only reacted to sound.

Still, it wasn't something you could do everyday.

"What are we going to do, brother?" Saeko asked. "Scavenging the store, rescuing people, or doing something else?"

"Our priority is to get medicine, ropes, or speakers so I can create an alarm trap. Anything else is just extra," I answered without breaking my stride.

Ropes sounded like something useless in a zombie apocalypse, but they would actually be extremely helpful. In a normal society, rope was indispensable because it enabled us to secure items in place. Without it, anything we tied down might come loose if we weren't careful enough.

Not only that, since we were going to the countryside, we had to set as many alarms as possible using speakers.

A few days ago, I triggered the alarm by shooting it. But if we had a rope long enough to wrap around the speaker and tied it down securely, even small movements would trigger it.

Not only that, we could also tie the can to ropes and circled the area with it to create an improvised defense mechanism. If there was a horde of zombies approaching, I could just pull the rope to create a loud noise.

As I explained these things to Saeko, she nodded understandingly.

"Then we should get some fireworks too, no?" She suggested after thinking for a few minutes.

"They are everywhere and could help us in creating distractions. Some toys like mini electric cars may be useful too, since we could attach it with speakers and let them drive around aimlessly to attract attention."

Fireworks.

Right, I forgot about them. It was a great idea to bring fireworks along because of how loud and flashy they were. I agreed with her suggestion wholeheartedly and decided to prioritize getting fireworks on top of everything in my list.

We chatted leisurely while walking, evading the area crowded by zombies and keeping an eye out for potential dangers around us.

As we reached our destination, I observed the surrounding area first.

This mall was located inside a large building with four levels and a basement parking garage. Right now, barricades had been erected around the entrances leading inside the building. There was a single police officer who looked dead tired guarding it.

Around 50 survivors were camped around the mall, forming a perimeter around the main entrance to prevent zombies from approaching it. They looked haggard and desperate, as they carried improvised weapons ranging from sticks to crowbars to defend themselves against incoming undead threats.

Seeing this sight alone gave me goosebumps.

"This is one of the evacuation centers in Tokonosu City?" I exclaimed in surprise.

I mean, Takagi Estate looked way better than this hellhole!

"So, brother, what are we doing? Are we going to enter?" Saeko inquired excitedly.

The zombies weren't the only threat. There might be paranoid people with less than honorable intentions loitering around and ready to rob or kidnap us if given a chance.

I shook my head.

This wasn't worth the risk.

Initially, I thought of going inside and acting friendly with survivors, but the problem would arise soon enough if the evacuation center looked like this. Instead of being friendly, all they would do upon seeing our weapons would be attacking us.

Nothing was scarier than paranoid people. They would think we didn't have the guts to shoot or hurt them and thus try to take advantage of us. Once we were surrounded by a mob of survivors, we wouldn't be able to fight back at all.

Our movement became limited and thus created weakness in our formation, giving chances for people to disarm us without even needing guns or blades.

In short, they would swarm us with numbers and try to steal our weapons and supplies.

Worse, even though they wouldn't attack Saeko outright, she would still be vulnerable to groping and harassment from those people.

Who knows whether some pervert would have their fun while hiding among crowds.

"This is hell."

Once I saw this situation, I decided to abandon any hope towards the rescue team sent by the Japan Self-Defense Force to evacuate survivors. I mean, these guys barely survived as they are. Even if the JSDF showed up and rescued them, I doubt all of them would survive until the end. Not everyone had luck like Takashi, or even strength like me or Saeko.

So, it was better not to take unnecessary risks.

"Let's go to a nearby convenience store instead. We can take the speaker and get whatever stuff available there," I said, patting Saeko's shoulder gently before guiding her away from the area.

I knew the area around here pretty well so we found the convenience store we wanted in less than twenty minutes.

After checking thoroughly and getting closer to the store, I noticed a sound coming from inside. Looking through the windows, I saw a small group of survivors staying inside.

They wore dirty clothes and carried improvised weapons such as kitchen knives or makeshift spears. Two adults, two middle aged men, were sitting near the counter while chatting animatedly about something.

Another man stood guard beside the door, armed with a broomstick he held like a spear.

"Brother, look in front of those men." Saeko whispered while pointing her finger at the girl laying down on the floor.

I observed carefully and indeed, the girl, who was surprisingly wearing a police outfit, laid unconscious and curled up into balls next to the men.

Based on her clothes, the men probably hadn't done anything bad to her. The uniform was dirty and wrinkled, but from the fact everything was still buttoned and untouched, I guessed she probably fainted due to extreme fatigue.

Her light brown hair covered most of her face, but I could tell she was young, maybe around early twenties, and beautiful despite being dirtied by dust and mud. Her plump breasts were clearly visible beneath her uniform shirt, pressing against its fabric as she breathed regularly.

"That's..."

The police officer that the protagonist group met at the mall, right?

[Dungeon] Chapter 44 – Profit!

Guy, who was still engaging Dullahan, heard the revelation and his eyebrow furrowed.

"Damn. No wonder he is so hard to kill!"

"Kakashi-sensei! There is a strange energy flowing from those doors." Neji said, "There must be something there."

Nodding at the revelation, Kakashi gave out command.

"Everyone, enter each door and deal with anything inside."

"Yes!"

Four shinobis, including Naruto, ran immediately to each door.

Following that, Rias also issued a command.

"Yuuto, Issei, Koneko, deal with the remaining door. There are only three of them left." Her expression hardened. "Akeno, let's support this green guy in defeating Dullahan. We can't allow it to recover!"

"Yes, President!"

The three of them immediately ran to the remaining door.

At the same time, Akeno prepared her lightning magic to deal with Dullahan. Rias also activated her power, imbuing the element of destruction on her right hand.

Meanwhile, Kakashi looked at them with his sharingan, trying to copy their moves. Guy, who had fought against Dullahan earlier, began to get exhausted.

Guy’s green aura was starting to fade as his stamina and chakra dwindled down. And the toll from opening the sixth gate was taking effect, making him barely able to stand.

"A little bit longer... Hold on..."

But, at that moment, Dullahan struck him.

Crack!

An unpleasant sound rang out. Dullahan's sword slammed against Guy's arms, and he was thrown backwards.

"Argh!"

"Guy!" Kakashi shouted. He moved quickly toward Dullahan to stop his movement, blue electricity surged through his hand, "Chidori!"

A piercing lightning followed by an ear-shattering cry echoed throughout the hall. A bluish white light illuminated the area and sparks danced across the ground. Kakashi was driven forward, pushing Dullahan backwards.

As a result, it paralyzed the monster. He noticed that the girls had finished the preparation and jumped away.

"Oh?" Rias was impressed when she saw Kakashi's technique.

Her lips curled upward and she smirked. "Well done! We can attack now."

Raising her right hand, she closed the palm and concentrated. While she couldn't make her power of destruction stronger now, she already felt what she was capable of when she lost control back then.

Remembering the feeling, she compressed her power of destruction into a ball, denser than ever before.

'Together with Akeno’s magic, we should be able to kill it.' She thought.

At the same time, Akeno breathed deeply. Yellow lightning sparkles appeared around her, forming an intricate web of arcs.

"Now!" Akeno shouted.

Both she and Rias aimed their powers at the struggling Dullahan. At first, Akeno's lightning bolt shot first, and a split-second later, Rias threw a dark red ball at him.

A dark streak shot across the ceiling, colliding with a massive thunderbolt.

Bang! Bang!

The powerful collision sent shockwaves across the space and rocked the very foundation beneath them, causing the ground to tremble with each impact. As the two elements collided and expanded, the world around them shook.

Destruction power and lightning clashed in a violent explosion that shook the entire structure, sending waves of energy radiating outward.

The intense heat and electrical currents produced by these two forces combined, creating a destructive vortex of chaos that swept through everything in its path.

In the center of that was Dullahan, with Kakashi right beside him. Dullahan suffered immensely, losing parts of his armor and burning black. Its lifeless body spasmed as he took in the pain, and his hands grasped weakly at nothing in the air.

On the other hand, Kakashi's face was pale from using too much chakra. He breathed heavily as he watched the scene.

"Did we do it?" He muttered, only to get a shout from Rias.

"Hey, you can't say that! You will raise the flag!"

"Eh?"

Kakashi blinked in confusion.

A flag?

"What are you talking about?" He asked, looking puzzled.

The girl from the otherworld was confusing. Even Guy didn't understand it and tilted his head in confusion. He already deactivated the Eight Gates technique and stood next to Kakashi.

However, even when they waited, nothing happened. Only the people entering the corridor behind the door returned while being slightly injured.

Noticing the strange atmosphere, Naruto asked.

"What's wrong?"

Realizing that she was wrong, Rias' face blushed in embarrassment.

Then, as if laughing at her plight, a fanfare played from somewhere and they all heard a voice from above.

[Congratulations for clearing floor 2-1! Will you continue to floor 2-2? Yes/no]

[Note: You will start from the random respawn point in case you enter again after returning. Please choose your choice carefully!]

Everyone looked at the notification and their jaws dropped.

All they had done so far was just one part of the floor?! Their faces showed their exhaustion.

While some, like Issei, Koneko, Neji, and Tenten who didn't fight as hard as the others, looked fine, they clearly couldn't continue without the rest of the group.

"What the hell!" Issei screamed. "It isn't over yet?"

"So that's why the dungeon dropped HP and Stamina potion?" Rias murmured with her hand on her chin, "No way, does that mean all dungeons are going to be this hard?"

The ninja started their discussion secretly away from the devils.

"Kakashi, I think we can't continue." Guy shook his head.

Looking at everyone's condition, Kakashi also agreed.

"Yeah, let's leave. We already investigated enough today."

They looked at each other and decided.

"No." Kakashi spoke, prompting the announcement to respond.

Once they rejected, everyone else followed suit. Soon, their bodies were covered in light and disappeared from the large room, leaving the devils alone.

Seeing that, Rias blinked a few times.

"Huh? They already left?" Then, her gaze looked at the floor. A few shiny coins lay on the floor. "Without even looting the monster drop?"

"It seems so." Akeno put her hand on her cheek.

Realization dawned on Issei, and he smirked evilly.

"It means we will get all the loot! Let's check what the Dullahan dropped too!"

"Profit." Koneko nodded with a small smile on her face. She seemed to be corrupted slightly by capitalism.

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, the three ORC members went to investigate the loot dropped.

They approached Dullahan's body and noticed something glimmering from under its remains. When they uncovered it, they saw two flasks filled with blue liquid and one with red liquid.

"2 MP potion and 1 HP potion. We struck gold!" Rias exclaimed happily. Her eyes shined with anticipation at their find and she couldn't help but smile brightly.

After collecting all Dungeon Coins, totaling 36 including the ones they got before, Rias and her peerage clicked no and left the dungeon.

[HOTD] Chapter 33 – A Predatory Gaze

After taking a shower with Miss Shizuka and doing a quickie inside, I slept immediately while being sandwiched between two naked beauties, my school nurse and my sister.

Due to mental exhaustion, I slept like a log until morning arrived.

I was awakened by a strange, wet sensation coming from below.

Looking down, I could see Saeko under the blanket. Her head was sticking out from below while her hands and mouth worked on my morning wood, sucking it vigorously.

"Slurp~♥ Did I wake you up, brother~?" She looked up at me with a lustful gaze, "Let me help you finish~"

She bobbed her head back down and resumed servicing me orally. She wasn't as skillful as Miss Shizuka, but the sloppy manner of her blowjob added to its effectiveness nonetheless. The sight of her beautiful visage covered in strands of saliva turned me on immensely.

Before long, I felt that familiar rush of blood coursing through my veins. My balls tensed and I held her head firmly as I shot my load directly into her welcoming throat. Greedily gulping down every spurt, she continued sucking me off until she drank everything dry.

Gulping sound came from her, and she licked her lips after pulling away my still stiff erection, leaving trails of sticky fluid clinging to her chin and cheeks. She cleaned her face with a tissue afterward and then smiled tenderly.

"Good morning, brother," she whispered lovingly into my ear before turning around.

I noticed that Miss Shizuka had woken up too, perhaps because of Saeko's activity. She stared at me with a satisfied expression plastered all over her pretty features.

"Fufufu, you're so energetic in the morning."

"What are you saying, Miss Shizuka? Weren't you the energetic one? Going three rounds without me last night was unexpected." Saeko retorted playfully, making Miss Shizuka blush.

I grinned sheepishly at the sight of the two girls bickering. They were already comfortable enough around each other to start teasing.

The sight of their naked bodies drew my attention next. Their magnificent curves and flawless complexions captivated me completely. They truly were goddesses descended upon mortals such as myself.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to indulge in my fantasy life. Remembering my plan, I coughed and stopped them.

"Miss Shizuka, I plan to go to the mall with Saeko today. What will you do?"

If possible I wanted her to stay. Having more people to watch would increase the chance of getting bitten.

"I am not sure..." The beautiful teacher scratched her cheek. "Maybe I will stay here. There are so many patients I need to treat."

"Okay then." I nodded at her and handed her my flip phone. "Please hold onto this. Even if the signal is gone, I want you to keep this so it doesn't get destroyed. There is also a chance that Miss Rika would send a message if we somehow get a signal."

Just in case.

From what I remembered, the phone's signal would return before the EMP blast occurred. I forgot the details, but Miss Shizuka talked with Miss Rika using Takashi's phone back then.

"If somehow the signal also returns, please contact Miss Rika and ask for her location. We can probably meet up with her if possible."

"Daiki..." Miss Shizuka looked at me with tears welling up in her eyes. "Yes."

As expected, she felt lonely and worried about her friend. Last night, she looked so down when sitting on that bench. If I didn't meet her, she would probably break down crying.

Fortunately, I helped ease her loneliness.

We got dressed soon after. I put my clothes back on alongside our weapons. After getting dressed, Miss Shizuka asked for a kiss, so I obliged. Our tongues entwined passionately before breaking apart reluctantly.

Saeko immediately sealed my mouth with her luscious lips, stealing my breath away for quite some time. When we parted, a strain of saliva connected between our mouths. She smiled cutely at me.

With Miss Shizuka staying, only me and my sister went outside. As we walked towards the mansion's exit gate, I met Takashi. He was talking with Rei and the other two. They also seemed to plan to leave the mansion.

"Takashi, are you going out?" I asked as I approached them.

"Ah, senior Busujima?" Takashi looked at me with a serious face, "Yes. Actually, we wanted to visit our parents. To check whether they are alive or not."

"I see." I hummed, looking at the others.

Kohta nodded at me while Rei looked as indifferent as usual.

However, the strangest reaction unexpectedly came from Saya. She kept staring at me since the start, and her face got redder each second. At the same time, I could see how she intentionally avoided eye contact and fiddled with her skirt hem.

"Are you going too?" I asked, curious as to why Saya joined them. She was already home, so why would she risk danger like that?

"Yes." She said weakly, avoiding my eyes. "I know how much Komuro wants to save his parents. He's my childhood friend and he has helped me many times, so I will help him in return."

I smirked, amused by the reason. It might only be an excuse for her. Probably she just wanted to be beside Takashi.

Saya glared at me, probably sensing what I was thinking.

'She's amusing.' I thought, 'And her reaction is cute. Maybe I should tease her from time to time.'

That kind of person would certainly react amusingly if teased.

Putting those thoughts aside, I decided to give advice. These children needed to prepare before venturing out there, and I was sure Don Takagi wouldn't approve of Saya risking herself like this.

"Don't take the shortest route there. Use alternative routes or use different methods of transportation. Also, keep a lookout on your surroundings, don't trust anyone blindly and assume that they could be infected." I explained seriously.

"What are you, my dad?" Saya sharply replied, rolling her eyes.

I smirked inwardly at that and decided to end the conversation right there.

"Anyway, I'll be heading off now. Take care." I waved goodbye and walked off, pulling Saeko behind me.

"Thank you for your concern, Senior Busujima!" Takashi shouted his thanks behind us.

I didn't bother to look behind and only waved my hand. Saya kept staring at me, her gaze lowered down to my groin. Just as I thought, the way she stared at me changed.

'I wonder why.'

Somehow I felt like a prey being targeted by a hungry predator.

[Dungeon] Chapter 43 – Hard Fight

The battle continued.

Dullahan had a pretty high VIT as an undead.

---

Race: Dullahan

STR: D

VIT: C

AGI: B

MP: C

HP: 460/800

Special Skills:

─ Mana Manipulation

─ Mana Slash

Trait:

─ Undead Lord: Able to absorb nearby Undead's HP and convert it into his. Conversion rate: 2:1.

---

Due to its natural Trait, it was able to recover HP every passing seconds. If the devils and the shinobis unable to land a solid attack, defeating it would be extremely difficult.

From Cain's observation, maybe Naruto's Rasen Shuriken or Rias' amplified Power of Destruction was able to destroy the Dullahan in one hit, especially since his HP had dwindled and the regeneration wasn't as fast as modified Wendigo.

Maybe Guy and Lee could also defeat the monster if they opened the fifth or sixth gate. But that would put them out of commission for the remaining run.

Their choice was to either destroy the monster in one hit or attack it until it couldn't recover. The latter would leave the two parties exhausted, while the former was impossible unless they knew Dullahan's trait.

"And that is why you don't want to meet him without Appraisal monocle," Cain chuckled.

In fact, his real purpose for putting the Dullahan in this place was to make them learn. Appraisal Monocle wasn't only useful to know an item's effect and description, but it could also look at the monster's status.

Cain had created it with an MMORPG game in mind, that's why he put Dullahan here. Unless the challengers knew his traits, they wouldn't stand a chance.

But, of course, he was thinking ahead about the challenge. If they were to fail this time, they could hunt the Elemental Tower to get another Appraisal Monocle, which only dropped from the boss monster, Wendigo (Small).

After all, their equipment would be dropped when they died.

'Hahaha, fools. They don't realize there are still undeads hiding in the corridors behind the door. Unless they kill them all first, Dullahan would keep recovering his HP.'

He took a sip of his Cola again. 'Mmmh, delicious!'

***

Back to the battlefield...

The ninja regained their footing as the shockwave ended. They looked at the destruction that unfolded before them.

The Dullahan's power had caused much devastation in the room, tearing apart everything in its path. Their jaws dropped at the sight of it.

"He is too strong." Naruto muttered.

"If we keep fighting like this, we will lose eventually." Guy said, his face grim. "Kakashi, I will open my gates and fight him alone. You go make some plan to defeat him."

"Guy..." Kakashi's eye widened. He nodded and opened his Sharingan, "Leave it to me."

The red eyes with three magatama circling the pupil allowed him to record any techniques or attacks used by enemies, effectively giving him an edge in any battle.

At the same time, Guy crossed his arms in front of his face and opened the gate.

First, second, third gate...

When he opened the fifth gate, a green aura enveloped him and he burst forth with newfound power.

This aura filled the room and startled Rias and her peerage. As Devil, they had sensed the immense strength radiating off of the man, and it filled them with awe.

It was clear that Guy possessed incredible strength and it was a wonder why they hadn't noticed it until now.

However, it wasn't over yet.

"Sixth Gate: Gate of View."

Boom!

"Open!"

Sound of popping bones could be heard as Guy opened the sixth gate. This time, the green aura around him intensified greatly, becoming even more powerful and intimidating.

Everyone felt the overwhelming pressure and they took a step back.

The only exception was Dullahan who didn't move at all and remained stoic.

"Here I come." Guy took a stance with his fist clenched.

His eyes were focused on the opponent in front of him.

Suddenly, he disappeared!

Gone from their sight, leaving behind only a faint trace of smoke, was Guy. When everyone realized it, he already stood behind Dullahan. His fist covered in fire smashed into the headless horseman's back.

Smoking fists covered in flames smashed into Dullahan's headless body.

Following that, a fury of fists sent Dullahan tumbling to the ground and flying into the air.

Dullahan groaned as he tried to retaliate against the devastating blows that had knocked him into the air. His sword whizzed through the air, trying to find purchase on something, anything that could break Guy's relentless assault.

The green beast of Konoha didn't stop his attack. In the air, he flipped his body backward. Then, when gravity worked on his body, he rotated his body and sent a kick straight at Dullahan's chest.

Impact!

The horseman groaned in pain as it flew away, landing with a loud thud against the wall and bouncing off the ground.

"Huff... Huff..." Panting heavily, Guy stood with his feet firmly planted on the ground. "Kakashi... How is it?"

"No use."

With his sharingan, Kakashi was able to gather some information.

Dullahan wasn't incapacitated even when taking those destructive attacks and its body didn't break down. He moved slowly to grab the sword lying on the ground and walked toward Guy.

"That monster is strange. After Guy-sensei sent him flying, its power recovered and its movements became faster." Neji explained to the others. "If we want to kill that monster, we must find its weakness."

"Can you see where it is?" Lee asked.

"Not really." Neji shook his head.

The devils watched as Dullahan fought against Guy once again, feeling the weight of the situation. None of them wanted to face such a formidable enemy, even if it meant their lives.

As he stared at the enemy, Issei spoke. "Guys... Maybe the Appraisal Monocle will show the monster's weakness?"

Hearing the unexpected suggestion from no one other than the famous pervert in Kuoh Academy, Rias and the others were stunned. They weren't expecting such an idea from him.

In the midst of confusion, only he was able to think about that.

Even Rias had to admit she missed the chance to use the Appraisal Monocle due to wave attack earlier, but she didn't show it on her face.

Instead, she coughed into her palm while putting the monocle on her eye.

"Of course I already know that, Issei. I just don't want to rely on an item if possible, though. Let's see." Rias said as she looked at Dullahan.

The information about the monster appeared. What was displayed was similar to what Cain's monster status showed, but it didn't show the monster's remaining HP, only the max HP.

"This Dullahan has the Undead Lord trait!" She shouted, "If there are other undead nearby, he can absorb their HP to recover!"

[HOTD] Chapter 32 – Hot Nurse

Nodding wordlessly, I positioned myself behind her and grabbed her ass cheeks roughly, spreading them apart. The pink, hairless slit glistened invitingly in moonlight and the dim light from the windows.

As I slid myself home inside her welcoming warmth, she cried out loudly in ecstasy, arching backward and reaching for my neck. Her huge boobs swung around violently as she squirmed beneath me.

My cock throbbed within her walls as they clenched tightly around it, milking me hungrily. I thrust forward hard enough that it drove most of my cock deep inside her. Then I began pumping away furiously.

"Ahn♥ Ahhhn♪ Yes, yess!♥ Oh god! More, please fuck me harder!"

Each stroke elicited another passionate scream of pleasure from Miss Shizuka. Her walls clamped tightly around my member, trying desperately to milk every drop of semen from my balls as quickly as possible.

Our bodies slammed together fiercely, and we soon became drenched with sweat and each other's fluids. Flesh slapping against flesh resounded throughout the otherwise quiet forest as we rutted against one another.

The nurse's large breasts bounced wildly as I fucked her from behind. Her face twisted in pleasure and her mouth hung open, tongue hanging limply from her lips.

I grunted and huffed as I rammed into her cunt. "You feel so fucking good!"

Every nerve in my body seemed charged with electricity as she continued to suckle my rod. My hips bucked wildly of their own accord as I pounded relentlessly into the tight confines of her womanhood.

Our frantic movements sent ripples across her voluptuous body and made her ample assets jiggle enticingly. The sight proved almost enough to drive me over the edge by itself, but somehow I managed to restrain myself.

Miss Shizuka panted heavily and gasped loudly in delight as I pounded her sensitive core. "Faster♥!"

She turned around and kissed me passionately, slipping her tongue between my lips and exploring my mouth thoroughly. We broke contact after several seconds, breathing heavily. Sweat rolled off her forehead and dripped onto the ground below.

My hand explored her shapely figure freely, kneading her firm buttocks and running along her smooth skin. Leaning forward, I latched onto one of her erect nipples and suckled greedily, causing the woman to arch her back in bliss.

"Kuu~~! I love you♥, I love you♥, I love you♥..." Miss Shizuka repeated over and over again as I violated her body relentlessly.

Before long I felt myself nearing climax once more.

"I am about to cum~" She announced breathlessly between kisses, "Please cum with me! Fill me up, fill me till my womb bursts!"

Following her desperate plea, I buried myself as deep as possible within her warm depths and spurted my seed deep inside of her.

Thick, white streams filled her insides and flooded out of her, dripping onto grass below us. A sharp, tangy smell permeated the surrounding area and clung to our sweaty forms.

At the same time, she squirted all over the ground, soaking the earth underneath our feet thoroughly. Exhausted and spent, the beautiful nurse collapsed against me, panting hard as I held her upright against me.

Finally satisfied for the moment, the two of us simply remained joined together, basking in mutual satisfaction and enjoying post-coital intimacy. Her body pressed tightly against mine as I supported her weight against me.

We rested like that for a while before breaking apart. She knelt in front of me and licked my limp cock clean, savoring its taste, and kissed it lovingly before putting it back into my pants.

"Amazing..." She panted heavily, "Let's do it again sometime...♥"

[Ding! You have received 150 Shop Points + 1 Agility]

She gave me an expectant glance as I buttoned up my trousers and pulled them back on. I flashed her a playful smirk and pecked her lips lightly.

"Of course. How about getting back to my room and taking a shower?" I asked, "It has a bathroom attached to it, so we won't wake anyone up."

"Fufufu, sure." She giggled and hugged me.

Thus, we headed back together.

***

In the shadow behind the tree, a girl showed herself as she watched the couple go back to the mansion. Her face lit by the moonlight visibly reddened due to what she had seen.

She held her pink hair, which was let loose instead of tied in the usual twintail.

"No way..."

Takagi Saya muttered under her breath, unconsciously covering her chest that felt uncomfortable. Her heart was pounding fast and heat spread all over her body, making it difficult to move.

She had never expected the school nurse she knew would make such a lewd face, nor the fact that Busujima Daiki would be that wild during sex. Not to mention, they actually did it outside the house, in public!

But more than that, the thought that bothered Saya the most...

"Why? Why does my body feel weird?" Saya murmured absentmindedly, her hand unconsciously reaching her wet lower part.

Just now, she had followed Daiki secretly because she wanted to talk to him. However, seeing the scene between him and Miss Shizuka, she lost her courage. But she couldn't help watching intently, which in turn triggered her awakening as a woman.

While it was her first time watching it directly, she knew that Daiki's size was impressive.

The image of his manhood spreading apart the nurse's inner flesh kept replaying in her mind.

'That would be so big inside...' She imagined, 'No! No!'

Saya slapped her cheeks with both her hands. After calming herself down, she quietly walked back to her room inside the mansion.

'I need to go back.'

Upon arriving at her room, she threw herself on the bed. She tried to forget what she saw earlier by closing her eyes, but instead, her mind replayed everything she witnessed.

"Hnn♥"

Driven by her instinct, her hand reached inside her panties and caressed her lower lips, feeling the warm and wet sensation there.

Then, her hand moved up and down slowly, touching herself carefully and tentatively.

"Mmmm..."

After a moment of hesitation, Saya pulled her shorts and panties down to her thighs, exposing herself completely underneath her nightgown. Reaching between her legs once again, she slowly inserted her middle finger into her tight passage.

"Ahn♥!"

The sudden intrusion caused an intense jolt of pleasure to shoot through her entire frame. Her slim thighs clamped around her invading digit reflexively. Her hard nipples brushed against her gown and sent sparks flying through her body.

She bit her lip hard as she struggled to stifle moans from escaping her throat. Despite being fully clothed, the simple act of pleasuring herself seemed far more erotic and arousing compared to her past experiences.

"Mn~♥" Unable to restrain herself anymore, Saya began rubbing vigorously back and forth, stimulating her engorged clitoris as she pumped two fingers inside her hole.

It took very little time before the teenaged girl orgasmed, gushing copious amounts of clear liquid onto her sheets. Gasping for air, Saya withdrew her soaked digits and brought them close to examine.

Only then did she realize what she had done and flushed red upon witnessing the sticky mess coating her fingers. A strange mixture of guilt and embarrassment washed over her.

"What... am I doing?"

Saya sat up on her bed and wiped her damp hands on her nightgown. Feeling unsatisfied and ashamed at having given in so easily, she resolved to never engage in such perverse activities again.

'Yeah! I must study and prepare for tomorrow. If we are going to survive in this situation, I can't waste time like this!' She decided.

But even so, she couldn't stop thinking about him.

[HOTD] Chapter 31 – Healing Loneliness

Now, I had a solid plan. If everything went according to plan, I would be safe and sound within the safety of Takagi's villa. I could also build my own army with the help of Don Takagi.

'As long as I appear loyal to him, he will support me.'

Afterward, we talked about the plan and who would come along. We decided that we would leave in three days, giving us enough time to gather supplies and prepare ourselves.

Using these three days efficiently would be important, as I wanted to increase the survival chance of my group, Saeko and Miss Shizuka.

And I wanted to use this chance to strengthen myself and my sister. With enough stats point, I would be able to defeat zombies easily.

To do that...

"Sis, do you want to accompany me for a walk outside? I am thinking of visiting the mall used for the evacuation shelter."

When we returned to our room, I told Saeko that.

Saeko looked at me, then nodded. "Of course. It's dangerous to go alone."

Night had arrived already, so we decided to rest. Saeko was too tired and slept early. As for me...

[Make your choice!]

1. Night is still young. Attack your sister while she's sleeping. (Reward: 50 Shop Points)

2. Fresh air seems good. Walk outside and go to a refugee camp and get a random girl while you're at it. (Reward: 100 Shop Points + 1 Agility)

3. You can't forget the nurse's soft and bouncy tits. She's also lonely so a quickie won't hurt, right? (Reward: 150 Shop Points + 1 Agility)

4. Why don't you take a break? Spending time with Takagi Saya sounds lovely. (Reward: 2 Stamina)

'I really need to talk with the system's creator.'

What kind of system would give me a choice at night like this?

Anyway, I did plan to talk with Miss Shizuka, so I chose the third option and left Saeko alone in the room. I didn't want to disturb her sleep, and I knew she wouldn't mind.

Besides, I needed to find someone to vent my lust. All these pent-up frustrations were driving me insane.

I walked around the mansion, searching for the room where the nurse stayed. Fortunately, I didn't have to look long because I found her sitting on a bench outside the building, sighing.

"Hey." I said, approaching her. "Are you alright?"

Hearing me, she looked up and smiled widely, seemingly hiding her tiredness and loneliness.

"Yes! I was just resting." She replied with a smile, "Why did you come here, Daiki? Do you want to chat with me?"

"Actually..." I scratched my head, trying to find an excuse, "... I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Oh? What is it? You're always welcome to ask me anything!" She said, leaning forward, exposing her cleavage.

When I sat down, she didn't hesitate to push herself toward me, her breasts pressing against my arms. I could feel her heart beating fast through the thin layer of clothes between us.

I couldn't help but stare at those two mounds. My cock stirred in excitement, and I felt my pants tightening as blood flowed downwards.

'Okay, I am not a saint. Even a normal guy can't resist that.'

"Daiki?" She smiled mischievously as she saw me staring at her chest, "Do you like my boobs? Fufufu, I know you're always looking at them."

She then stood up and sat on my lap. Her warm body pressed against mine, and I could smell the sweet scent of her perfume.

Leaning toward me, she suddenly kissed me. Our lips met, and our tongues danced together. Her hands roamed around my body, touching my muscles and skin.

She pulled back after a few moments, panting heavily.

"Daiki, let's do it now. I'm so horny." She purred seductively, "I need your dick inside me, filling me up completely."

Not saying anything, I grabbed her waist and picked her up, carrying her to a nearby tree. We were hidden by foliage and shadows, but we weren't afraid of getting caught.

Miss Shizuka moaned softly when my fingers slipped into her panties and touched her clit. She rubbed herself against my finger eagerly, wanting more stimulation.

As I continued to play with her pussy, she grinded her hips against my hand harder and faster.

"Mmmm~" Miss Shizuka breathed out hotly, her eyes glazed over with desire.

Night hid our deed, but not the voice. She tried her best not to get too loud, but it was difficult to contain oneself from making sounds during sex.

I moved my fingers deeper inside her and stroked her G-spot repeatedly until she finally climaxed, squirting all over my palm and wrist. As I withdrew my hand, her juices trickled down my forearm and dripped onto the ground below.

"Look at this." I grinned widely, "How dirty."

Miss Shizuka blushed slightly, biting her lower lip, and covered her mouth with her sleeve. Then, without warning, she fell on her knees and unzipped my jeans, taking out my erection.

"Ah♥" She cooed adoringly at the sight before kissing the tip of my cock lovingly, tasting the pre-cum oozing from its slit.

Without any hesitation, she wrapped both hands around it and started jerking me off while licking its tip. Her saliva mixed with precum soon coated my entire shaft, making it slick and easier to handle.

"Ugh..."

The pleasure was overwhelming. I groaned and thrust my hips upward instinctively, forcing more of myself into her mouth. She accepted my action willingly and swallowed the whole thing easily, deepthroating me like a pro.

"Ahhh~ Mmmf♥" she moaned lewdly around my length as she sucked on me eagerly.

Her lips stretched wide as she worked on swallowing every inch of me, her throat contracting rhythmically as she bobbed her head up and down my pole. Every time she came back up, she paused briefly to breathe and lick clean the mess she made of my crotch before continuing to work again.

Eventually, her efforts paid off; my balls tensed up and I gripped tightly onto her hair, holding her still. Then, with one final, powerful push, I shot thick ropes of semen straight down into her stomach.

I released her head afterward but she remained kneeling before me, gasping for air as cum leaked out of the corners of her mouth.

After recovering, she smiled happily, showing me the amount of jizz she held in her mouth.

"Fufu~ It tastes delicious~" she said mischievously before gulping it all down at once. "Your cock feels amazing, Daiki ♥."

Seeing her eager face, my limp penis quickly got erected again. As if understanding what I wanted, Miss Shizuka turned around, putting her hands on the tree and raised her wet pussy toward me.

"Fuck me now." She said with a sexy voice, "I need it bad♥"

[HOTD] Chapter 30 – Change of Plan is Necessary

Our return to the mansion was uneventful.

However, the group's morale was low because of the death and injuries that happened to the advance party. Everyone looked exhausted and tired, so we didn't speak much on the trip.

The Takagi mansion was the same as always. I was expecting a horde of zombies to surround the mansion, but it seems like my worries were unnecessary.

I did see some fresh zombie corpses lingering around with slash wounds, so I guess the guards or Saeko killed them before they got too close.

After a brief report to the guards, Don Takagi entered the mansion with us.

Many refugees looked at our bloodied returns with worried faces, but no one tried to speak up. They didn't know what happened at the factory and were afraid to ask questions.

It was understandable, considering the fact that the world has gone to hell in just two days.

As for our group, Don Takagi and his family were escorted to the main hall by Honda and some of the survivors, while I decided to find Saeko first and foremost. I asked the guard and was shown to a tent near the refugee camp.

"Daiki!"

Just as I entered the tent, a blonde figure jumped on me. She was wearing the same clothes as when she left the factory, but now she wore a white coat on top of it.

Soft mounds pushed onto my face. I could feel her heart pounding rapidly in her chest, and her warm breath tickling my neck.

"Miss Shizuka, please don't jump on me like this." I said, gently pushing her back.

"Sorry~" She giggled and backed away, "I'm glad you're alright."

Only when she released me did I able to look around. Saeko looked at me warmly, smiling. Her face was clean and her hair was combed neatly. Saya was also there, sitting on a chair beside her.

"Welcome back, brother." Saeko said. "I knew you would succeed."

"Thanks." I replied, smiling back. "Where is everyone else?"

"Takashi and Kohta are outside, probably walking around. Saya and Rei are in the mansion with Mrs. Takagi to clean up. I helped Miss Shizuka tend to the injured earlier." She said, "We have been waiting for your arrival."

"Then..." I said, "Alright. You should rest for a bit. I'm going to meet the Takagis."

Saeko nodded and approached me, "I will go with you."

Well, I guess that’s natural.

I turned around and walked towards the mansion with her. Miss Shizuka was busy tending to the injured survivors from the mission earlier.

Strangely, I didn't feel as tired as before when I ran at full speed. Was my Stamina stats also affecting the recovery speed? In that case, I might have to choose a choice that increases it in the future.

'The most important thing is to survive. My current strength is enough to destroy zombies with bare hands and my agility is enough for me to run faster than them.'

The problem was the dog zombies I saw earlier. They were pretty fast and ferocious from their looks.

'They can be a problem in the future. I better keep an eye out for those creatures.'

Anyway, Saeko and I walked through the hallways of the mansion until we reached the main hall. The door was wide open and there were people gathered inside.

Saya and her mother, Yuriko, were sitting on the couch with Don Takagi. Meanwhile, Honda and the others were standing nearby. They all looked tense and worried.

Did we arrive at a bad time?

Before I could excuse myself with Saeko to avoid some troublesome stuff, Don Takagi called out to me when he noticed my presence.

"Busujima Daiki. We need to talk about the future."

"Alright." I replied and stepped forward, standing beside the Don.

He gestured for me to sit on the chair next to him, which I did. Saeko sat next to me as if it's natural.

"I have been thinking." Don Takagi said, "I have been thinking about how to save the world. However, this is something bigger than us, bigger than our country or even our continent. This is a global issue."

He looked at me seriously. "Daiki, what do you think we should do?"

I knew where this was going.

After raiding the water treatment plant and realizing that nothing went well, only able to rescue two survivors while sacrificing a few men, Don Takagi's ambition to bring back the normalcy of the society waned.

It seemed that he realized how hard it would be. It was not like an earthquake or a tsunami, the world didn't end in just one night. It happened slowly, and it would take a long time to fix everything.

For example, we didn't know whether the zombies would die naturally or not. What if they didn't die? How long would the world be like this? A month? A year? Or even a decade?

Don Takagi's expression darkened as he pondered these questions.

"As everyone knows, we can't stay here forever. Eventually, food will run out and water will become scarce. We need to leave this place as soon as possible."

To secure a better place, or maybe to find another place to settle down. Either way, the Takagi mansion couldn't accommodate this many people. There was a limit on how long the current supply of food and water could last.

Preferably we could find countryside that allowed us to be self-sufficient with our food and water.

I also thought of that while preparing for the apocalypse, but I realized it was impossible for highschool boy to do everything. In Japan, the legal age of 20 kept me from trying to borrow money or buy property without my guardian's approval.

Hence, I spent all my money to stock food, medicine, tools that could help me in the long run and hid them in our house's cellar. No one would be able to find it except me and my sister.

'I won't share these stocks with anyone.' I thought.

So I needed a base to store them safely. Only then, I would reveal my trump card.

Fortunately, the Takagis had a plan.

"As you all know, we are planning to move to the countryside. We have a villa there, and it is a perfect place to stay for a while." Don Takagi continued, "However, it would take time to get ready. And we won't be able to bring everyone."

"I will follow your decision, sir." A man wearing white shirt said, bowing deeply.

I recognized him as Yoshioka, Don Takagi Souichiro's loyal subordinate. He had followed the Don since the beginning and was a member of politican's entourage.

Yoshioka and Honda were the ones who survived in the water treatment factory's incident. They had sworn their allegiance to Don Takagi, and would follow his order no matter what.

"Yes, I am grateful for your loyalty." Don Takagi nodded and looked at me, "What about you, Daiki?"

I thought about the offer and Saeko's well-being.

Based on my research prior to the apocalypse, the nearest countryside was in Higashiyama District. It was a forested area surrounded by the mountains and rivers.

It had a small town, but it was mainly known for its natural beauty.

If we went there, we could live in peace.

Yes, it would be ideal to live there.

Normally, I would stay in the city to try and survive, but this world wasn't normal. I needed to adapt and change my plan.

However, there was a problem.

'The zombified animals.'

Right. In the countryside, animals could be infected by the zombie virus and turn into zombies. That was a huge issue, but I didn't know how much threat they posed.

'What to do?' I thought to myself, 'Should I risk it?'

I looked at Saeko, then at Don Takagi. They would be useful in the long run. Their influence and connection to the government could help us survive this crisis.

'If it's really bad, I can always run away with Saeko.' I concluded.

"That's a good decision." I said to Don Takagi. "I will join you."

Don Takagi smiled at me. "I'm glad you agree. You and your sister will be welcome. Now, we need to decide who else to take with us."

"Of course." I replied, smiling back at him.

'You're not the only one who's happy about this arrangement, old man.'

[Dungeon] Chapter 42 – Dullahan

Naruto and the ninja only stared at him confused.

But Rias, understanding the danger, gave an order to her peerage immediately.

"Issei, Yuuto! Full guard! Now!"

Yuuto stepped forward and created a wall with his Sacred Gear, Sword Birth.

"Sword Birth!"

Countless swords emerged from the ground, creating a fence line separating the enemies from them.

Dullahan neighed as his horse's hooves struck against the ground. A surge of energy coursed through the air as he unsheathed his sword. Its blade glinted menacingly in the dim light as he lifted it above his head, ready to strike.

The devil's party gasped as they saw it, feeling threatened. However, before Dullahan could act, someone shouted and rushed toward the monster.

"Konoha Senpu!" Guy exclaimed as he spun around, his feet slamming against Dullahan's head in a series of rapid kicks.

His powerful kicks seemed to have no effect on Dullahan, though he managed to force him back. Unfortunately, he was not strong enough to knock him out of balance.

In a surprising move, Dullahan countered by swinging his sword. The blade slashed at Guy's shoulder, ripping through fabric and drawing blood. Guy winced and stumbled backwards.

Seeing the opportunity to strike again, the horseman charged towards him.

But, his momentum abruptly halted when a white-haired ninja suddenly appeared beside the horse, his hand crackled with lightning.

"Chidori!"

Without any hesitation, the white-hair ninja thrust his fist forward. An electric charge surged through the air as Kakashi struck Dullahan's body, sending electricity through the metallic armor.

The electricity caused Dullahan to scream in pain and writhe. His body convulsed and writhed as he fought to withstand the onslaught of electric shocks coursing through him.

However, it did not deter the Dullahan completely, because he broke free from Chidori's hold after a few moments. As an undead monster, he had high endurance for both physical and magical attack.

Dullahan commanded his horse to rush forward. Kakashi narrowly dodged the charge, but the horseman swiftly turned and aimed his sword at his throat.

Kakashi saw the attack coming. With incredible speed and agility, he rolled away and onto his feet. He was quick to counter-attack, and threw a few shurikens at his opponent.

The Dullahan deflected the shurikens with ease using his sword.

Then, without skipping a beat, he launched himself into a furious attack, lunging towards Kakashi with his sword held high above his head. It was as if nothing could deter him from achieving his goal, even in death.

Kakashi attempted to dodge his incoming attack. However, it was too fast and powerful, so he prepared to block it when a yellow lightning suddenly fell from the ceiling.

"Lightning!"

Boom!

Akeno's magic managed to stop Dullahan from striking. Rias then stretched her hand and used her power.

"Power of destruction!"

A beam of crimson magic was formed on her palm and traveled through the air, striking Dullahan's headless body. Its body was engulfed in darkness and disintegrated slightly.

Roaring, the Dullahan swung his sword in rage, trying to dispel the power of destruction that surrounded him.

"Oh, my!" Akeno said as she raised both hands and summoned a powerful bolt of lightning. "How strong!"

At the same time, Naruto dashed forward and called one clone. He extended his hand, and a blue light sphere materialized in the shape of a ball between his palms.

"Rasengan!"

With a great amount of energy concentrated in the form of a sphere, he attacked the monster. He thrust his palm forward with a surge of determination and determination, striking the beast with tremendous force.

A powerful blast ripped through the air and Dullahan was blown away from its horse, which neighed frantically in fright. Dullahan landed on the ground, using his sword to stop his movement.

"Even that didn't work?!" Naruto exclaimed in surprise.

All attacks they sent earlier were enough to defeat normal zombies or skeletons. Not even the Big Zombie could take that many hits. But Dullahan showed how strong it was, surviving the attacks and still standing with only a light injury.

"He is quite strong!" Neji, who came beside Naruto, muttered. "I can't see its weak points either."

"So that means we just need to attack him without stopping!" Tenten unruffled the large scroll on her back and used her jutsu. "Kai!"

Countless weapons came out of her scroll and rained on the monster. But it wasn't the end.

Using this chance, Yuuto stabbed his sword on the ground and used his Sacred Gear once again.

"Sword Birth!"

Swords started appearing on the ground, surrounding Dullahan.

Facing the countless weapons raining at him from the air and the ground, Dullahan took on a stance. His sword was covered in an eerie purple light as magical runes appeared on it.

"Oh no!"

"Everyone, fall back!"

The first one noticing the danger was Akeno and Rias, who could feel the power emanating from the sword. They immediately created barriers and walls to protect themselves.

Neji's Byakugan detected the increase of mana or what the ninja called chakra. His face paled and he shouted, "Tenten, everyone, fall back! That thing is gathering chakra!"

"Get behind me." Kakashi commanded everyone and created hand signs. His hands moved so fast that nobody could tell what he was doing.

With the last hand sign created, he put his palms on the ground and used the jutsu.

"Doton: Doryūheki."

Earth rose from the ground, forming a thick wall in front of him with four dog faces engraved on it. Everyone immediately used it as a cover and got ready for the upcoming attack.

While this happened, Dullahan swung his sword. It unleashed an arc slash attack that instantly tore everything apart. Countless weapons crumbled as the invisible power slashed them apart.

Next, the earth wall was torn apart by the power, breaking into small pieces and shattered.

"Huh, the wall!?" Kakashi's eyes widened.

The shockwaves travelled further. It sent Kakashi and everyone flying toward the wall behind them.

Crash! Thud!

Some crashed into the wall and fell to the floor, while some managed to hold their footing.

Not even the Devils' barrier could hold on against the attack. They were also blown away, although it wasn't too severe due to the distance between them.

Cain was excited and he rubbed his hand watching this exciting battle unfold in front of him. He could hardly contain his enthusiasm at the thought that his enemies were facing such an unexpected challenge.

"This is amazing." He chuckled. "Now that's what I call an epic fight! Haha, nice job, Dullahan!"

"Kuh!?" I groaned at the shockwave.

"What the hell?!" Takashi shouted, "What the heck is happening?!"

All zombies immediately turned their attention to the factory building. I looked over, noticing a smoke rising from a window.

"Shit!" I cursed.

As if laughing at this situation, the choice appeared.

However, thinking about it for a second, my plan to return the society to normal would be useless if there was no leader. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't do it alone as a high school boy.

I needed a figurehead to gather and unite the survivors, and Don Takagi was that person.

Without him, this city was doomed. I could escape and try to survive alone, but that would be difficult. I didn't know where to find food or clean water.

System? How could I rely on such an unreliable one?

"Papa!" Saya's scream snapped me from my thoughts.

She ran inside the building, but was stopped by Saeko.

"It's too dangerous!" Saeko reasoned with her, holding her arms.

"But Papa is inside! I can't leave him to die!" She yelled, trying to break free.

The Takagi family was important, but they weren't my only choice. I could survive alone and find a way to get out of this city, maybe even leave Japan.

But then I remembered Saeko, and how she told me she would follow me wherever I go.

'Ah shit. I don’t want to burden her with another plan, so this is the best choice I can choose.'

"Everyone, go into the humvee and leave immediately!" I shouted.

Everyone looked at me in confusion.

"Don Takagi told us to secure this place. Going inside right now will just add more zombies to the factory. Return to Takagi Estate and call for help. I'll save him." I told them, "Saeko, you are in charge. Go."

Everyone was silent, but Saeko nodded and led the group to the humvee. However, Miss Shizuka and Saya stayed.

"But Daiki." Miss Shizuka said, "We can't just leave them like this!"

"Let me come too!" Saya said, "I can't abandon Papa and Mom!"

I turned around and looked at the building, seeing the black smoke rising from inside.

Zombies were still going in, but not as many as before. They were probably heading to the noise source, that was the explosion.

"Just fucking go. I have no energy to protect you. If it's me alone, then I can move and assess the situation quietly. I will leave this place in ten minutes. If I don't return, you know what will happen." I said to them coldly.

"Brother, let's go together." Saeko suggested. "It's dangerous to go in there alone."

I shook my head. "It's fine. Just go. Just trust me, okay?"

She stared at me for a moment before nodding her head. "Alright. We'll wait for you at the mansion. If you don't return in a day, or if no communication arrives, I will find and kill you myself."

That was a joke, but I knew Saeko wasn't kidding. If I didn't return, she would probably go to find and kill me.

However, she didn't need to worry.

"I'll make sure to get back in time." I said with a smile.

She nodded and got into the driver seat of the humvee. Miss Shizuka was driving the jeep and everyone else got in. Kohta had to force Saya to enter the humvee, and then locked the door to prevent her from leaving.

As they drove away from this place, I looked at the factory building and sighed.

'Let's do this.'

I chose the third option.

[Ding! You have received 500 Shop Points + 3 All Stats. Congratulations, you have become the honored one.]

This unreliable system still had time to joke around like this.

Still, thanks to it, I managed to calm down and think carefully.

Some zombies lingered near the entrance, so I popped one flashbang and threw it to the ground, catching their attention.

Flash!

"Hwaaa..."

Attracted by the loud sound, the zombies turned and walked to the flashbang. While they were distracted, I dashed to the entrance.

'I should check the first floor first.' I decided, 'If I'm lucky, they should still be around there, or near the explosion source.'

I was pretty surprised by my speed. Right now, I had double the status when I first transmigrated. By simple math, I should be twice as fast, but it didn't seem that way.

'Almost one and a half? No, maybe even lower. So the growth isn't linear, I think? I am not at some superhuman level yet.'

As I pondered on my current ability, I arrived at the entrance and entered the building. It was dark and quiet, but I could hear the sound of gunfire from somewhere deeper inside.

'Don Takagi is alive, huh.' I thought to myself.

A good sign, he was alive.

I followed the sound and soon found myself in a hallway. There was a door at the end of it and I could see light coming through the gap underneath. As I got closer, the sound of gunshots and swords clashing became louder.

Many footsteps belonging to zombies were also audible.

'Heh, I guess I should hurry up.'

I ran as fast as possible, my feet pounding against the floor. On my way, I bought one hand-grenade from the shop.

I opened the door and looked inside. It was a large room, filled with corpses of the undead.

Don Takagi was fighting alongside his men, but they looked tired and were surrounded. I also saw some people who were injured, being protected by two men.

'Damn. How did they end up like this?'

There were corpses of people too, the advance party most likely.

Some men noticed me and relayed messages to Don Takagi. He turned around and looked at me.

"Busujima Daiki? What are you doing here?! Why aren't you with the others?!"

"They returned to your house! It's getting too dangerous to stay, and I came to rescue you." I replied, "Cover your ears for a second and run toward this way at my signal."

"What?" One of Don's men asked, looking at me.

I didn't explain further. I pulled out the grenade's safety pin with my teeth and threw it.

"Fire in the hole!" I shouted and covered my ears.

Boom!

The explosion was loud and shook the ground beneath our feet. The zombies that were close to the explosion were blown apart by the blast while the other fell backwards due to the shockwave.

"Run!" I yelled again, covering my ears. "I will clear a path!"

I unsheathed my sword and dashed back. My body moved swiftly as I slashed through the zombies that blocked my path.

"Follow me!" I shouted to the survivors.

They did so without hesitation, following behind me as we ran towards the exit.

"Kyaaa!" Shrill scream rang from behind.

A man was bitten by a zombie, but I ignored him and continued running. I had no time to waste on him right now. If I did, more people would die.

"I will remember you." Don Takagi quickly stopped and beheaded him before he could turn into a zombie. "Let's run!"

We continued to run until we reached the exit.

Before entering, I made sure to remember my path so we wouldn't get lost.

After reaching the door, I checked the surroundings and saw that there was a crowd outside. The zombies I attracted by flashbang earlier tried to enter when they heard the grenade's explosion.

"Shit." I cursed and took a step back. "There are too many!"

"We need to go through the second entrance." Don Takagi said, panting. "Honda, you lead the way."

One of his men nodded and went ahead of us. I followed him, my sword ready in my hands. After a few turns, we arrived at a big door.

"This is a service entrance for the workers." Honda explained, "It's usually locked, but it seems that someone opened it before we got here. We can leave through this door."

Don Takagi nodded and gestured for us to go in.

I followed behind Honda, but was surprised when I saw a zombie crawling on the floor suddenly leaped toward him.

"Watch out!" I shouted and slashed at the zombie's head with my sword. I then turned around and kicked another one in the stomach, sending it flying backward. "Keep running!"

The group of men ran past me and left through the door.

We were still followed by zombies, but they weren't that fast.

"Busujima Daiki, let's go!" Don Takagi called out to me.

"Yeah."

Pulling the pin from my last flashbang, I threw it behind me and quickly followed them. They prepared the vehicles quickly and started the engine.

At the same time, the flashbang exploded, creating a louder sound that attracted all zombies to it. I got into the backseat of a car where Don Takagi and two others were waiting for me. It was Honda who was driving.

"Honda, take us back to my house." Don Takagi ordered. "Everyone else, follow us."

"Yes, sir." Honda replied.

I looked at the other people in the car. There was a woman and a man who looked like an employee of the water treatment plant.

I wondered how they could survive this long, but now wasn't the time to ask questions. We needed to leave this place before the horde of zombies caught up to us.

And as the vehicle began moving, I saw something in the corner of my eyes. A figure resembling a dog was running on all fours among the zombies, trying to follow our cars.

However, it was too late. We already left the factory, leaving the weird zombie behind.

"Daiki." Don Takagi spoke up, "Thank you for saving us. We owe you our lives. If there is anything I can do to repay this debt, just say so."

"Please save your thanks for later, sir." I said, smiling, "Let's return to the mansion and rest first."

I already got my payment from the system, but this was also a good opportunity to get closer to the influential Don. I had a few things in mind.

‘For now, I want to rest. It’s so exhausting.’

[Dungeon] Chapter 41 – Endless Monster Attack

Kakashi and his group realized this, and the moment they were about to fight...

They heard someone shouting from a different place.

"Wha?! What the fuck is this?!"

A boy with spiky brown hair shouted in surprise when he saw the group. Behind him were a boy and 3 girls in school uniform, each with their own different expression on their face.

The red-haired girl, Rias, looked around and noticed the ninja group. She stroked her chin for a second before saying something to her group in a low voice.

"I think this is a wave attack. I have seen this in a game before. The character's group and another group are transported to the same room and they have to fight a wave of monsters to advance to the next area."

"I see. President, what will you do?" Akeno, the long black haired beauty asked.

"We will follow the dungeon rule." She said, flicking her hair back, "And that's whoever kills the monster gets the loot. If they attack, we will counterattack them. But we shouldn't attack them first. We still have a chance for peace. Is everyone okay with that?"

They all nodded and Rias smiled. She raised her hand and gave a sign to the ninja group. She gestured at them that they were friendly and were only here for the monsters.

Kakashi and Guy saw the signal and nodded. Kakashi gave the other the order to only attack the monsters.

Almost at the same time, two groups moved out to take the monster.

Starting from Akeno, she used her lightning magic to take the skeleton out, breaking them into pieces.

Rias then activated her magic. "Destruction!"

A red magic circle appeared on her palm and a black ball of destruction shot toward the big zombie in front of her. It destroyed his head in a single attack and the zombie turned to ash.

Issei, Yuuto and Koneko were attacking with their swords and fists.

"Boost!" Issei activated his Boosted Gear and his strength increased, making his attack more destructive. He attacked with more vigor and determination, slicing through the skeletons like butter.

As the devils were attacking the enemies, Naruto and the ninja group did the same.

"Rasengan!"

Naruto used the Rasengan to attack the big zombie, killing him. Neji attacked with Hyuga Gentle fist, and Lee was also punching and kicking the skeletons and zombies.

Both groups observed each other as they defeated the monsters.

"Whoa, what kind of jutsu is that? Something came out of her hand and the big monster's head disappeared!" Naruto exclaimed, seeing the attack.

Kakashi and Guy also saw what happened. They couldn't explain how, but it looked like the girl used a high-level jutsu to defeat the big enemy. It was quite powerful.

Meanwhile, Rias also got surprised by the ninja's efficiency. Despite being humans, their attack was stronger than Issei and Koneko. Especially the two in strange green jumpsuits and the blonde one, they were fighting the big zombie easily.

Even though they weren't attacking the same enemies, both sides knew they would fight the other if the situation went to the worse. It was obvious, as they were from a different group and there were people they didn't trust.

However, they recognized each other.

'They are strong.'

The battle continued.

Monsters kept pouring out of the doors. Their roars, footsteps, and rattling sounds were the only noises in this large room.

It was chaos as they all fought, each side taking on the enemies that they could handle. But they didn't stop there, as more monsters kept coming out.

"Damn, this is endless! What should we do?!" Issei complained as he cracked a skeleton's skull.

He stepped back to avoid another monster, but bumped into something. Driven by instinct and adrenaline, he turned around to elbow the one behind him.

"Whoa, watch where you strike."

That someone behind stopped his elbow attack easily. The blond ninja turned and smirked at Issei. "You almost hit me. But I like it, your elbow strike is good!"

"Ah... Sorry." Issei said awkwardly, "And thanks for stopping me."

"No problem, no problem. Just make sure you don't accidentally attack us." He then ran back to the battlefield and jumped into the air, kicking a big zombie on the face and breaking its jaw.

Then, he landed on the ground and used his signature jutsu.

"Kagebunshin no Jutsu!"

Smoke enveloped the area as multiple Naruto clones appeared. They immediately attacked the monsters in the surrounding area.

Watching it, Issei couldn't help but shout.

"Dude! What the heck is that?! You can multiply yourself?!"

"Hahaha! I am a ninja, and ninja can do anything!" Naruto exclaimed.

He and his clones then used the rasengan to kill more zombies.

Watching this, Rias also couldn't believe what she was seeing. She knew this was something impossible to do, but she also realized that it wasn't magic. It was a different kind power.

"President, watch out!" Kiba shouted, and Rias immediately snapped out of her daze. She dodged a big zombie that tried to grab her.

She quickly used a high-level destruction spell to destroy him. At that moment, a clone of Naruto appeared beside her and he was also fighting the zombie.

"Rasengan!"

The rasengan killed the zombie, turning him into a dust of ash. The clone turned to Rias and smiled.

"I am glad you're okay!" He then ran off to the other monster, fighting the horde with the other clones.

"..."

Rias' eyes widened when she saw what he did.

"What was that?"

She didn't understand how he could conjure the blue ball on his hand and use it as a weapon to destroy the big zombies.

"President, are you okay?"

She snapped back to reality and turned to Akeno. Her vice-president had come to help her as well, using magic to kill the enemies.

"I am alright. What about the other?"

"I think they will be fine." She said, and they both turned to the ninja.

The ninjas were strong, stronger than Rias and her group. But they were only human, and it would be hard for them to deal with so many enemies at once.

Koneko, Issei, and Akeno kept fighting on the sides. Many shiny coins fell on the ground as they defeated more enemies. However, the enemies were too much, making them unable to collect the coins.

"I think it won't be over soon."

"Yeah, I think so too. Keep thinning them as much as possible."

Both continued their assault, helping the others with their attack. They didn't have any intention of fighting the other group and focused on killing the enemies instead. But the number was too much and it made them feel a bit anxious.

They could only rely on each other and the ninja group.

As for the ninja group, they were in the same situation as well.

"This is not going well." Kakashi sighed as he blocked an attack from a skeleton with his kunai. His arms were tired, and his chakra almost depleted, "Unless we find a way to seal those doors, the enemies are going to keep coming."

"What do we do, Guy-sensei?" Lee asked as he kicked a skeleton away from him.

Guy stood tall, striking a pose. He then turned to them, "Do what you think is right, Lee! Show them our youth!"

"Okay!"

Both Guy and Lee continued their attack, but the number of enemies was increasing rapidly. The group of ninjas didn't know what to do.

Watching them facing a despairing battle, Cain chuckled evilly. His hands moved faster moving some monsters to the trap and his lips curved into a smile as he typed on the keyboard.

At one point, he stopped and raised his hands from the control.

"Alright, that's enough playing around. I think it's time for the finishing touch."

With that, he stopped moving the monsters from other part of the dungeon and opened the main gate. A strong and terrifying aura washed over the room, and the atmosphere changed instantly.

At that moment, a horse's galloping sound echoed throughout the room. It sounded as if it was coming closer, getting louder with each second.

A giant black horse appeared behind the door and charged into the room, its neck was cut and in the place of its head a blue flame floated.

There was a rider on it, a headless rider clad in black armor that held a bow and a sword. The rider radiated a chilling, eerie aura that sent shivers down the spines of all who were present.

Everyone's attention turned to him, the new, mysterious entity that had entered the fray. They watched with wide eyes and gaping mouths as he approached them with a slow, ominous walk.

Each step he took was measured and deliberate, as if he was sizing up the scene. No fear was evident in his face; rather, it seemed as if he was looking forward to what was about to happen.

Naruto and the devils gasped at the same time when they saw it. Both parties felt tremendous pressure from that enemy.

Recognizing the appearance, Issei shouted loudly.

"A Dullahan!"
