Chapter 20

Blackfire’s eyes narrowed as she looked down at me. Gaining height due to flying a bit in the air. If she hadn’t, I’m not so sure she’d have been taller. Probably around the same height, if not a slight inch bigger. Tamaraneans didn’t seem to be on the small size, but they weren’t exactly giants either.

“You better chose your next words very carefully.”

I took a brief moment to compose myself. While I was aware that Blackfire could literally crumple me lik...

Chapter 19

I wasn’t exactly the fastest Titan. That title of course went to Kid Flash. Unless Galatea regains her original powers, then that gets called into question, but I digress. And while speed was nice to have, flight would have been much better in this situation as Starfire was being pulled around in the air from a mechanical looking squid.

And considering my name wasn’t Raven, Galatea, Beast Boy, or Blackfire, that meant I wasn’t exactly in a position to help. Thankfully Starfire was...

Chapter 18

The festival was winding down slightly, but not because it was ending. On the contrary, it was now starting to get serious. With the majority of people wandering up towards the hillside in order to get a good seat to watch the oncoming fireworks. Which meant less people enjoying the other festivities, but there were still some stranglers who seemed to care more about games than the fireworks.

Such as Robin and Blackfire. Who seemed to have hit several booths with…surprisingly less tha...

Chapter 17

Almost every Titan agreed to join in on the fourth of July festival in the city harbor. The only one who didn’t was Aqualad who had something better to do back in Atlantis. Beast Boy was most excited at the idea, only being marginally behind by Starfire. Cyborg seemed like he was willing to go along with it, and that he might have some fun. Raven was rather disinterested until Starfire explained about how many fortune tellers and mystical books that were being sold.

Which stuck out to...

Chapter 16

Starfire made a ‘squee’ like noise as she hung onto her sister and swung her around. Much to her sister’s apparent confusion and shock. Something that showed that she was rather uncomfortable with the action, but was currently allowing it to happen anyway. After several minutes of Starfire not saying anything, Beast Boy decided to speak up.

“Uh, Star? Are you going to just keep doing this or…?”

Starfire immediately dropped her sister in shock. Which forced the black ha...

What female DC character would you like to see more of in the future? This change probably won't be immediate in order to be as natural as possible, but rest assured I will be adding them into the story. Chose whatever you want!

Chapter 15

The Man-Bat creatures transformed back into normal people. Once again, they were citizens of Jump City with no prior history of crime or drug use. And so far, that was the only connection we were able to draw. Though Robin was busting his ass trying to find more.

Now that there were a good number of Man-Bat serum users popping up, we had to start immediately giving these bodies to hospitals. Not only did they need help, but it was becoming evident that this was a growing problem.

Chapter 14

I was able to take a seat thanks to the spare chairs in the corner of the dark room. As apparently this was just a storage closet. Ethan just has a flair for the dramatic.

Unsurprising, he always has.

Perhaps it comes with being the Penguin’s son. Or perhaps that’s just a trait he’s developed on his own. Or maybe that’s just an effect Gotham has on people.

“So, how are you doing? How’s Min-Jun? Is she around?”

I asked him. I was curious as to ...

Chapter 13

Her name was Samantha Warren. She worked as a clerk at a gas station in Jump City for about ten years before having wound up reported missing a few days ago. She had no previous known criminal history nor any sort of prior relationship with Kirk Langstrom, aka Man-Bat. Who was apparently still in Arkham.

Which of course begged the question of how did she become this bat creature, and why? Unfortunately, the girl herself couldn’t give answers as she was currently in a pretty d...

Chapter 12

Due to the increase in the Titan’s roster, we had a much easier time dividing activities. A group to work on chores, a group to take some time off, and a group to handle threats in Jump City. While it would be very amusing to immediately jump a villain with all nine of us, it wasn’t very efficient.

It would also leave the Titan’s Tower unguarded. While it did have auto defenses in place, it still made a pretty massive difference for someone to be able to actually help use said def...

Chapter 11

There were somedays that were good, and then there were some days that were bad. Today? Today was a day that was damn near perfect. Starting off with the news online.

No, I was not talking about the dumb dispute skirmish with Bialya and one of its neighbors. Though I will say the picture they used for the queen left an impression.

I was instead referring to the Gotham news. As once again a jail specifically dedicated to people with superpowers had a breakout. And not a small one e...

Chapter 10

Due to being on a floor that had been closer to the bottom of the Tower, I was one of the last people to show up to the living room. To which everyone was crowding around…some long hair blonde woman…no wait, she was a Justice Leaguer. Black Canary.

It was easy to forget the other female Justice League members when they had Wonder Woman in their ranks.

She nodded as I appeared.

“Now that everyone’s here, I can start teaching. For those not as well versed in martial ar...

Chapter 9

Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to just immediately pop back at the Teen Titan’s tower. Instead, the majority of us were escorted back to the Hall of Justice. Not for any sort of punishment, but just to get a complete picture of the situation.

Flash interviewed Kid Flash.

Aquaman interviewed Aqualad.

Superman interviewed Galatea.

Batman interviewed Robin.

And I was interviewed by a random justice league member. Preferably Wonder Woman. Or so I expected. Unf...

Chapter 8

Once again, I would like to state my distaste for the Zeta Tubes. Even when loaded up with drugs I couldn’t keep from vomiting through my second teleportation. Grossing out the rest of the group.

After a bit of walking, we finally found Project Cadmus. It was a small enough building. It had several floors, but it wasn’t like a skyscraper. It did look to be on fire, but it was a pretty small one that would likely be easily taken care of.

Aqualad started to come up with an idea ...

I took a mint.

“…And you’re saying this thing can teleport people? And that there’s no chance of it fucking up and scrambling my insides?”

Robin sighed once more, rolling his eyes under his mask at me.

“It’s a Zeta Tube, and yes. It’s perfectly safe. We’ll be transported to a location close by to the Hall of Justice. Where the Justice League will be waiting for us.”

…Oh god. Not only did I have to worry about sudden and inexplicable death, I had t...

Chapter 6

(S???? W????? PoV)

Starting from scratch was an arduous path. It meant working from the ground up from nothing particularly special. To handle the rawest materials and turn them into something usable.

Despite knowing the massive time sink and possible consequences, I proceeded forward. Since the dawn of humanity tools have been crafted out of materials. From sharpening bits of stone, to the casting of guns. The only difference between this and th...

Chapter 5

This morning we finally handed over the villains that had been in our care. Gizmo and Mammoth were rather unconcerned. Likely believing that they had a way out. Jinx on the other hand was frowning. Occasionally scratching the back of her neck before frowning in an aimless direction.

By all accounts it seemed like her treatment had been a resounding success. Not only had I gotten a better handle on several abilities I knew, but Jinx’s memories of each night had disappeared.

Chapter 4

Robin had a gym dedicated to him, with a few machines dedicated to Beast Boy and Cyborg. Cyborg had an entire floor connected to the power and security of the tower to…do Cyborg things. Raven had her own meditation room, outside of her own actual room. Starfire had…well Starfire didn’t get anything, but my point still stands.

And what did I get?

Nothing. The only way for me to get stronger was to buy a rudimentary chemistry set with the money funded to me by the Justice Le...

Chapter 3

“Ugh! What did Starfire even make last night!?”

Beast Boy complained, making a disgusted face before scraping the pan of it’s contents. Truth be told, I had no idea what that vile looking stuff was either, but that obviously wasn’t going to help Beast Boy. Chores had to be done, after all.

“Well, it doesn’t look like meat at least.”

I stated, which made him reexamine the pan before grimacing again. Almost gagging before looking at me with pleading eyes. Of c...

Chapter 2

Our first week of crimefighting as a team was pretty uneventful. There just didn’t seem to be a lot of crime happening at the time. Most of the ones that were reported were pretty…small. Petty crimes that could have been solved by just one member.

So, imagine their face when all six of us showed up. Yeah, that robber probably pissed himself.

After that, we pretty much agreed to just start patrolling individually around different districts. Responding to nearby calls and if t...

Chapter 1

I can create drugs.

Well, that’s a bit of a simplification, but it’s not wrong at all. As long as I know the chemical compound of any material, I can replicate it through my body. If it’s something liquid, I can convert parts of my body to that substance. My spit, piss, blood, sweat, etc. If it’s something gaseous, I can breathe it out. Replacing my carbon dioxide with another form.

And if it’s a solid…well, I can materialize it in my hand! Unfortunately, it sounds m...

Prologue

Police transportation wasn't nearly as cool as it looked on the outside. There were flashy colors, a neat paint job, and detailed writing saying exactly what kind of car it was. Combined with its size, it can be pretty intimidating to look at.

Inside of it however, it was just a van. Uncomfortable looking seats to either side, forcing the officers to take a seat that went below their knees. Each one them silent, and very likely uncomfortable, if their constant squirming was any indicat...
