I loved making this costume so much. It was one of the trickiest we've made but hands down one of my faves. And after all this work, I didn't the dumbest thing. We were driving a few hours away to meet up with my cousin and her kids to trick-or-treat. I forgot to bring the costumes!! Sunday kind of love 💖

We are taking advantage of the cooler weather. Getting back to all of those outdoor projects that we've been putting off since the hot summer days hit. It feels good to return to fixing up the house as well. It's good for the mind and soul. Your environment can def be a reflection of how you are feeling so to see a cleaner, updated home makes for a happier Dally-Hammy house.

This past weekend I went on a solo turn around road-trip. I was wearing my Doc Martens and blasting the The Smashing Pumpkins album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I was feeling the nostalgic flashback vibes for real. Not sure all the songs in this video still hold up on my list today but it's a fun look back to when we first started the channel.

Starting from scratch

I'm missing our last farmstead like crazy these days. This time of year has me thinking about all the homey, cozy, country vibes we had created at our last home. We still have a ways to go before we get there with this new house but it is on it's way. The chickens are out roaming the yard but I have yet to create the garden, the next step in building our little piece of the world.

I got to see one of my very favorites of all time, Patty Griffin, last night at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. I went with my good friend Scott who reminded me last night at the show that it had been 16 years since he took me to my first Patty show in Solano Beach, Ca.
