JOY JOY JOY every song, stylistic choice, variation, remix, and stage design is picked intentionally and I love this. So some of my favorite parts in no particular order are:

So I know NIL, the strategies i thought would work failed and the ones I laughed at worked the best.

I agree with JYP's comments about the best performance it was just so mature and confident. Tzuyu really has improved massively, she stands out and own her style. I do wish we got to see more of that in her debt. Jeongyeon is attractive to watch and Nayeon is that ace.

Placing dance as such a focus shows how dominant K-pop has become, which I love. I do hope there will be a vocal focus because a group that can dance without strong singers, isn't it!

The focus on 'star quality' is soo interesting because instinctively it feels like it shouldn't determine so much but yet I feel myself been drawn to certain girls over others. E.g the contrast of Manon vs Adéla. Adéla is an all rounder, one of the few yet I am drawn more to watch Manon even though her...

Tzuyu Run Away Dance Practice

The more I watch it the more I see the vogue/model aspects in her dance. She holds her frame and poses for a bit for us to take it in. There are some interesting shapes she creates with her dancers too.

This changed everything. I explained in my discovery that I liked them but it wasn't an instant hit so with so many other commitments it was a 'get to' rather than a 'do now', Well immediately after this I filmed Discovery 2.

 This was more than a Documentary. i felt like we got an insight into their hopes and dreams and the staff's emotions. Everyone seems soo invested in this and I'm nervous for those that will get cut. I'm also excited to see how the girls gel and become Katseye.

One thing I enjoy about JYPE groups is how they value personalities not just in a variety content but also in the Music. So I like that this episode highlighted this and showed us how they are as people. it was a little biased toward Korean members who had trained a while but we got the general gist, how you treat people when the cameras aren't looking is as important as on stage.

LE SSERAFIM Documentary ‘Make It Look Easy' EPISODE 02

I got quite a few requests to continue so here we are. I like the member' focus and showing sides of their vulnerability. I still don't feel we know Kazuha well, but I think that might be information. I don't believe it's that she is just shy and unwilling to show more of herself, she seems unsure of who she truly is as an artist. Given her rushed start it makes sense that she is still transitioning from a ballet performer to this type of stardom and will unveil in her time.

OHHHHHH i forgot how satisfying the deep notes in this song were. This performance really highlights their voices, we know they can sing, but hearing them without dancing and effects is such a perfect reminder. I'm back to not knowing if I prefer this or Armadeggdon.

JAEHYUN - “Smoke” Band LIVE Concert [it's Live] K-POP live music show

That pre-chorus is soo pretty and smooth. His deeper vocals strengthen this song. You know whisper's usually get me glitching but these were less striking more smooth, and blended well.

Twice - Here I am Nissan Stadium

I don't know why the visuals were so distracting, it felt like early on when I discovered them. This choreo is also really nice, the fluidity and the positional play was so satisfying.

p.s the sixteen ep 7 episode is having issues in the export so enjoy this whilst I get it ready :)

Made in Korea - K-pop experince

I was so curious about this, seeing people from my context experience K-pop training and the SM debut process. They started so happy, but soon realised how tough it was.

By the end I was equal parts cackling and soo nervous, it was expected but damn they were really cut deep.

 I was nervous that they would show K-pop in a problematic light but it seems to be positive so far, with most of the guys appreciating the hard work involved. Blaise's comments started to grate on me, ...

This was such a shock,

[Spoiler] I felt like crying with Momo. She was clearly soo close and influential to the girls at this stage because they have not cried for anyone like this - kinda savage lol. I don't even know how we get to the group we know, soo curious.
